Quality Hotel Kings Lynn - Norfolk (fylke)

I stayed one night at this hotel and overall was not impressed, the best bit was the breakfast, the worst was the evening meal which was made up of instant reheated food. The rooms are ok, enough for business use but I would not stay there for pleasure.

Regret to say that I was not as satisfied with the room as I have been on previous stays. The room was dark and poky. The bed was so uncomfortable and badly needs to be replaced. The carpet in the hallways and corridors could do with a good shampooing.

Terrible. I stayed there for 3 nights and they forgot to clean my room and I was run out of clean towel and toilet paper. The carpet is dirty, stain and smell. Disgusting. Should not rate even 3 stars. Need lot of improvement

The reception we received when we first arrived was excellent. Had a bit of a problem with the newspaper delivery the first morning and the receptionist on duty then could have been a bit more firendly, found her manner very taut. Problem was resolved at the end of the day. For the price it was excellent value

The hotel was pobably good in the 70's, but the decor and overall quality does not meet with expectations. Carpets awfully stained.

Overall an enjoyable stay. We had a problem with a faulty hot-water heater and a problem with the cleaning of the room, however, it was resolved satisfactorily and the manager graciously made amends.

The hotel itself was ok, the room was basic but clean and comfortable. What let the whole thing down was the bathroom. The shower had black and green mould in every corner stretching up the walls, the soap dish was green and rusty and it was generally disgusting. The bathroom itself was also mouldy and there was a small of damp. There was wallpaper […] which was flaking and peeling off the walls and even black mould at the top where the wallpaper met the ceiling. I complained and was offered nothing in the way of a reduction on my bill and was just told that my room 'hadn't been done yet' which I assume meant refurbished. I would never stay there again. The hotel was very worn and was in need of re-decoration. The carpets in the hall ways were stained and worn and the fittings in the bedroom had seen better days. For an overnight stop it was OK but I couldn't really recommend it.

The staff were friendly, the hotel was clean, the room I had was very dated and tired, but had all I needed for an overnight stay. The mattress was poor quality, I could feel the springs. The restaurant food was fine

Foud the bed to be much too low and very uncomfortable. The shower door could do with a good clean as had a lot of limescale

Read some pretty harsh reviews before staying but I have to say I was very pleasently surprsied by the Ramada. Ye okay, there's a bit of mould above the extractor in the bathroom but apart from this everything is fine. There's a good atmosphere in the hotel and the staff are all very friendly and helpful. Bed is comfy, slept a lot better than in other […] chain hotels like Premier Inn. Free internet access is quick and hassle free. Food is overprised and wasn't that impressed with the dinner but full english breakfast was decent. Overall very happy with it and would definately stay again Les mer

TheHotel is in a convenient location and only a few mins from the center of town, which is a great base for exploring the surronding area. The room we had was rather tired, tatty and worn. Fixtures which had come away from the bathroom had not been replaced, leaving marks on the wall. The carpets really could do with a deep clean and the scuff marks […] to the walls made the room look rather scruffy. There were a couple of issues with the servicing of the room which I had to bring to the attention to house-keeping / reception, but on both ocassiosn these were dealt with quickly without any problem. The staff were very plesant and polite & happy to help. The breakfast is a little expensive at £10 per person, but you do get the run of a cooked breakfast buffet (eggs cooke to order, bacon, sausages etc), cereal, fruit, pastries, toast, coffee etc. The quality of the food is excellent. For dinner in the evening, it's best to go into Kings Lynn, as all you will find in stone's throwing distance is a retail park with a smattering of pizza chains and car show rooms. Les mer

I accept that I only stayed one night however the following were my observations:- The Hotel needed investment as the room I stayed in required redecoration as the wall paper was lifting at the joints,the bed was not very comfortable and the carpet was looking for replacement. Bathroom firstly the extractor fan was choked in fluff and after years of […] use this can cause fires to electric motors by over heating and was reported to reception as a health & safety observation,the WC was badly stained below the water line, again the wall paper was coming away at the joints and the plastic skirting needed attention also the shower was not efficient and difficult to sett the temperatures all the bathroom needs updating and redecoration. Finally the breakfast was very good and so were the staff. Les mer

Although situated off a roundabout, there is easy access to all roads, and to shopping areas etc. Quiet apart from some road traffic, although we did have the windows wide open at all times because of the heat. Comfortable bed and everything we required in the room. We did not use the hotel restaurant and there are various food outlets very close, within […] a couple of minutes by car.The town of Kings Lynn is only minutes away by car. We would use this hotel again if we were in the area. Les mer
