BEST WESTERN PLUS HIBISCUS MTL - Key West

Vi ble gledelig overrasket når vi kom til hotellet og fikk se hvilken standard den hadde. Rommet var stort, rent og innbydende. Bassengområdet var tiltalende og avskjermet fra trafikk. Det var kort vei til gamle sentrum og kafeer og uteliv. Dette hotellet kan anbefales på det varmeste!

Utrolig trivelig hotell, med fine rom, store senger, rent og pent. Bassengområdet er meget flott. Kort vei til hovedgaten, der det ligger mange butikker, spisesteder og puber. Vi hadde to vidunderlige dager på Key West:)

After searching through the different hotels at Key West, this was by far the hotel with the lowest price and the standard and quality of the hotel was perfect. I would recomend the hotel to everyone that wants to have both a quick visit and a longer visit in Key West.

Bra hotell med svært hyggelig betjening. Rent og stort rom, kjøleskap og mikroovn, ismaskin utenfor. Gratis parkering utenfor hotellet. Kort vei til sykkelutleie og til Duval Street. Greit uteområde med bra basseng. Ingenting negativt. Kommer gjerne tilbake.

Veldig godt fornøyd med rommene og beliggenheten. Det som trekker ned er at vi ikke fikk beskjed om at badebassenget var ute av drift grunnet ombygging, så det var mye byggestøy rett utenfor rommet. Mye av årsaken til valget av det hotellet var nettopp badebassenget og at vi bestilte med utsikten til dette. Dessuten fikk vi ikke vite dette før etter […] at vi hadde skrevet under ved innsjekking, da hadde vi muligens kanselert hele bestillingen og valgt et annet hotell som hadde badebasseng. Selv om vi fikk noe redusert pris (- 40 $), synes vi ikke dette veide opp støyen og mangelen på badebasseng. Les mer

Hotellets beliggenhet er perfekt, like ved Duval St., men likevel i rolige omgivelser. Det har store, komfortable rom med vannkoker, kjøleskap, safe og ekstra badehåndduker til poolen. Poolen er stor og deilig, med solsenger og parasoller, og i tillegg er det plantet palmer og blomster rundt den. Parkeringsplass ved rommet. Alt var som forventet. Rommet var rent og ryddigt, både på bad og ellers. Finner intet negativt å fortelle om dette opphold, veldigt sentralt, har kun ellers denne ene natt her å fortelle om, stille og roligt kvarter slik jeg opplevde det. Pris og alt stemte, grei frokost a la Usa. Besides the overall rating, I found the front desk staff unfriendly... Anyway, my staying in this hotel was very comfortable. the amennities were ok, and the location excellent!! As I said in the title review: why no welcome rewards??

An excellent hotel in an excelent location at Key West. Our room was immaculate and we really enjoyed our stay there. The location too was excellent, just a short walk away from the famous Duval St and within easy walking distance of all the major facilities. We stayed there as part of a driving tour from Charlotte NC to Key West and back and although […] we enjoyed it it must be said that it was quite expensive, and generally we found Key West to be one of the most expensive places we visited. Loved Key West. This was a very good location. Had to walk a mile or so to all the madness on Duval Street, but that was a good thing, really. Hotel is surprisingly nice, great pool, very clean, very nice rooms. Staff at checkin was a little put off at first but warmed up to be sufficiently friendly overall. The Hibiscus was a clean and comfortable stop for our two nights in Key West. Only real complaint is our particular room (107) is located off the tunnel leading to the pool courtyard and, as a result, the window was in the tunnel too. Very dark room. The hotel, which was booked well inadvance of the visit, provided a central base to explore Key West, in particular Duval Street and the southern shore line - the best way, on foot. We spent two wonderful days at Key West. Accomodations were greeat. The site is worthwhile visiting, food was good. Very relaxing trip.

We LOVED our stay at this hotel. The bed was super comfortable, we were able to set the room temperature as low as we like it, everything was very clean and nice. They have a continental breakfast which changes daily and we enjoyed that. The only downside is that it's very crowded at 9:30 am. I would recommend going early. It's a 20+ minute walk to […] the good side of Duval street with all the popular bars and things to do, but it really wasn't too bad. Our party of 6 retired friends enjoyed it tremendously. The pool water was very warm and inviting, and the courtyard was fantastic to sit around and relax. The rooms were very spacious and the beds were comfortable. The continental breakfast was great. We parked our car and walked everywhere which was very convenient. We had an excellent time. I chose this hotel because it was farther away from the bar scene. One time four young men came in at about 3:30 A.M. making quite a bit of noise. The hotel personnel talked to them and the problem was solved. The next time I travel to Key West I will try to stay there again.

The hotel is in an excellent location, just a few blocks from Duval Street, the southern-most point and the Hemingway House. It's also just a 20 minute walk from the Key West Ferry Terminal. The hotel was clean and comfortable with a nice pool and in-room fridge, freezer and coffee machine. Clean, neat room, quaint, STEPS from the pool. Plenty of room for 2, decent size bathroom with additional vanity. Beds were comfortable and well dressed. Walking distance to Duvall and all else. Very reasonably priced, exceeded our expectation of a budget priced inn. Check out isnt until 11, so go have some fun!!

Room was very confy and big. Shower was nice and everything was way more than i expected for the reasonable price. Walking distance to everything and free breakfast was great.

everything was great except the credit card billing process. on their website it says that your credit card will not be billed until you arrive. they billed my visa card on the day i booked the room. when we checked out the way they arrived at the total price was hard to figure out. it took a phone call to them to figure it out. that process might have […] me book another hotel on another visit to key west. We were more than happy with this hotel. The whole place is so clean and tidy, shows that the management really care about their guests experience. The location is nice and quiet but still within easy walking distance of the busy end of Duval Street.

I really enjoyed our stay here. Close enough to walk to most things but far enough away from the hustle and bustle. The breakfast at the Hotel is like a feeding frenzy! We ate out most days.

Somewhat pricey, but one of the better options for Key West. Front desk staff is a bit jaded and offered the bare minimum required by their job. Watch out for extra fees and taxes. There was a surprise $25.99 charge on my card.

We spent one night there, close to Duval street but quiet. Cute little pool with palm trees and some chairs around. We had our breakfast out there. Rooms look very nice and are pretty big with two sinks :-) We liked the place a lot and I wish we could have stayed longer.

We enjoyed the visit immensly. The BW Hibiscus was clean, well maintained, comfortable and the price was reasonable. The hotel is right in the middle of the old town area and the sights were within walking distance, Hemmingway House, The Light House, The Southernmost point in the USA, and Duval Street were all close by.

Location was great . . . beach was only a few blocks south. Duvall Street was one block west. Good to excellent restaurants everywhere! We would definitely go back to Best Western Plus Hibiscus and recommend it to friends.

don't let the outside fool you. the rooms are super cute and clean. the only complaint I have about this place is that it was a bit further from the night life on Duval st. Other than that, overall, great place and I would definitely recommend it.

This hotel has been nicely renovated, is quiet and very clean. The room was big, comfortable and well equiped with a fridge, microwave and coffee machine. We didn't have a view of the pool as our room was near the end of the block and looked over the side car park. The breakfast was very good but my main criticism is the breakfast room is far too small […] for the size of the property, we had to return to our room and go back later when it was less busy. Also, I paid for the first night months ago on Hotels.com with a credit card but didn't take this card on holiday with me so offered another card to make the payment for the rest of the booking but apparently this was not possible. I had to get a refund for the first night to the first card and charge the whole booking to the second card. Les mer

We were very happy with the hotel--it was fresh and clean-- and the proximity to the downtown area and the events. Also close to good restaurants and to the water. Good continental breakfast. Comfortable beds! We couldn't have been happier!
