Impeccable service. Very clean though old. Right next to Prado museum (I thought was the best museum in Madrid) Quiet location and rooms have a double door so quiet . Beds very comfy. Sent complimentary Cava to room when husband let slip was my birthday. Fresh flowers and bed linen daily

Excellent hotel and recommended for business or famely trips. Very good location nearby city walk and tour. Staff are very helpful, polites and delivering any requested service on spot with smile.

This hotel is in a class by itself for service and careful, discreet care for its guests. We stayed for four nights and were cared for like visiting royalty. The concierge service is especially noteworthy. The Ritz will always be our home in Madrid.

This is a Ritz that has very small rooms and very traditional. Feels almost outdated. We had to ask the reception to change our room as the room they gave us was from the 1950's. The service is spot on and the food is very, very overpriced. We ordered pasta for our daughter in the room and it was 30 Euros. Probably the first and last stay for us at […] this particular Ritz. I was disappointed by this hotel. I have stayed in many other hotels owned by Orient Express and this was the worst one I have been to. The lobby of the hotel and lounge decor were very nice and the Christmas decorations were lovely. However the decor in the room was a tired, for example the carpet needed to be cleaned and the painted woodwork was chipped […] and needed refreshing. The corridors to the room smelled very stuffy and were dark and uninviting. The prices of drinks in the lounge were extortionate! Around 50 Euro's for 4 regular beers - I don't mind paying a premium for nice surroundings but this was ridiculous. By contrast, the food prices in the restaurant were quite reasonable. There are much better hotels in Madrid in this price range. Les mer

It looked old, the service was slow, and the room was super small. The Christmas decorations helped some, but I was highly disappointed overall for a Ritz and expected much more. We also stayed at a Westin across the street and it was much newer and had better service.

The bed was so uncomfortable. They spay the hotel and halls with powder smelling fragrance that made myself and husband very stuffy. NOT what I would have expected being a Ritz Hotel. The staff was very slow in the bar and dining areas.

We had two stays at the Hotel Ritz and enjoyed both of them. The staff was superior, extremely helpful and friendly.

The locations is perfect. The service is impeccable. They are a real 5 stars hotel. They have a very good breakfast I had only a good experience at the Hotel, I really recommend.

Excelent staff, but the rooms are in very bad shape, looks like the one I stayed in has not been renovated since the 80s. The inner courtyard to which my room had view is just horrible, a few plants on a inner rooftop wich looks just horrible. Price/quality: I would not recomend it, I stayed at the Palace hotel a week before and it was much much better […] and its just across the street. Les mer

Very plush hotel in an excellent location right in the best area of Madrid, next to the Prado and Retiro Park. Extremely expensive food but not necessary to purchase on top of the hotel room.

We stayed 5 days at the hotel, love the location, secluded yet central. We got a room overlooking Museum Prado, Goya statue and the church which was great. The concierge got us skip line tickets..really awesome. The size of the room is decent for Europe with the tall window. The downside was the room temperature; we got there close to Spring which was […] nice temperature in the morning and night but during the day was really hot. The hotel rep said they do not turn on the air conditioning till Spring; quite unexpected to hear. They brought us a fan instead. The bed sheet are not soft, neither the tissue and toilet paper. Great service, beautiful hotel and right in the middle of all the museums. No bus, no taxi, no fuss. Food and drink prices are high but, to be expected. And, there is a Starbucks across the Plaza.

I wanted my stay to be wonderful, so I emailed beforehand to the hotel manager requesting a good room and I got a personal reply with the managers in CC that everything will be arranged. It was ! the receptionist were very profissional and they gave me a good room with a nice view. The hotel is old (they were celebrating 100 year anniversary ) but that […] aside, it was well-maintained and the just luxurious ! Loved the antiquey look of the room and the amenities that were provided. the bathroom was a bit small but it didn't bother me .. the conceirge were more than helpful, they arranged the train ticket to another city, they got me football tickets to watch a game i wanted to see and also they helped me solve a problem with my spanish bank :) everybody dealt with me with a big smile on their faces.. Car pickup service was disappointing--flight was delayed and driver didn't wait for us--hotel attempted to charge me for this nonservice. Concierge service was spotty--never once gave us anything in writing(location, address, other instructions). Always was pushing for hotel car service--very expensive.

Expected the best from leading hotel chain and was sorely disappointed. Room was not serviced needed to ask for this to be done. Bed was broken. General lack of attention in hotel housekeeping and general service. Not up to five star standard. Would not stay here again. Upon leaving and being asked how our stay was, to which we replied not as we expected […] they promptly responded with a muffled half hearted "sorry". Very very poor. My husband and I wanted a first rate experience for the beginning of our overseas celebration of our 25th Wedding Anniversary. We flew into Madrid and stayed at the Hotel Ritz Madrid and were completely thrilled with the reception, the room, the service, the view from our private balcony overlooking the Prado Museum, the proximity to the parks, shopping […] and dining districts. The Ritz Madrid is in the best possible location, right next to the Prado Museum and within walking distance of tons of other attractions. The hotel itself is gorgeous and the staff wonderful. I would recommend this hotel to anyone!

プラド美術館のとなりで立地は便利。トイレのタンクの水が流れっぱなしで溜まらず、苦労した。チェックイン前に着いたが、部屋を用意してくれた。

地下鉄の駅からも遠くなく、前の通りの向かいにコンビニみたいな店もあって便利。 隣がプラド美術館で観光に街中に出るのも不便は感じません。 こっちの都合で早くチェックインしに来たのに、部屋が用意できるまでの間、 下のサロンでお茶と茶菓子を出してくれた。あとで鼻血が出るほどの金額を部屋に 付けられるのかとおびえていたけど結局無料だった。 少し出かけて、部屋に戻るとウェルカム的な焼き菓子においしいチョコレートが 置かれていた。やっぱり一流です。コンシェルジュで闘牛のチケットを手配してもらいましたが 丁寧に対応していただきました。レセプションの方も親切でした。歴史がある分ちょっと古さを 感じましたが特に問題はないと思います。

マドリッド訪問の目的がプラド美術館だったので、近くにある五つ星ホテルということで選びました。 古い建物なので、客室内の扉の建付はあまりよろしくないのですが、広さは十分ありますし、バスルームもゆったりしているので快適に過ごすことができました。シャワールームが別にあり、トイレとビデも個室になっています。 スタッフも皆さんフレンドリーで親切でした。拙い英語でも大丈夫。 「ヨーロッパらしい趣のあるホテルに泊まりたい」という気持ちを十分満足させてくれました。外から戻って、ロビーに入るたびに華やかな気分になりました。夜のライトアップも素敵でした。 ホテル内では食事をしなかったため評価はできませんが、ウェルカムスイーツとチョコレートは美味しかったです。 プラド美術館はもちろん、バルの集まるエリアも近いです […] 。徒歩5~10分くらいのところにあります。えてして治安の心配されるマドリッドですが、観光地に近いからか、至る所に警察官がパトカーで待機してるので、ホテルから夜のバル巡りに出る時も、何となく安心感がありました。 Les mer

El Ritz de Madrid, es sin duda, un hotel de maravilla. Sin embargo, los estragos del tiempo no perdonan y el Hotel requiere, con cierta urgencia, una remodelación a fondo. los cuartos, en especial , ya muestran señales de envejecimiento. Dicho lo anterior, la localización, la comida, y el servicio, hacen de este Hotel un verdadero placer el utilizarlo! […] A pocos pasos del Prado y del Thyssen, el Ritz no puede tener mejor localización. ２０世紀初頭にリッツとエスコフィエが作ったホテルですから、細かいところで近代化はされていても古いです。 ホスピタリティは非常によく、お茶のセットが二日目の掃除で下げられていたので、持ってきてと行ったらすぐ持ってきてくれました。三日目もなくなっていて電話するの面倒だなあと思っていたら、昨日のボーイさんが「あなたには必要だから」とお茶セットを持ってきてくれました。 バーテンダーさんにはファーストネームで呼ばれるようになったし、エステも気持ちよかったです。 ただひとつ解決できなかった問題は、お風呂に滑り止めがなくツルツルで、吸盤で引っ付けるゴムのバスマットもなかったこと。 ハウスキーピングの四ヶ国語喋れる人に一生懸命説明したのに、わかってもらえませんでした。アメリカのアマゾンで探してみたら、ごく普 […] 通の品物なのですが。足腰に自信のない方には天上シャワーをおすすめします。 タンスとクロゼットは長い逗留をしていた時代を思わせてとても大きいです。 朝食はオレンジジュースとお水を勧められますが、お勧めはメロンジュースとカバ（スペインの発泡ワイン）です。スクランブルエッグとチョリソーが絶品でした。 今の時期は夕食もガーデンレストランで。おいしいパンにはエシレ（有塩）がついてきます 好物のイカスミのパエリア、美味しかったです。 Les mer

家族４人（大人２人１２歳１０歳）で宿泊。 チェックインカウンターの方もとても親切丁寧で笑顔も素敵。子供達をプリンセスのように扱ってくれました。日本人は、年配の方が多かったです。 ４人部屋ファミリールームがなかったので２部屋とりましたが、チェックイン時にコネクティングルームがあるのでそちらに変更してくださいました。ベッドは、それぞれの部屋にクイーンサイズが１台づつありました。話せばシングル２つになるタイプです。 到着時、水とケーキがそろえられており歓迎されてる感がアップ。 アメニティは、全てロクシタン。 トイレ、シャワールームとバスタブが分かれていたので観光で疲れた足を投げ出してゆったり疲れをとる事ができました。 夜のベッドメイクの時、娘のぬいぐるみにまで気を配っていただいて嬉しかったです。  […] チョコレートと果物と水が枕元に用意されていました。 何か必要な事があれば、待たされる事なくすぐに対応。 ドアマンが笑顔も素敵で皆さん紳士でとても親切でした。いつも、心配してくださり必ず色々な言葉をかけていただきました。 朝食は、ビュッフェ形式でメロンがとても美味しかったです。テラス席も選べます。 夜は、夏季のみですがガーデンでお食事できます。夜１０時ほぼ満席で、さすがはリッツといったドレスアップした素敵な女性が目につきました。 何をとってもさすがはリッツです。安心して日々を過ごす事ができました。 子供達にも夢を与えてくれる素敵なリッツにまた宿泊したいです。 Les mer
