We only stayed for a night and everything went as planned. The air conditioning could be better.

Very close to airport. Very nice decor and helpful staff. Room service selection was great and food tasted wonderful. Prices fair for what you get. We only spent a few hours there due to our late arrival and early departure; would have liked to had extra time to spend in the very comfy room!

This hotel was a pleasant surprise. It was very close to the airport and is perfect if you are needing a short layover in Barcelona. It is located predominately in a business area but we found it easy and cheap to take a bus to City Center to shop. We found that they did have hotel transportation to the airport after we had paid for a taxi to get to […] the hotel. The room was very comfortable and the employees very friendly. If you are staying overnight before a flight you will find the restaurant adequate but over priced. The rooms are large enough and the beds are comfortable.

They had the best transport to and from airport 24 hrs fast and reliable. just make sure to go to the right area to be picked up. MICROBUS AREA I recommend this hotel 100%

We needed a room close to the airport for the last night of our stay in Barcelona and Tryp did not disappoint. The room was sparse, yet clean and comfortable. Front desk staff was polite and helpful. We stay here every time we pass through Barcelona. Free shuttle to and from the airport. Spotless rooms, affordable restaurant in the hotel. Easy access by public bus to downtown (Place Espanya or La Rambla - 1.45 euro each way). The hotel was very handy to the airport and the free shuttle service was excellent. The reception was very helpful and kind. We were a little surprised to find the maintenance a bit lacking. The portable shower line was leaking very badly, the shower head was loose and could not be adjusted, and when we arrived there were long black hairs on the floor […] indicating the cleaning wasn't thorough. I did not care for this hotel. The room they gave me was on the highway. So it was very noisy. Air conditioning in the room did not work. Bed was like sleeping on a cot. No coffee maker in the room either. The restaurant didn't open until 8pm. Which was not good for me since I had to get up at 4:30am to caught a plane. Easy location from Airport and helpful shuttle. I was under the understanding from information on the hotels.com site that breakfast was included and it was not. Bus service to city center, but no clear directions on how and where to get off on return trip.

This hotel was very nice. The transportation from the airport was easy. The breakfast is exceptional and the staff were great.

This hotel is out to make money from ppl who are unfamiliar with barcelona and thought this was the only hotel close to the airport. For the price they charge, the rooms are really poor - standard wise, everything is chargeable. I made a booking for 3 days and stayed 1 night only, left at 7am next day. We have booked 1 night in Tryp Barcelona Aeropuerto in April. The hotel is conveniently located near the Barcelona Airport and they have shuttles to and from Airport (Terminal 1) every 20 minutes at week days and every 30 minutes during the weekend. The room was clean and simple with minimalistic grey / beige furnishing. Bathroom was not large, but […] clean. Breakfast was amazing - buffet with lots of choices for any taste. Hotel is large, modern (atrium, polished surfaces, etc.), and about 10 minutes from airport by hotel shuttle, which runs roughly every 20 minutes during active hours. Rooms comfortable, nicely furnished, with good soundproofing -- standard 4-star quality except that bathroom has liquid soap dispensers rather than bars. This was a nice hotel, very clean & modern. Pretty typical run of the mill, US style hotel. The staff was friendly & efficient. We chose it for our last night in Barcelona as it was near the airport and we had a very early flight the next morning. 5 minutes by bus to Airport good location if you want to stay at the Airport, Hotel bar and restaraunt are bland and designed with a lack of imagination

The hotel is very good in all aspects. Front staff/Room service staff all spoke great english, rooms are very comfortable, food was great and very easy to get to the airport with the regular shuttle service. Overall not a bad thing to say - this hotel ticked all the boxes both times I have stayed.

This hotel is the answer for an early flight! I enjoyed a full day in Barcelona then took a taxi to the hotel for the night. The hotel shuttle (very nice they have one, very nice that it's free) left the hotel at 4am to get me to the airport in plenty of time to catch a 6am flight. The staff is friendly and professional. Clean comfortable room. Friendly and helpful front desk staff. Purchase your breakfast at check-in. A lot more expensive if purchased later. Fortunately, a very good breakfast bar as there are no other eating options in the area.

Hotel was clean and staff were pleasant. The free shuttle to the airport went well. This is stricktly a layover hotel for the airport as there are no shops or sights to see within a close proximity. I would have given it higher marks if the shower had had hot water in the morning. Taking a cold shower was not pleasant.

we had a late flight and we were really pleased with the family room as there was a dividing wall giving us all some privacy-the staff were very helpful and breakfast very good-an excellent standard!!

See above remarks. Very spacious room. Restaurant had good food for both breakfast and dinner. Wireless did cost money but it was available.

I had to make a brief stop in Barcelona to pick up last minute supplies for a cycling trip through the Pyrenees. This hotel was perfect for me because I was able to get settled into my room quickly soon after landing and head into town to go shopping. There is a free shuttle to and from the airport and just about a block away from the hotel is a bus […] that takes you to central Barcelona for real cheap. It was very convenient because I was able to take the train back to the airport and catch the shuttle back to my hotel. I would recommend this hotel for anyone with a short layover in Barcelona. Close to airport with convenient shuttle service. Had problems with room. First one smelled like sewer gas, second one was told AC was changing over to heat so no AC and room was hot and on road side. Changed to back side so could open window. Restaurant service and food mediocre. Not close to anything so confined to hotel food unless you shuttle back […] to airport. Good for overnight with connecting flights. Hotel staff very accomodating which made stay more pleasant. Room showers are great for people over 6 ft. tall. Saw on hotel sign upon entering that one star was removed. Les mer

I have stayed at a couple Barcelona Airport hotels. The Tryp was the best balance of value and quality. The breakfast (extra charge in my very low rate) was very good.

The people were helpful and the place was clean, even though it was rather stark or is that what they call modern? There is nothing around the hotel of interest so to see anything in town use the bus if you don't want to pay for a taxi which would be $12 euros one way. Just remember to tell the bus driver that you need the Tryp Hotel stop when you return […] or they won't stop! Les mer

Not convenient to airport or city centre

This hotel is excellent for those who need to be near Barcelona Airport. For me, it was ideal as I was training at the Sanchez-Casal- Academy, a short walk from the hotel. It is also very convenient for the beaches at Casteldelfels, only a short bus trip on the local buses.

The hotel was very near to the airport and the room was beyond my expectation, very good. The lobby was very nice and thye staff was very courteous. The restaurant was excellent. Our stay was quite nice. I really recommend this hotel.

Staff very helpfull,close to bus service to downtown,free shuttle to airport

If you need a good place to stay when you are travelling to Barcelona, this hotel can absolutely be recommended. The rooms are big and clean. They also had good service and there was transport from the hotel to the airport early in the morning.

This hotel is in a terrible location, even our taxi driver had no idea where we were going to. It is easily accessible to the airport. The rooms are nice, new, and clean, and there is Shampoo/Shower gel and handsoap in the bathroom. The biggest problem with this hotel is that there is nowhere to eat within walking distance. There is a gas station with […] some snack food and it has a small 'cafe' which was not open at 5pm on a saturday evening. The only other problem I had was with the shuttle. I went to the airport, to take the train into the city which worked out well. I asked the shuttle driver when he dropped me off at the airport where i would get picked up, and he said the same location. So when I came back to the airport I waited in that location for about an hour, no shuttle bus in sight. I finally went in and asked around and they told me to go downstairs. I waited at another shuttle bus location for another half hour. I went back in and finally someone told me i had to go behind the parking lot. When i went back there the shuttle bus had come within ten minutes. It would have worked out much better had the first shuttle driver given me the correct info. I waited almost 2 hours. Other than that, the hotel itself is very nice. The lobby and rooms seem new. There is not free internet here and you cannot rent a power converter. The shuttle is convenient and we requested it very early in the morning (4am) for our early flight. The best reason to stay at this hotel is if you have a layover in barcelona where you are just going to and from the airport. Les mer

Positive's -Nice modern hotel -Quiet -Very close to airport and bus station to take you back into downtown -Did have a free minibar, but no food in it Negative's -No hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, or lotion in bathroom -Ask for Shuttle times at check in or ask to schedule a shuttle. I was told to show up 10 minutes before I needed to leave, so when […] we showed up, the shuttle bus had just left...no one told me there were specific shuttle times. So we had to wait another 30 mins till the next one showed. -Internet service is EXPENSIVE. $5 American for 30 minutes. -Need to be an electrician to work the AC unit. -Out of coffee at the reception area at 5 am. We stayed at the airport hotel since we had a 6am flight. They had a free shuttle that took us to the airport at 4am, which was great. The Tryp is very plain but nice. Reminded us of IKEA. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The only bad thing is the smell in the lobby.

The room was permiated with a rotten eggs or sewer gas smell coming from the bathroom. The smell dispered to some extent with the window open. Except for the smell, the room was clean and well maintained. The desk clerk was one of the nicest and most helpful desk clerks ever encountered any where.

The hotel was wonderful for the purpose of our stay. We were looking for a hotel close to the airport with a shuttle since we had an early morning flight. It was not near anything but the rooms were immaculate and bed really comfy. We did not eat there but others said the food was good. There was a bustop one block away which you could go into Barcelona […] for 1.35 euros. Have to watch when the buses stop running however. I would not recommend it for a prolonged stay in Barcelona as it was too far from the action and there are equally nice hotels right in Barcelona, but that would be the only reason not to stay there. It is a great place for staying overnight prior to transferring to a hotel in the city. Room is clean and bed is very comfort. Pick-up service is excellent. We arrived at midnight and called the hotel. The hotel provided free pick-up service in a timely manner. The front dest provided detailed direction for us to take a bus to a hotel in the city. We liked the fact that the hotel was close to the airport. However, when we arrived we had to wait over an hour for the shuttle. We could not control the air conditioner in the room. I ordered the stake sandwich at the restaurant and it was the toughest piece of meet that I ever experienced. The only good thing about this place was the price.
