We had a fallswiew room booked, and that was we'll worth the money. The hotel was ok, nothing spesial, but a tiny bathroom in our room.

Hotellet ligger ganske så sentaralt. Ansatte ved hotellet var veldig greie og behjelpelige. Standarden på rommet var et røverkjøp til denne prisen. Hotellet hadde også en ganske så rask tårdløstinternett uten tilleg i prisen. Vil anbefalle andre som vil heller bruke penger på noe annet kjekt enn hotellrom å velge dette hotellet, da du får utrolig mye for pengene.

"Hotel was poorly managed and service didn't exist."
It's not everyday that I get to stay in an hotel that is so awful that I couldn't just let it go and move on with my life. Every once in a while you will encounter a hotel that is so bad that even on top of the disgusting and filth that blankets this hotel the staff are so clueless that they would have tripped over the cordless phone. I would like to […] be nice about this review but I really have no sympathy for this hotel that calls itself "The Hotel of Buffalo" I want to take you through start to finish. My experience starts off like this. It was the end of Thanksgiving weekend. I had driven up from The Carolina's. It had taken me extra long because everyone and their mother was driving home from visiting with family for the holidays. I arrived around 3 am in the morning after driving 20 hours in a car. I pull up front and walk inside. I already had a reservation for this hotel. I walked up to the counter and a man(that looked like he was sleeping) hears me come in and walks up to the counter as if I was bothering him. "Can I help you?" , says the front desk agent. I have a reservation. He quickly brings up my booking and prints out a key. Mind you, at this point there is no hello, welcome to the Adams Mark or anything like that. The only thing I got is, "you will have to pay for parking and it is 10 dollars a day." He said the total would be 20 dollars for the two days. I was confused. 3 o'clock in the morning is the next day! The man wanted me to pay for the prior day. I mean come on that is just cheap and ignorant to take my money for a day I was not there. I brushed that off and since it was so late, I just wanted to get to sleep after a long day of driving. I was on my way out and realized the man never told me where to go. I had to go back into the hotel and ask him where I should park. I pointed out the door and told me to find the parking garage on the right. "Perfect location, Room overpriced"
We stayed here because it was walking distance to the Buffalo Sabres game. It was only like a 15 minute walk to the arena. There were a few bars along the way to do some pre game drinking. The room itself was nice and clean, but there was nothing special about it. Its just your normal hotel room. You definitely pay for the hotel location. Old tv in […] the room too. "Close by"
My wie and I went to the hockey game. The hotel offers parking in a secure lot for $10 and it's an easy 5 block walk to the arena. They also had a nice happy hour before the game so we saved money there also. Easy on and off also.
"Great hotel to stay for a Sabres game"
I had reserved two rooms with a request that they be adjoining. When we checked in, the front desk said they only had a record of one room. When I produced my receipt from hotels.com, they said that someone must have canceled the second room becuase they didn't think one person would want two rooms. They were unable, at that point, to fulfill my request […] for adjoining rooms because all those types of rooms were booked. Also, none of the other rooms were clean, so all of us stayed in one room until the second room would become available. I was originally told it would be 15 minutes or so. After 15 minutes, I went back to the lobby to check and was told it would be another 15 minutes. 90 minutes later, the second room still wasn't available and at that point we asked to speak with a manager. The manager waived the onsite parking fee and offered drink vouchers (which we declined). When we said we didn't need drink vouchers, we needed the other room, the manager finally upgraded our second room to a king bed suite. I was traveling with two young children, so I stayed in the standard room with them and my girlfriend stayed in the king suite. The king suite was very nice and the standard room was fine except one of the comforters was stained. The bathrooms were in good working order, but the ice machine on my floor (6th) was not working. We did have room service following the Sabres game and it was very good. The pool was just ok and there was no hot tub. Overall, I would say the location is great if you're in town for a Sabres game and are planning on walking to the First Arena. I am certain that our stay would have been much more enjoyable if we had received our initial reservation of two adjoining rooms, and, although the staff wasn't very proactive about our situation, they eventually made things right. "Clean room but not worth the upgrade"
We booked a Executive Two Doubles, it was very small and when a roll away bed was added it was very, very tight. The roll away was not in the room when we arrived, but was delivered in good time. Once there it blocked the entrance to the bathroom and the door. I was told that this room had a larger floor plan, I wonder how small the regular room was. "Nice hotel"
It was very clean and quite comfortable. Overall a pretty good deal for a nice place. Would've like a mini fridge, though.
"Stop Over before Niagara Falls"
We stayed here on a stop over having traveled up from New York City on our way to Niagara Falls. The location of the hotel was really handy and easy to find just off the motorway. The room was good value with four of us sharing a family room comfortably. "Rude staff"
I upgraded room to an Executive King due to needed the space. I arrived at Hotel and was told they did not have the room I booked and paid for the prior month. I booked through Hotels.com and was holding an e-mail confirmation that they refused to even look at. They said I would have to take it up with them. Cut and dry. They refused to even look at […] my confirmation. They had given Hotels.com another confirmation number and clearly had made a mistake, but took no ownership to it at all without even an "I'm sorry but..." Everything was great, location,etc. My traveling companion and I had the worst beds in our rooms. Besides the fact that the mattresses were lumpy and old (the tops were spilling over the sides) they were made with too short of sheets. I woke up with the uncovered mattress by my face. Both of us felt the same.
The hotel is undergoing renovations and in its current state is not worth the price. The non-renovated floors (all but the executive floor) are dirty and shabby with filthy carpets and lights without globes lining the hallways. The rooms, although they have new carpet, seem very shabby. "Adam's Mark Buffalo"
The main problem was cost from Airport when I called about shuttle was told they had one but for only airline personal only? A guest is a guest my money was the same as theres un real. Room had duct tape in the shower to cover hole in the wall.

They didnt have a "Clean" room available for me. Left me in the bar at midnight.. never came back to tell me my room was ready.

we booked the room @ 7pm and arrived @ 11pm only to have to wait an hour for our room to be cleaned. Not impressed at all expecially with 2 young children. Bathroom was smelly, bath tub drain was blocked (water slow to go down), 3 towels for 4 ppl, no shampoo, 1 bar of soap for both wash basin and bathing. This was the worse hotel stay. Our cable did not lock into the weather channel or the discovery channel. Really could have used the weather channel since we were in for the Garden Walk. Not the cleanest of rooms around the edges like ceiling, windows, etc. Radio reception was virtually nonexistent. Missed my NPR on Sunday!

"Incredibly overpriced for what you get!"
For the amount we paid, this hotel had little to no amenities. I was extremely disappointed at how uncomfortable the sheets were, the fact that room service was suspended during our stay there (and breakfast was uncreative and overpriced for what we got), and generally, the staff just seemed annoyed to have to work there. If I had to do it all over […] again, I would've picked another hotel because there is ABSOLUTELY NOTHING in the surrounding area (since all the restaurants/cafes close by 3-4pm!). I only stayed at this hotel because I have to meet my friend there. She traved from the States with a group and had already booked this hotel. The location is AWEFUL. No restaurant closer-by. You need to walk miles before you can access any restaurant. One way street around the hotel. You need to drive a big circle under confusing bridges before you […] can get to anywhere. Hotel lobby smells strong chemical, cheap detergent. Sofa there was worn out and stained. Parking is $10 per day extra. Breakfast Buffet is over $10 per person and food is average. No fridge or microwave in the room, they cost another $10 per night. You can get much better value for your money if you choose other hotels in the area. Hotel receptionist was sweet and nice however she wouldn''t release my room number to my friend although I told her she has my permission to release my room number to this guest with this name. She even checked with her supervisor and came back to say no they can't do that, it's illegal. What kind of law was that? Washroom toilet paper holder had nasty stains. Toilet gets blocked for normal flush. At night, you can hear people walking by talking in the hallway so clearly as if they speak in your room. The wall must be paper thin. The only good thing about the hotel is the indoor swimming pool. My kids had a great time there. however I noticed the towl supply is limited. After my kids took 2, there's only 1 left there. "Great Hotel - convenient to Arena."
Great experience - Breakfast delish. The only complaint was the doors weren't that soundproof. You could hear the elevator (we were 2 doors down) and every yell to a whisper of people passing by - it felt as if they were right in the room. Staff was really pleasant and helpful - very clean and comfy.
"good stay for a weekend getaway"
we were on the 6th floor and had no problems. a/c was good as room was comfy. nice to have an indoor pool and fitness room, we would come back for another getaway.
"Shattered Expectation."
We were placed on the 6th floor and immediately as we got off the elevator, the smell of paint was overwhelming. The airconditioning unit was turned all the way down and we could not adjust it. When we complained to the front desk attendant the next day, all she said was sorry. I was upset that we were not even offered a voucher and her apology did […] not seem sincere. "Adams Mark in Buffalo NY-convenient location"
We chose this hotel for it's location to the HSBC Arena, where we had concert tickets. It was in walking distance. The only negative thing I would say is they had a strict check in policy. Check is at 3:00, firm. They would not let us check in at 2:00 when we arrived, or even at 2:55. So we sat in their lounge for over an hour, waiting.

Hotel staff was apathetic and not motivated to help out guests. Vending machines on all floors were out of water, etc., on a Friday night. Several hall lights flickered. Room furnishings were old, lumpy, low quality, and generally uncomfortable. Some of the surfaces were dirty. The only thing this hotel has is good proximity to the highway and HSBC […] Arena. "Very Nice!"
The Adams Mark is a very big hotel, able to accomadate many people. We stayed there because we were in town to see the hockey game. The Adams Mark is a great hotel if you're just in for a weekend trip. The staff was very friendly and nice, had a decent bar and restaurant. The only thing that I didn't like was it's a little outdated. Decor and ammenities […] could use a make over. Also if you want to leave the hotel it's bit of a walk to go anywhere, there isn't anything food or shopping wise close to it. I do recommed it if you're just in town for short stay. Les mer

"Not wonderful"
Our room was very cold despite the fact that we kept turning up the heat. The room was clean and comfortable otherwise. The restaurant had a good breakfast buffet, but the lunch and dinner menus were a bit boring and somewhat overpriced. The wait staff was very friendly and helpful

We are very pleased with the hotel. Great facilities including gym, pool, and sauna. Very nice and large room. Everything was very clean and tidy. The location is not great, there are pretty much nothing to do or see in downtown Buffalo. We chosed this hotel because of its location in relation to HSBC Arena. If you choose to stay here, take the bus […] or train 10-15 min north, to Elmwood. That neighbourhood is really nice. We ordered breakfast to our room our last morning. Unfortunately, the breakfast did not arrive. When we called the room service, they claimed that they had been "to busy" to process our order, however without telling us so. The room service staff was rude and not helpful at all. However, the have the sweetest staff at the restaurant. We talked to them about our missed breakfast, and got their breakfast buffet for free. This made us of course very happy, and even more satisfied with our stay. Les mer
