The best aspect of this hotel is the proximity to the green metro station Zelivskeho. A number of trams and buses are available directly outside the hotel front door. The room was spacious and well designed. The breakfast, included in the price, was excellent. I did not have a room with free internet. The cost for 24 hours was 10 euro. The downstairs […] bar seemed popular. This hotel seemed to cater to groups. I paid $73 per night for my room. One minor negative was the carpeting. It was a bit worn, but this is a minor point. I got to the location and all they could give me was Smoking rooms. After fussing a little they coughed up a non-Smoking room. The staff could use some training in customer service. It was at 11:30 at night and just one customer in front of me and 3 workers behind the counter. It still took them 10 mins. to acknowledge that I was standing there with […] my wife and bags. No hello, no hi, not even - give is a few minutes Sir. They are not rude, just not courteous. Worst mattress to sleep on. Reminded me of cheap dorm mattresses. For American's touring Prague, I would have gone for a place closer to the city. We missed canceling this hotel by a few hours, else I could have gone downtown. Will I stay here again - may be, if I really have to. It seemed like a hotel for local folks. On the plus side, the commute isn't horrible. The metro stop is a 30s walk, just behind the hotel. I was expecting a 4-star level Hilton and its not that. Its a nicer Motel 6 kinda place. Les mer

Hotel is in a very isolated location. No places to eat nearby. Hotel coffeeshop was understaffed so it was unable to meet reasonable demand for services. Long waits for food during peak periods. Often no bartender was available at the bar. Hotel offers very obsolete computers for guest usage. Windows XP operating system (10 years old and very slow). […] Other guests told us the available wireless internet for PC's was inadequate. Bathtubs are old with slippery bottoms, no grab bars. A member of our party fell in one. Duvets on beds were small, didn't tuck in. Hotel provides services for tour groups and conventions -- private travelers get inferior service. Les mer

Good location, 10mn from downtown by tram. Bedrooms correct. Breakfast correct in a huge room with 150 people together. A swimming pool. A very large hotel which receives groups of tour operators.

We spent just 1 night in the this hotel, but I would recommend this hotel to everyone. Hotel is close to the subway which takes only 3-4 stops to the city center. Hotel is very big in old design, little bit old condition, but rooms are big and they have everything you need in good condition. Breakfast were great, lots of different tasty food.

The Don Giovani is an excellent hotel, all in all, and when you figure in the price, it just excels. As a business traveler spending 4 days a week on the road, I know that hotels like the Don Giovani are rare. The metro station is right in front of it. It takes 3 stations to get to downtown in 10 minutes. The building can be seen from far away so you can also travel by tram without getting lost. The only downside is that wireless internet is not free and you have to pay for a 24 hours code in order to get it in your room. There are two computers in the lobby […] with free internet access though. Esther in the bar has a nice smile. I will be definitely going back to Prague and to this hotel. Les mer

Staff were very friendly and extra pillows were no problem. On 10th floor with great view of Prague - but oh the noise from the trams and cars - something wrong with their double glazing I think!

This hotel is a bit out of the City, but a very easy commute by the Metro which is just outside the door! Quiet and well run - we met our group here after three days on our own. Many travel groups stay here. Nice breakfast buffet and you can dine at the hotel. Walking or Metro distance to the Flora hugh shopping Mall. Six stops to Old Town. ENJOY!

Great hotel, the price was good. It is a bit far fron downtown but the metro station is 100 meters away, it takes a few minutes to get anywhere in the city. The room was very spacious and clean. The only thing i did not like was that they don't have any internet in the upper floors. In the lobby you have to buy a very expensive code to access the net. […] A hotel of this categorie should have internet in the room and free. Definetely would stay again. Les mer

Clean and nice. Very comfortable, lots of plilows, European style bedding. Even tough Hotel.com said breakfast was not included, they included it. The concierge was particularly helpful with little problems I had. She was quite fluent in English and German, and seemed to be there long hours. The dinner restaurant was actually quite nice and reasonably […] priced though apparently not terribly popular. I liked the salad bar and appetizers that came with the dinner. The bar was open till 1 AM with good food available. I had to leave at 4 AM the morning I left, and the cab was watiing. There weren't a whole lot of English channels on the TV, but maybe that was Prague. The one thing that surprised me was how high the tub was off the floor. It was a long step down. The location was right at a metro, two stops from downtown concert theatres. There wasn't much close to the hotel, but the subway was just pennies to anywhere. Les mer

Prettig hotel, pal aan metro en tram (geen overlast). Hotelkamer inderdaad warm maar aan receptie kun je vragen of house keeping raam helemaal open houdt. Tip; wisselkoers banken/pinautomaten in de stad aanzienlijk beter dan op vliegveld. Scheelde bij ons 5%. Bus 119 rijdt naar metro (groene lijn A) Geen buskaartjes in bus dus zorg voor 50 kronen muntgeld […] per persoon. (Automaat bij halte). Les mer

Hyggeligt hotel i et godt område. Ligger klods op af metroen så det er nemt og hurtigt at komme ind til byen. Lækker stor morgenmadsbuffe og et stort rent værelse. Venligt og hjælsomt personale.

The surcharge for executive rooms isn't worth the money. Internet connection frequently didn't work, and the signal strength in the room was very bad. The breakfast was mediocre. On the positive side, the subway stop is very close to the hotel, and it doesn't take too much time to reach the city center by subway.

Ubicato un po' lontano dal centro vicino ad un cimitero (raggiungibile pero' facilmente con la metropolitana accanto all'hotel). Stanze un po' vintage ma silenziose. Bagni in ordine, anche se i dosatori per lo shampoo al posto delle boccettine non si addicono ad un 4 stelle. Pessima la connessione internet wifi (a pagamento), funzionante a singhiozzo […] durante tutta la permanenza. Pessima anche la scarna colazione senza servizio e con poca scelta. Les mer

Well, everything was quite alright. The only thing I could complain about is that the air-conditioning was not working properly. I mean, it was hot indeed inside of the hotel and I just wanted to lower the temperature in my room but I was simply unable to do this. Anyway, I can recommend this hotel to you! 4,5/5

L'hotel si trova nei pressi del cimitero Olšany, magari a qualcuno tale ubicazione potrebbe non andare perfettamente a genio ma a me, personalmente, non ha dato alcun fastidio. Anzi, in questo modo ho potuto particolarmente apprezzare il quartiere di Nové Město, pieno di splendidi edifici Jugendstil e meno "preso d'assalto" dai turisti. Senza dimenticare […] che grazie alla stazione della metropolitana di Želivského, situata a pochi metri dall'albergo si arriva comodissimamente e in pochi minuti sia in Piazza S. Venceslao, sia a Staré Město, Malá Strana e Hradčany. Sono stato molto soddisfatto sia del trattamento in albergo, sia della qualità della colazione e della pulizia generale. Unico aspetto per me non ideale il fatto che la connessione a Internet in camera fosse a pagamento... in compenso al pianterreno ci sono due cabine con postazione pc dove è possibile navigare gratis quanto si vuole. Nonostante il notevole numero di ospiti dell'albergo, ho sempre trovato almeno una delle due cabine libera, senza necessità di aspettare. In generale non posso che consigliare questo hotel, sebbene ritenga che potrebbe non essere l'indirizzo più indicato per chi cerchi un'atmosfera raccolta, considerate le notevoli capienza e affluenza di ospiti. Das Zimmer ist nicht groß. Es gibt keinen Kleiderschrank, nur öffene Regale. Im Badezimmer gibt es nur Seifenspender, sonst keine andere Kosmetikartikel, wie Duschhaube usw. Für 4* Hotel erwarte ich mehr komfort. Wir sind am 01.01. ausgecheckt. Wir hätten gerne später als 12 Uhr ausgescheckt, aber die Rezeption gibt uns nur bis 12 Uhr, keine Minute […] länger, obwohl das Hotel nicht ausgebucht ist. Frühstück ist sehr gut. Die Lage ist auch super. U-Bahn Station ist nur 2 min. zu Fuß. Les mer

Das Don Giovanni liegt direkt an der U-Bahn-Haltestelle, bei der die U-Bahn fährt, die an allen wichtigen Sehenwürdigkeiten vorbeifährt. Daher habe ich die Lage als gut bewertet, obwohl das Hotel etwas vom Zentrum entfernt liegt. Das Zimmer ist zweckmäßig eingerichtet, die Betten groß. Die Couch etwas schmuddelig, ansonsten schien die restliche Einrichtung […] neu. Hervorheben möchte ich die Rezeption. Hier war man stets freundlich und sehr auskunftfreudig. Insgesamt ist es passabel, es gibt jedoch zwei Kritikpunkte: - das Hotel war völlig überheizt, was neben der unangenehm hohen Temperatur auch schlechte Luft zur Folge hatte. - das Frühstück ist ziemlich klein und unorganisiert. Es fehlt grundsätzlich an Geschirr, das Personal kommt nicht hinterher und es ist auf Grund des eher kleinen Raumes stets überfüllt, laut und eng. Doch alles in allem reicht dieses Hotel für einen Städtetrip völlig aus. Les mer

Hotelzimmer ist sauber und gut gelegen. Die Metrostation ist vor der Haustür und ca. 10 min. Fahrt von den meisten Sehenswürdigkeiten. Leider ist WLAN nur gegen Gebühr zu bekommen.

Store flotte værelser - men det trækker ned at hotellet åbenbart ofte har mange store grupper fra f.eks. USA , Japan , Kina m.v. Der er to restauranter, men den ene er kun for grupper - overraskende dyr restaurant. Der kan også spises i den store lobby-bar , men til høje priser efter tjekkiske forhold.

日本のビジネスホテルぐらいの料金でしたが、駅から近いし部屋は広いしきれいだし バスタブもついてますし、プラハに行く用事があったらまた泊まりたいです。 お風呂に入ろうと思ってお湯をためていたのですが、途中疲れて眠ってしまいましたが お湯は溢れず、ちゃんととまっていたのに感動！（これはホテルの常識かもしれませんが） 気になった所は、宿泊慣れしていないせいか、ホテルのカードキーの使い方がよくわからず、ドアの前で開かずにおたおたしました。カードを奥迄入れたらサッと引きだして、開くタイプでした。

Hotellet ligger en bit från centrum men alldeles intill både metro, spårvagns- och busshållplatser. Fantastisk service och trevlig personal. Nackdel: i anslutning till reception och matsal fanns en bar där rökning var tillåtet. Man var tvungen att passera förbi/genom baren för att komma till både reception och matsal. Verkar inte vara anpassat till […] EU-direktiv om rökning på allmänna platser. Les mer
