Clean, well-kept rooms. But the breakfast spread in the morning was worth the price of admission alone !!

Schaumberg had everything we needed to have a little spring break. Our children are little and thought everything was great. The little pool worked well. The breakfast was convenient and good. We will probably use the same place next year.

Great place to stay! They have a great breakfast and managers hour! The pool is really cold and small.

The hotel was very clean and comfortable, with a free hot breakfast. The only downside was a heavy stepping neighbor above us, would request a room on the second floor in the future.

Our stay was great. The staff was very friendly. The hotel was clean and comfortable and the breakfast had a lot more choices than most hotels offer.

Good facility with country hearth theme. Good breakfast , sizeable rooms, due to Schaumberg city regulations, signage for hotels from roads is greatly minimized. Internet connection/speed is average. Very clean bathroom, room thermostat controlled digitally from the wall not on the window/floor unit, carpet average. This was one the most family friendly hotels, I have ever stayed at with my grandkids.there was juice and milk avaiable anytime of the day or night, the free breakfast was great.loved the pool and th hot tub, would stay again in a minute.............

Best WiFi service I have ever seen in a hotel.

We stay here every year. The staff is friendly and helpful. I love the evening snacks and they always have fresh baked cookies and popcorn. It is very comfortable and has all the amenities you could ask for.

Stayed here with my wife and 7 and 8 year old daughters. The rooms were clean front desk was really polite/ helpful and courtious. Kids loved the warm cookies upon arrival. Very nice hot breakfast, sure beats just having bagels and muffins like some other places we stayed. The only downfall was the size of the pool, We were there on a friday/ saturday […] stay and the pool was packed. The nice thing about the pool was the hours, some stay open till 9pm . this was open till 11 pm a major plus.. We will be back Les mer

Location was easy to find and close to what we wanted to do. Our room was clean and very satisfactory as is often the case with this hotel brand. For the money, this was a good place to stay. Oh yes, the AM breakfast offered a few more options than the standard fare.

We came down for the Chicago Marathon. Wanted to come a night early and didn't want to pay a ton for a room. For less than 1/3 of the price we paid at the our following night's hotel in downtown Chicago, this provided more of everything except a convenient location to the race site. We were able to order pizza and eat in the lounge area and were invited […] to help ourselves to milk for the kids from the kitchenette area. Pool was nice, free parking and the free breakfast in the morning was a pleasant surprise. There was a business center with free internet (unlike our next stay). Staff was exceptionally friendly. Overall a great night's stay and would definitely recommend it. Les mer

If you like the essence of both beauty and comfort, Country Inns & Suites at Schaumberg is the place to stay. The hotel is close to shopping and entertainment, but is quiet and peaceful. The decor is lovely and we enjoyed the nice hot breakfast menu selections available each morning of our stay. My husband used the business center to finish some last […] minute work. Hotel was clean and comfortable with spacious rooms and plenty of amenities. Evening reception with snacks was an added bonus. Breakfast was better than most.All the staff was very friendly and accomodated my request for an early check-in. Internet connection was fast and there were convenient outlets for computers and chargers.

So many good things to say about Country Inn! Very clean indoor pool and hot tub, super comfy bed with tons of pillows, flat screen TV, coffee maker, CD player, and hair dryer provided. The FREE breakfast even included scrambled eggs, sausage, and biscuits & gravy. FREE nightcap on weekends that includes party mix type of snacks and free beer/wine. […] VERY convenient location, close to the highways. Candies in the restroom, nice touch. The only issue we had while there was with the toilet flushing, and it was corrected immediately following us notifying them. CDs and books available to borrow while you stay. Very clean room and pleasant experience.

Requested non-smoking got smoking. Other than that...

The hotel was nice for the price. It did smell really bad in the hallways, but the room was fine.

The bed was comfortable, and it is in a great location, but the hall way on the third floor smelled like cigarettes even though it is a non smoking hotel. I will not stay there again.

This Hotel was Very Clean staff very nice the only negative thing about my stay was the desk area and hallways smelled like a skunk??? Not sure if one had gotten in or close to front and smelled up the place or what. But it was not from not being clean definatley smelled like a skunk.

I enjoyed my stay. I was in town for school and had a lot of work to complete. Internet axcess was not a problem and the breakfast / happy hour was a plus for my busy schedule. I also apprecite the wake up call. Would stay there again!

Country Inn was decorated very nice. Very clean. The hot breakfast was great.

Staff is great, having breakfast really helps. Fitness room is very small.

I suppose depending upon time, we were just 12 minutes from O'Hare picking up our daughter on a Sun afternoon. The hotel is nicely appointed with Victorian charm, front desk helpful when I had car trouble. Breakfast had nice choices, pool (indoor) was clean as were rooms. If you don't mind a short walk you can get to several restaurants, Kohls, and […] Barnes and Noble otherwise you are just a 14-15 min drive to the Main thoroughfare. We stayed 3 nights and never heard a sound from the neighboring rooms. I did like the 12foot ceilings but 2 of the nights the people in the room above us moved like a herd of cattle! Room was cleaned nicely every day, pool was clean, the hot breakfast was great to wake to. Just a great hotel for the family at a great price. Thanks!

Having stayed in many hotels around the country, this is one of the best. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. THis is a great place

Everytime we come to Chicago to see our daughter, we always stay here. It is a little drive from Chicago but it is worth it to us. Also, there is a lot of things to do that is easy access from the hotel.

Great Location, Everything was great. Staff Very Friendly, nice Place, i would stay again with my family.

The hotel staff were all great and helpful, the location was great for all of our needs. The hotel itself was clean comfortable and accomidating.

We recently stayed here and requested 2 rooms. They put us riht across the hall from each other which worked out perfect. The rooms were comfortable and clean.Very nice to have a microwave and fridge with little ones. The staff was amazing with my grandchildren, especially my 3 year old grandson. The breakfast was great, it actually saved us money by […] not having to eat breakfast out. They have a great choice of hot and cold foods. The evening snack was great too, and they even have complimentary wine and and beer in the evening. Cookies and milk and popcorn at night which the kids enjoyed. The whole family agreed that will stay here again. We were close to great restaurants and not too far from Woodfield Mall which is awesome. Thanks Country Inn...we'll be back! Les mer

We stayed 3 nights during which time the skunk smell was not very pleasant. It seems that a family of skunks had taken up residence at the hotel and although the hotel was working to resolve the problem, it made our stay less comfortable than we had come to expect

Very close to Medieval Times Dinner Theater. Nice breakfast included. We also enjoyed the evening snacks and drinks. Very pleased!

this hotel was clean and helpful to all our needs. the surrounding area is wonderful. everything from supermarkets to restraunts were very near by. to get there was not so easy but with the gps it was no problem. It was close to metra. Breakfast was more than your danish and juice. there was cereal, waffles, eggs, sausage, toast, yogurt and pastries. […] they even when to the extra length to provide rice wiht seasonings for some of the Japanese guest. very impressive. I will say the take out taxi (food delivery service) was a bit price and if you use cash they charge an extra 10 percent which I thought was pricey. Les mer

We have stayed at other Country Inn and Suites. Generally, we were satisfied with their service. But, this Schaumburg hotel made us smile. Everything they offered was great. The room was spacious, clean, bed was very comfortable, bathroom was big, breakfast was fantastic. We were even surprised by the evening cocktail hours more than average food and […] service. Since we were here partially on business, we appreciated their complementary internet connection that never died. We would stay here again. Les mer

we LOVED the fact that the hotel enforced adult time for the pool and hot tub. the Bfast was REAL good and everyone on staff were VERY courteous actually we are going back for another 4 days in Aug. .

We have stayed at this hotel several times in the past . Our most recent stay was a disaster because of a strong chemical odor in the room (especially on the bedding). I assume it was a dissenfectant spray or air freshner. I think the smelly bedding was sprayed to mask the odor. It was so strong, I awoke at 3:00 AM and had difficulty breathing. We stayed […] the second night after I opened the windows for two hours and left them open some all night. WE WILL NOT STAY THERE AGAIN !!!! Les mer

This hotel suited all our needs, it was convenient to where we needed to be. Would stay here again. The continental breakfast was more like a breakfast buffet. Recommend this hotel.

Very nice and comfortable. Only thing rooms are not very sound proof. You can here heavy footsteps from room above, shower from adjacent rooms very loud and noisy in the early mornings

When we booked the hotel, we didn't expect much, but once we set foot inside, it was unlike any we'd been to before. It had a cozy country B&B feel to it actually. The pool was right next to our room as well. Nice rooms with good beds. Milk/cookies in the evening. A great deal overall and will definitely visit again.
