"convenient to our needs"
We were down for a neice's wedding at Winterplace Ski Resort. Motel was only 15-20 minutes away on the interstate. I also am a dialysis patient and my dialysis treatment facility was only 3 minutes from motel. The rehearsal dinner was just across the interstate, one minute away. Many restaurants and convenient business close by. Plus the motel is back […] off Harper Rd. so it is quiet and you don't here the interstate traffic. The beds were plush and very comfortable. The convenience of a refrigerator and microwave in the rooms are also an extra bonus. We have stayed at this motel twice and will stay again. Les mer
"Great bang for the buck!"
First time in a Microtel, I will definitely seek them out again for road trip travel. Very clean room, friendly service, good continental breakfast, can't beat it for the price.
"The Microtel Hotel in Beckley WV"
The hotel personnel were very attentive and friendly. Our room was very clean. As a woman, we always look for a clean bathroom and ours was spotless. It would be nice to have an easy chair to sit in to read but I realize that the size of the room woundn't accommodate one.

"Very good for the money"
It is what it is --- a micro hotel. Small but comfortable room for two. The bed (slightly smaller than a queen), TV, bathroom were sufficient and the room was clean and comfortable. The overall hotel was clean but aging (need updating, ie rugs and painting). Staff was helpful and friendly. Would recommend for a one to two night stay. "Too much, Too little"
The room was so small, no coffee pot, pillows uncomfortable,. and a small TV on top of the highboy. For the price I have had a room I could walk around in. a large screen TV. I will say the room was clean, but that is all I can say. The complimentary breakfast was nothing to be excited about. There was a $25.00 pet fee that was higher than most hotel/motel, […] in fact many do not charge a fee. I have a 5.5 lb well trained dog and I found that price way out of line. I would not recommend this hotel, because for the price I can get much better. I travel frequently so am experienced with hotels/motels. Les mer
"Price Was Right"
Small room (and TV), but quite comfortable and very conveniently located just off I-64 on our way to the Eastern Shore. Complimentary continental breakfast made for a quick start in the morning. Free Internet access was also a plus. Price definitely made it a bargain!

"Improvements"
The man that checked us in has no personality. The room smelled of urine, the toilet paper is no where near the toilet, no coffee pot in room. They say complimentary breakfest, wrong... It's just coffee, juice, & muffins. The room is smaller then my closet.

This place was very clean and very friendly. Staff was very helpful and accommodating. Would highly recommend.
"First rate at a reasonable price"
We were completely satisfied with our stay at the Beckley, WV Microtel. Our room contained everything we needed and was very clean nd odor-free. The bed linens and towels were also clean and fresh. Timing prevented us from partaking in the continental breakfast. We will plan to stay at Microtel in the future.
"Well-worth it....Euro style hotel."
Great, clean, well-designed room for the money. Not a lot of extra-space but very efficient layout. Indoor pool and sauna up to standards. My dog was also pleased with the sizable area to run in behind he hotel.

This is our third visit to the Beckley Microtel. Still impressed with service and comfort.
"Reasonable priced hotel with friendly staff"
The staff at Microtel were very friendly. I accidentally left behind a pillow on my way to vacation, and they were very nice about it and held it for me until I traveled through the area again. Very convenient location. The room was small, but clean. I would stay there again.
