It was ok for the one night we stayed there. Not the cleanest room, stains on the chair & sofa in the room. The bathroom was the worst! ceiling above shower was peeling from apparent water damage & there was a cracked, loose tile in bathroom too. Toilet & water drain in shower needed to be cleaned/scrubbed badly. Not planning on staying there again […] anytime soon. Les mer

The hotel was very clean, staff was very friendly, breakfast was excellent, rates were reasonable. Hot tub could have been warmer. HBO was advertised to be available, but it was not available. We would return to this hotel again if we needed a place to stay in the same area. Also, not far from restaurants.

Postives were that the hotel was clean, the bathroom was spacious and the shower had great water pressure. The negatives were that the breakfast was cold and the breakfast attendant wasn't the most helpful (boarderline rude). And the furniture could use some updating.

We stayed two nights at the hotel. Even though the lobby was rather small and hall way had some smell, overall It was better than we expected. We had trouble finding that place at first(hotel sign wasn't that visible from the street and we went into the wrong hotel following GPS). Check in was relatively smooth and quick. I was given a room on the third floor. I reserved a one bedroom suite. The bed was ok, but pretty hard. The separate bedroom was nice, but the completely wasted as the bedroom door has clear glass panels that let all the light in from the main sitting area. I could not sleep and tried to be nice and go into […] the sitting area so my wife could sleep undisturbed. The glass door lets all the light in anyway. Kind of dumb on the hotels part. The condition of the room was ok, but it desperately needed some TLC. The shower head pretty much fell off in my hands, the wall paper was peeling off the wall and the towels were very old and dingy looking. The A/C was tempermental and was not working right. There was a combination of sweating and freezing multiple times throughout the night. Overall, the hotel was ok, but it really should have been better. Les mer

We stayed in Tucson for a week and the hotel was great. Our first night, the coffee maker didn't work but they got us a different one right away. The housekeeping staff was super friendly and helpful and our check-in and out went smoothly. My only complaint is that the hot tub was closed for repair. Otherwise a clean, well kept hotel. This location was $40 less than the downtown Country Inn, so we grabbed it. The breakfast was good, and the cucumber or orange water cooler in the lobby was a hit with our family after drinking various not so great tasting tap waters on our long trip!

Comfortable and affordable. Older hotel that needs rooms updated.

We stayed overnight with the kids for a BMX state race. The location was convenient and between the two tracks. The room was clean, beds comfortable. I was very happy with how quiet it was. We were on the 3rd floor (top) so no footsteps over our heads. We all had a great HOT breakfast in the morning. The weather was cool, but the heated pool and hot […] tub felt great. Although I didn't stay at the room, I did book it, checked a friend in and did visit the room. The service was cheerful, the hotel seemed like it is fairly new (and clean). The room looked in very good (and new) order.

I loved your hotel and will use it again when traveling. Never discovered you before! Everything was state of the art, plus homey! Staff wonderful, food great, pool and hot tub great, room great - everything. Keep up the fantastic work! And, you make it so affordable too!

We were told that the pool and spa were locked by maintenance on Sunday.....as we wanted to use the spa. We were disappointed as use of pool and spa were part of the reason we chose your motel

We chose this hotel based on hotels.com user ratings and were not disappointed with the facility. The hotel was inexpensive, clean and quiet. We were a little surprised that the hotel would not make any changes since we booked through an online service. We booked a room for five people but they won't give you a room that truly sleeps five unless you […] book directly with them. So we were stuck with two beds and no sleeper sofa. Les mer

Friendly staff at country inn & suites. The room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. Good location Right next to the Airport and close to I-10. Overall this is a good place to stay in.

I was traveling with an individual with mobility difficulties, upon arrival found out that they had put us on the second floor. The front desk person switched us to a ground floor room very near a fire exit. The service was excellent and the included breakfast was very good. I wish that the pool had been heated and that the hot tub had worked (it was […] neither hot nor "whirlpool" bubbly in nature), although it was warmer than the outdoor pool. They were training new maids and the cleaning quality was not consistent. Les mer

We were very pleased to stay at your hotel for our mother/daughter get away. My daughter , her best friend and mother and I stayed in a one bedroom suite. We were very pleased with our stay. The full breakfast n the morning was great. The only complaint was that the hot tub did not seem to be hot enough. I figure it was about 100 instead of 104.

Hotel smelled awful on all floors. I am a non smoker and so was my room however it smelled like smoke. I could also smell smoke coming through my room at times. Service was not that great either. I will not stay there again.

We did a late arrival, but check in was quick and nice. Full breakfast in the morning was very good. I had a little trouble with the coffee maker in the bedroom, but not a big deal. Room was spacious and the bathroom very spacious. I definetly think it's good value for the money. Congratulations to the team.

I have stayed here a total of 3 times. I did have a problem on the 3rd visit with an inop toilet but was quickly moved to another suite. The hotel staff here are wonderful.

We stayed at the hotel due to an early morning flight out. The room and attendants were fine, but we encountered an issue with the shuttle to the airport. The driver apparently wasn't available, even though we had given ample notice of our timeline. The desk clerk said she would have to take us, which was fine and we made it just fine. It was just a […] little unnerving that she said the driver wouldn't be there for 20 minutes and we did not have that time to spare. Les mer

Nice location. Great breakfasts. Pleasant staff. Swimming pool very cold despite 90 plus days. Unfortunately not many nearby restaurants that work for a family.

The cookies are great!!! The hotel not so great. We got the wrong room(smoking instead of non-smoking), I went down stairs to request a change, because nobody answered the phone when I called the front desk. There were 4 people waiting in the lobby for someone to come to the front desk. After a 10-15 minute wait, they decided to go across the street […] to the Holiday Inn. We got our room changed and everything seemed fine, until the plumbing stopped working. The woman on duty for the weekend was terrfic, I don't remember her name, but she did everything possible to remedy the situation. The plumbing continued to be a problem and I called late one night for help, my calls kept going to a recording. We were again offered another room, but since we were checking out the next morning, we just wanted to have the toilet unstopped. I would not stay at The Country Inn & Suites again, nor would I recommend it to others. This site has major front desk problems, the plumbing needs work and the pool was closed...but the cookies were great!!! Les mer

When checking in the gentleman at front desk wanted to put me in a room with a king size. Because since I had 2 kids I needed to stay on 1st floor. We've stayed at many hotels and have never been told this! When we got to our room. it was nothing to the description of your hotel notes and pictures on your web.When I asked. Nice clean rooms, bed was very comfortable, convenient to freeways for easy access to the local sights. Breakfast was very good, waffles, scrambled eggs, potatoes and bacon, with the usual cereal, pastries, yogurt and fruit. I would definitely stay there again.

Arrived a day early, able to get room & not have to move the next day. Had to pay regular room charge for the 1 nite. Was close to sites we wanted to visit. Employees very nice. Breakfast attendant not very attenttive, everyday had to ask her to get something that she ran out of,(ie plates, coffee cups, syrup,waffle batter, potatoes, reg. coffee). Close […] to airport, but noise NOT a problem. Enjoyed watching the millitary jets, helicopters only 1x while there for 3 days. Definately would stay there again. Les mer

I wasn't happy with my two night stay. Unfortunately the doors of the hotel were loud. So when my neighbor let their door slam my room would shake & it sounded like it was my room. At night it was very annoying. Plus they kept running out of food for breakfast & the plastic utensils were dirty. I had to search for a clean one to use. The hotel was a little hard to find, was off the main road with no signs to find it. Staff was friendly and helpful. Only issue with room was the toilet didn't really flush, took several trys before it would go.

Great place to stay for the money. Breakfast was much more than I expected for a motel in this price range. Staff was very friendly, outdoor pool was heated, and bed was comfortable.

The hotel served its purpose...quiet room, friendly service, reliable free wifi, and decent free full breakfast. Room carpets could have been cleaner, but so could all hotel room carpets. No real complaints. Would recommend it to anyone looking for value in the area.

This hotel was OK. They have a good breakfast and the rooms were clean. They also have some nice snacks and books you can check out. My only complaint was that I set aside a non smoking room and was given a smoking room which was fairly unpleasant, luckily it was warm enough to leave the window open and air it out.

This is a wonderful place to stay near the airport. The people at the front desk were wonderful as were the rest of the staff we encountered. We would recommend it to anyone staying in the southern end of Tucson.

It's nice, clean and the staff is helpful and friendly. Other than the sofa bed getting stuck, it was a pleasant experience. The breakfast buffet is Awesome! The pool and spa are sparkling, I just wish i would have packed swimming trunks, Lol. All in all it was a good stay.

We checked into our room at about 11pm. The air conditioner had obviously been blasting for many hours, and the whole room felt like a refrigerator. We turned off the AC and switched on the heat, but that wasn't working. So we called down to the desk. In about 10 minutes, there was a knock on our door and a hotel employee told us we could move into […] the room next door. This second room was pretty cold too, but the heater in it worked fine and soon we were plenty warm. Other than that, everything was great about our stay. The staff was friendly and helpful., our room was very clean, and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was even a bit better than I've come to expect for hotels in this price range -- not great mind you, but with a lot more variety than you usually get at these free breakfasts. If you're planning on hanging out primarily in downtown Tuscon during you stay, this location isn't the greatest. It's not all that far as the crow flies, but we had to take a pretty circuitous route to get from downtown to the hotel, and it took much longer than we were expecting. That's not the hotel's fault of course, just something to think about if you're planning a trip to Tuscon. Les mer

Our stay was fine. Our one and only complaint was the slamming door noise. Every time someone came or left the door slammed so hard it shook the floor. It seemed excessive and very preventable. The breakfast was nice and the room was comfortable.
