"Rimelig hotell i Aberdeen"
Hotellet ligger rimelig i nærhet av flyplassen og ble valgt på grunn av: - beliggenhet - pris. Rommene, særlig baderom, bærer preg av slitasje og behov for en oppgradering. Helt ok for et rimelig korttidsopphold.

Grei avstand fra flyplassen i Aberdeen, men hotellet bar preg av "litt utsatt vedlikehold".... Var litt loslitt men helt greit som en enkel overnatting.

Comfy bed and clean room which are the main requirements, free wifi was useful but patchy service, seemed to depend on which room you were in as to the success. Service at check-in was not very impressive, waited around 10 minutes for the check in person to complete her phone call with a customer, not a problem, but given I was around 2 foot away a […] nod of acknowledgement and an apologetic smile would have gone a long way to create a much better first impression than simply being totally ignored did. Or perhaps a comment from the other employee who did not work on reception and was just sitting there also unable to see me waiting to check in would have been sensible, a different place to sit other than behind reception in view would make sense if not able to acknowledge new guests. Restaurant waiting staff were extremely friendly and interested to see how my meal was and whether there was anything else I needed. On paying the bill the information that "hope the food was ok, to be honest the bar food is much better and that is open tomorrow, I dont know why as the chef is the same but it is, also this food has been sitting there all night so probably wasnt the best" was not an overly welcome comment seeing as I had just eaten some of it! The hotel was very nice, excellent for the price. One small complaint would be the noise from the Heating pipework in the room i was given.

Fair hotel, with not much around it within walking distance. Main complaint was the use of the spa and gym. It stated it was free for residents within the information pack in the bedroom, but when we got there they charged us £4 for use and £1 for a towel! (non residents are charged £12). From the moment you pull up outside you know htis is not going to pleasant. A concrete monstrosity could be deemed as a compliment!!! Tired, dated, filthy are a few words that spring to mind, the bed was lumpy and you could feel the springs, the bathroom was filthy with urine stains under the seat!!! just disgusting The restaurant is like a bad cafe […] the food barely edible in terrible surroundings. "OK For a Short Stay"
Initially booked in for a week and was given a 'quiet room'. This ended up at the other end of the hotel overlooking the rooftop to the main road. One problem here was that the Wifi strength was very low and kept freezing. The room was pleasant enough and appeared clean but the wind whistled through the window frame rather well. Handy for the airport and on the route of a frequent bus service into town. Staff very friendly and helpful. Very competitive rates. I would definitely stay again when needing to be in Aberdeen.
NOT WORTH THE MONEY WALLS PAPER THIN HAD TO PHONE THE NIGHT PORTER ABOUT THE GUY NEXT DOOR TV BLARING AND THEN STARTED SNORING NO BEDSIDE CABINET ON ONE SIDE OF THE BED CARPETS THREADBARE NO PILLOW PROTECTORS WONT GO NEAR THE PLACE AGAIN

AVOID/BEWARE>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> This is the worst hotel that I have ever stayed in….. And for the cost, it was borderline theft The entire hotel is in desperate need of renovation. The corridors, stairwells, and rooms could all do with cleaning and renovating (or ripping everything out and stating again.) The walls are a thin as paper, so we were kept […] up all night and through the early hours of the morning by our neighbours and other strange hotel noises such as pipes, radiators, someone flushing the chain in a room below, above or on the same floor as us. We were then woken up by our other neighbours TV at 6:00 am the following morning. The beds/mattresses did not feel like have been replaced since the hotel was built in the 1970's. My wife was unable to sleep on the double bed in the room as it caused terrible back pains. (The mattress sank down about a foot down straight down to the springs when any weight was applied to the bed) This was also painful and extremely uncomfortable for me If you thought it couldn’t get worse.... The food was atrocious and should not be served in ANY hotel/food establishment regardless of their star or cost We ordered room service on our 1st night in the hotel. I ordered a burger and chips, my wife ordered a roast chicken breast wrapped with bacon and topped Mozzarella. This cost around 20 pounds altogether without drinks. In less than 6 minutes, we received 2 birds eye "chicken" fillet breasts (these take 90 seconds to cook in the microwave) and some nasty left over bacon from breakfast. I received a microwave/reheated burger with some stale chips. We did not eat very much of the "meal" but it was enough for us both to be ill the following day (which we believe was 100% to do with the hotel food. What isn't hotels the hotels fault, but should be mentioned is that the hotel is next to the airport. "Disgusting and shameful"
Upon walking into the reception the smell is the first thing to assault the senses followed by the visual, old poor fittings and unwelcoming staff. 3 days in a room that has mould, stinks like nothing on earth and I had to walk to the nearby Lidl to buy a room freshener and air freshener, ripped duvet cover and what looked like blood splatter on the […] wall and bed sheet. The room was not clean and neither was it cleaned during my stay and this was evident by the grouting that laid on the carpet in front of the bathroom door for 2 days before I picked it up and placed it in the bin. A disgusting hovel of a hotel and i wish I could put the room rate on here because the hotel wasnt worthy of charging 10% of what I was charged. Do yourself a favour and sleep in the local bus shelter because you will be relieved you did rather than book this hotel. Les mer

This was once a first class hotel but suffers from lack of maintenance. My window would not close fully and there was mould on the bathroom ceiling. The towels were wafer thin and need to be replaced with new ones. The receptionist, when she finally arrived to serve me, did not mention that because I had prepaid, I could not charge services to my room. "Hotel Britannia, Aberdeen - Don't do it!"
Generally poor level of service, reception staff were rude and unhelpful, breakfast was overpriced. Beds were far too soft and the showers (and decor) were straight out of a 1980's nightmare. The one saving grace for the place was Danny the barman who was polite and helpful and offered lots of useful advice regarding the area and transport options.

Incredibly convenient to the airport and right on the main road into and out of Aberdeen, making the trek into city centre a breeze. Clean and comfortable hotel, all the right amenities, great price. Not a single bad thing to say about it.

the room was clean and we had acces to the swimming pool and sauna for a very cheep price so very good value. Only matter the radiator was noisy in the morning.

"aangenaam hotel"
Aangenaam hotel. Vriendelijk personeel. Ik was verrast door het feit dat het hotel ook een indoor zwembad en een gym bleek te hebben. Van receptie naar kamer daaor een labyrinth van gangen en gangetjes voordat ik bij mijn kamer was. Die was verder uitstekend; ruim van maat en met een goed geoutilleerde badkamer.
