This hotel was a very pleasant surprise with a refrigerator and microwave in the room, broadband internet, and a full breakfast including scrambled eggs and corned beef hash as well as all of the standard rolls, cereal, fruits, juices, etc. Extremely helpful and courteous staff. This was a very clean hotel. Just a simple hotel. The owners obviously have a lot of pride in their building.

My husband and I stopped just to sleep on a long car trip. The woman checking us in was very polite and kind. The room was neat and clean--nothing fancy but updated comfortably. The breakfast was homemade and a pleasant surprise.

Easy access to I35. Clean and comfortable ro.om. Very freindly staff

The room was nice and Clean. Maintenance seemed to be OK. The carpet seemed to be older and stained but not smelly like older carpets are. I was surprised to find that there were no heavy blankets on the bed in December. The shower shown in the picture was not the same as the one in our room. I have mixed feelings about my stay. The hotel was updated and the linens were very nice. However the floor was carpeted and lumpy (uneven). All other fixtures were normal hotel fare. We went to the free breakfast expecting the normal cereal and stale danishes especially since it was thanksgiving day. What we found was a freshly baked made from scratch […] breakfast casserole that was hot and yummy! The front desk clerk was quite welcoming. I wish the room doors faced the inside of the hotel for security reasons and for that reason may not be back. We shall see. Les mer

The Acorn was very nice, convenient, friendly service, affordable, and clean.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Accommodations were excellent and at a reasonable price. They offered a full breakfast until 10 am. As soon as we walked in this room, we were greeted by a friendly manager who personally cooked us fresh eggs and sausages. Also offered were: home cooked waffles, yogurt, several different kinds of bread for […] toast, english muffins, pastry, bagles, 5 different kinds of cold cereal, several flavors of hot oatmeal cereal and fresh fruit. While we were eating this manager later went around to the tables to serve hot coffee. We were pleasantly surprised with the service and the general condition of the motel. Les mer

We were traveling and knew this area was where we needed to stop for the night. This is an older hotel, but it was very comfortable except we did have some difficulty figuring out the heat/cooling system. We thought it was a bit confusing. But... this has got to be one of the cleanest hotels I have ever stayed in and that is very important.

I enjoyed our stay at the Acorn Inn. The room was clean and updated, the bed was comfortable and the breakfeast in the morning was very good. I will definitely make future reservations here! Thank you.

This is a wonderful motel. We have stayed here often and have never been disappointed. The staff really care about your comfort. This time I noticed that they have expanded the breakfast, offering not just a satisfying continental style, but also sausage, eggs, waffles and a comfortable room to eat in with a very large television. We were able to check […] in when we arrived at 11:30 in the morning. I like the fact that if the room is ready, you can go ahead and check in. Wonderful gardens to wander through.
