Rolig og hyggelig strøk/gate. Like ved gamlebyen og Akropolis. Hyggelig personale. Deilig frokost. Vil velge det samme hotellet en annen gang.

Koselig hotell,med hyggelige ansatte. Veldig sentralt ,samtidig var det stille og rolig. Alt i alt hyggelige dager i Aten:-)

Jeg hadde ikke trodd det var mulig å få et så bra hotellrom sentralt i Athen til en såvidt rimelig pris. Service og generell standard var meget god. Frokosten opplevde jeg som rikholdig og velsmakende - riktig som en god start på fine Athen-dager.

Vi var en langweekend i Athen og er veldig fornøyd med dette hotellet.kjempefin frokost, utmerket beliggenhet,hyggelig pris og alt bare fryd og gammen..Kan trygt anbefales:)

Hyggelig hotell et stenkast unna Akropolis metro- stasjon og Plaka-området i Aten. God komfort og service. Hotellets frokost var variert.

Vi bodde to netter på hotellet i midten av september, og vi var godt fornøyd. Rommet vårt var stort, fredelig og med stor balkong. Frokosten var god, men det jeg særlig vil trekke frem, er betjeningen. De var usedvanlig hyggelige og imøtekommende. Vi hadde avreise på ettermiddagen og hadde sjekket ut, men da jeg spurte om et sted hvor vi kunne skifte […] til reiseklær, ga de meg nøkkel til et rom som vi kunne disponere den tiden. Beliggenheten var også utmerket, like ved Akropolismuseet, og så kunne vi rusle rett inn i Plaka-området. Kan anbefales! Stavanger Les mer

Kjempe beliggenhet til severdighetene i Athen :) Det meste kan nås til fots, du kan også ta de gule bussene for å utforske byen mer. Tar kun tre min. til bussens holdeplass. Kjempe bra og vi reiser gjerne dit igjen.

Meget sentral beliggenhet,med 5 minutters spasertur til Akropolis. Pene rom og god standard. Anbefales!

Hotellet ligger i et område som er nær til Acropolis, shopping, parlamentet, lycabettus høyden, m.m. Hilsen John, Stavanger.

Vi var veldig fornøyde med standarden på hotellet, de ansattes velvillighet og hotellets beliggenhet i forhold til det som skulle besøkes, gamlebyen og Akropolis. Stille og rolige omgivelser gjorde oppholdet behagelig.

Vart tatt i mot av eit flott personale. Flott rom og god frukost. Svært sentralt. Har vore i Aten mange gonger før,. Me kjem til å velja dette hotellet fleire gonger.

Hotellet kombinerer det beste av to ting: Det ligger i en stille gate uten trafikk og dertil ligger det rett rundt hjørnet for Akropolis. Rundt det andre hjørnet ligger metroen, og rett opp i gaten begynner Plaka og restaurantgatene. Det kan vanskelig bli bedre til den prisen. Frokosten var solid, men kjedelig. Rommene var pene og rene, men trange. […] Servicen var helt ok, det er beliggenheten som får seks stjerner i min bok! Les mer

Sentralt hotell med bra standard og bra frokost. Mulighet for ekstraseng (3 personer på rommet).

For et kort og sightseeing-orientert opphold som vårt kunne vi ikke funnet et bedre plassert hotel. Anbefales! Pene og gode rom, god hjelp å få i resepsjonen, stille men svært nær det turistifiserte Plaka, ved starten av Akropolis-fjellet og knapt 100 meter fra det nye Akropolis-museet. Eneste svakhet var frokosten, kunne unnvært saft i stedenfor juice […] og pulver i stedenfor servert kaffe f.eks. Les mer

Fantastisk beliggenhet, i Plaka, med Akropolis og det nye museet som naboer. Fint utgangspunkt for spaserturer i Plaka og Monastiraki. Gode restauranter innen gåavstand, men unngå turistfellene! Stille og rolig hotell, pene rom, med balkong.

Fabulous hotel. Couldn't be better placed. The staff were wonderful and the breakfast the best. Would definately recommend this hotel to everyone. Will be staying there again when we return to Athens

We could not believe that it was a 4-star hotel when we got into our room: it was tiny, with old worn blankets and bath towels which were mere rags (frayed fringes and thin). In addition, the sink stoppers did not work and there were missing hangers in closet and missing cup from a holder in bathroom. Even my husband, who is usually not picky at all […] about hotel conditions, remarked that it was a 2-star place. We know that Greece is going through some tough economic times, but letting a place run down to such condition is just sad. The redeeming aspect of the hotel is that it is only one block from the new Acropolis museum, the Placa, and the Temple of Zeus. The breakfast buffet was also sumpteous. The hotel also gave each room a gift of sweet bread for Easter. They did try hard in their own ways:) Les mer

Lovely hotel - have stayed in Athens before but would definately recommend the Parthenon to everyone. Great place for all types of travellers. Best breakfast and great staff. Will be coming back.

I totally recommend this hotel. Great location, many of the main attractions are within an easy walking distance and it is situated in a safe and quiet residential street. We were here in April and the street was lined with orange trees ladened with fruit - very pretty. The hotel is a few minutes walk from the Metro station, and very close to the Plaka […] and its vast choice of tourist shopping and restaurants. Not 4* by international standards but nonetheless good accomodation, reasonable room size, adequate bathroom with bath/shower and hairdryer and we found the bed comfortable. Hot and cold selection at breakfast - certainly enough choice to start off the day. The hotel has a coffee lounge/bar which is open until late and serves excellent coffee. Reception staff could not have been more helpful. All in all an excellent choice for seeing the city and excellent value for money. Les mer

if you want location, this is the place! Located a one-minute walk from the akropoli metro station, and a two-minute walk from the capital's most cherished site and museum, this place is a find! Decent -sized rooms as well as very good breakfast, including specialties from various regions in the country. pretty much anything is findable within walking […] distance, including PLAKA. Right now, Greece is probablyl Europe's best budget buy for the american dollar, and probably will remain so for a while. while there is no concierge, staff at check-in speak english fluently, and are able and willing to give advice and directions. The hotel has a great location. Only a few minutes' walk to the Acropolis and Plaka. Easy access to the public transportation. Helpful staff.

Had a great stay, clean and reasonable sized rooms, staff very helpful and friendly. On pedestrian area a few minutes walk to museums, acropolis and great cafes and restaurants (Smiles is a few streets away and deserves its high rating). For the price and location I would recommend using this hotel.

The location and staff of Airotel Parthenon were excellent. Literally a minute from both the New Acropolis Museum and the Acropoli metro station - the area is safe at night [In Athens, always walk fast and keep hold of your bag & don't keep things in your pockets as a general rule]. The staff were always very sweet and helpful, staying up 24 hours to […] let you in way past midnight. The breakfast was a lovely selection of Greek bits and hot eggs, sausages and a variety of breads - I was particularly addicted to the Greek yellow milk and the carafe coffee rather than the latte/cappucino that you ask the waiter for. The only reason I did not give it all five *'s was that when I arrived my bathroom was not completely clean and I had to wipe down the WC seat. Make use of the locker in the room to store valuables and it is a + that you have wifi in your room! Thank you for a lovely stay, and I can't wait to return to Athens!!! Efharisto poly! Les mer

We had a great experience at the Airotel Parthenon. They are just around the corner from the subway station and down the road from the Acropolis. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Giotta, one of the receptionists, was very helpful in giving us some Greek words to to say and telling restaurants to try out. The food for the buffet breakfast was […] excellent. They had a wide selection of food to choose from. The rooms were decent. We had our baby with us and they were able to provide a cot (playpen) for her to sleep in. Our room was cleaned everyday. This is 3star hotel by international standards. Major plus is location to acropolis and walking distance to other areas like Plaka and Monastariki areas. Athens was an amazing experience ,very surprised.

Right under Parthenon, yards away from metro station. Great service. Awesome breakfast. Comfortable room. Couldn't have asked for better deal.

The orange tree lined street provided an exotic setting. The hotel front desk staff is fluent in English and very helpful. The room was pleasant and clean. The included buffet breakfast offered many hot and cold options. The hotel's location - a couple of blocks from the metro station and the new acropolis museum and about ten blocks from the acropolis […] - is very convenient. I highly recommend this reasonably priced hotel. Les mer

Location in Athens is everything. This Hotel is situated in a safe, quiet street 100 metres from the Acropolis museum. Hotel lobby was helpful when I asked directions. Breakfast was very good. A really good value for money.

We arrived early and the room was available so we could check in before the normal check in time. The location is the best. Close to Acropolis, Acropolis metro stop, and the Plaka. Since the hotel is on a very narrow street the nearby Melina Mercouri statue was a perfect meeting spot for the tour bus group that picked us up.

On a quiet street, close to all the historic places, near to metro and tram stations, easy to get to the airport, clean, friendly staff, breakfast OK.

Excellent location, in the middle of attractions. They were very friendly. Breakfast was good.

The staff was nice and helpful. The hotel is very close to the tourist spots like the Acropolis and various good restaurants.

The Airotel Parthenon is ideally located, reasonably priced, clean and comfortable. The desk staff was very helpful. The breakfast buffet is plentiful and delicious. You are a short walk from the metro and can save on a taxi from the airport by taking the metro there for 8 Euros. You can walk to everywhere you need to go from this spot. You are 3 minutes […] from the Acropois Museum and the first path up to the Acropolis. The Plaka is 100 yards away. You are far enough from Syntagma Square so that you do not need to worry about protests, but close enough for easy subway connections. Les mer

Hotel was clean, well presented and the service was EXCELLENT. The staff were friendly and efficient and went out of there way to assist us especially during the strikes

This hotel was on a small side street so was quiet but close to the Plaka area for easy walking. Lots of small cafes very close by. The hop- on- hop-off bus was only 2 min walk. The staff was very helpful & friendly, the manager even let us leave our baggage there after our return from our Greek Island Cruise while we went to see more of Athens before […] going to the airport later that day. This hotel is ideally situated for walking in the Plaka, to the Acropolis and surrounding archeological sites, and to the New Acropolis Museum. It's a great location. The staff was also efficient, friendly and helpful. We stayed two nights, then picked up a car at Avis - right around the corner - for 3 nights in the country and returned to the hotel […] for our final night. We were able to leave luggage at the hotel during our absence for a very, very minimal fee. This was a great help since 4 adults were traveling with luggage. I would definitely choose this hotel if I were returning to Athens. Les mer
