Overall very unhappy,this is an older property with many problems.For example the carpet was fifthly,really needed to be replaced,the amenities were limited for the price.I should have move my second day there,will not recommend it to anyone I know..You need to clean it up before the olympics come to town..My error was I should have taken photos and […] placed on u tube. Great shopping and eateries nearby, right on the beach and convenient to happenings in Ipanema, Leblon and Copacabana. Excellent service - I left an item behind and they were very happy to ship to me, this is way beyond what you can typically expect in Brazil, even for hotels of this caliber.

Let me preface by saying I travel 52 weeks a year for work and stay in hotels all over the world, logging close to 200 nights per year. Pros: Amazing location, best in Ipanema. Also, Ipanema is less touristy than Copacabana so overall probably best location in Rio. There are tons of great little restaurants within seconds of the hotel (Zaza, Resto, […] etc.). You are also a short cab ride from Sugarloaf and Christ the Redeemer. Beaches are great and not busy during the week but more busy on the weekend. It was easy to get a chair, umbrella, and towel once on the beach as long as you are out there before 11am. The room was very nice, we did not have a view of the ocean but that did not matter as we were not there much. The bathroom in our room was amazing, granite, shower and tub (although tub did not look clean), two sinks, etc. I would rate this hotel as a 4 all around. Cons: The roof pool is the size of a hot tub and there is very little breeze up there so it gets very hot. The breakfast is a little over priced. That's it.Overall great hotel, in a great location. We paid $350/night which I felt was reasonable. A old run-down W or Westin in NYC will run you $300-400 and this was better. Les mer

My husband and I very much enjoyed our stay at the Caesar Park in Ipanema. The staff was most accommodating and allowed us both an early check in after our overnight flight and a late checkout before we boarded our cruise. The room was comfortable and well maintained. We especially enjoyed the restaurant and small pool on the 23rd floor which offered […] a panoramic view of the beach. It was fine but the service could have been a little friendlier and helpful. However the concierge named Vinicuis was wonderful. He made our stay at the hotel better than it would have been otherwise. No free Wifi and it was difficult to get on the internet. Very confusing

Outstanding beach access, moments away from great food and shopping, top notch staff, every amenity offered. I really cannot say enough about it. I spent four nights there and would like to stay forty more. It is expensive, but as you see all Rio hotels are expensive.

We arrived around 9pm and they upgraded us from a side sea view to a full view room with a great view of the sea and beach. The reception and concierge desks were excellent. The breakfast was by contrast really mediocre. Not even tasty fruit, which is nearly impossible in Brazil! But thanks. Altogether a good stay.

Hotel does not include breakfast if room purchased via Expedia. Otherwise it is included as it is normally so in most hotels in Brazil.

The personnel and rooms are nice and it is a very good location but..for the 5 stars and the price it should include breakfast, as most hotels in Rio, and wireless Internet.

We stayed at the Caesar Park Ipanema for a week of vacation and loved it. The hotel staff were friendly and the location of the hotel was fabulous. Beach service was great, concierge service was good (although several times we couldn't find what had been recommended) and the room in and restaurant and bar dining were all delicious. The staff were very helpful, the gym had good equipment, breakfast was delicious, the view was amazing & the room was very comfortable.

The entire experience was excellent. From the check in on the 20th floor executive lounge, to the views, to the ambiance of both the lobby and rooftop pool, the experience at Caesar Park was better than anticipated in every way.

Too expensive for a 3 1/2 stars hotels... overrated; overpriced. Staff are very nice and helpful. hotel is dated; rooms are big; stay away from the elevator rooms....

Hotel was conveniently located on the beach, but outrageously over charged for everything. My package included wireless internet in the room, but they tried to charge me for it upon checking in. As well, they held $500 American dollars (via my charge card) on my room to cover my use of the wet bar/incidentals. The room was rather dirty/dingy with a […] soiled bed spread, carpeting and furniture. I've stayed in other 4 star hotels in South America and had much better conditions at much cheaper prices. You'd be better off renting an apartment in Ipanema. Les mer

Great hotel and you will pay for the comfort but that is expected with the rate of inflation in Brazil of late. A short distance to everything from shops and restaurants. Add in a slightly safer then other areas near by and it makes for a great trip

Bad service, horribly maintained building and rooms. Not a very nice atmosphere. It just feels old and as if they were just trying to make money from not investing on it. Would NOT recommend this hotel.

The best - location: right at Ipanema Beach; close to the local shops and restaurants. The swimming pool is very small like a tub. The worst thing: they really spy on guests, if you bring friends in - they check local people's ID, like Big Brother! Food is over priced at the hotel - but you can walk out and find local restaurants near by.

I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. This hotel is in a great location but it is not a 4.5 star hotel. It felt like a one star hotel. At check-in the room I originally requested through Expedia was not available. Therefore, I asked for an upgrade. This room was is a horrible shape. The carpet was super dirty and I did not want my feet to touch […] the carpet at all. The bed was not comfortable at all. The bathroom was the worst I have seen in terms of cleaness. The room's view was great but I did not enjoy the view, because I preferred not to stay in my nasty room. I complained and the receptionist did not change my room any more. O hotel possui uma localização excelente, porém, o valor é um pouco alto em se tratando das instalações não serem novas. Mas as roupas de cama são muito boas e o serviço de limpeza do quarto também. Concierge também muito bom, funcionários em geral muito educados! O serviço de praia também é um diferencial, com cadeira, guarda sol e toalhas disponíveis. […] O café da manhã e o jantar dentro do restaurante do hotel tem valores altíssimos, oque não vale a pena na minha opinião. O hotel é muito bem localizado e tem um otimo serviço de apoio na praia, com cadeiras e guarda-sol. O quarto com vista parcial era confortável e com a manutenção impecável. Apenas um detalhe negativo, foi que não conseguimos um check in antes do horário previsto (15hs). No entanto, nos disponibilizaram meios para troca de roupa e guarda da bagagem.

Na década de oitenta e até o início da década de noventa,hospedei-me com regularidade do Caesar Park.Foi uma grande satisfação saber que as instalações estão muito bem conservadas e os serviços continuam sendo prestados de forma profissional, pessoal e às vezes até carinhosa pelos funcionários do hotel.
