Fantastisk hotell med god service hele veien fra ankomst, til hjemreise. Hadde de-lux rom som var stort, også med stort flott bad. Fantastisk renhold, opptil flere ganger pr dag. Flott område med akseptabel gangavstand til det meste (shopping, kultur.....). Skal vi tilbake, vil vi uten tvil velge samme hotell.

Hotellet Stylish Room ligger i nær beliggenhet til Spansketrappen. Selve inngangen er litt borthjemt, men skiltet viser vei og man må bare følge ringeklokkene innover for å komme opp i andre etasje i et lite, koselig og moderne hotell. Rommene, resepsjon og spisesal har et moderne preg og er i sterk kontrast til mange andre hotell i byen. Rommene er enkelt innredet, men fine og ok størrelse. En hyggelig betjening er behjelpelige med mat uten om frokosttilbudet, og de tilbyr i tillegg en bringetjeneste til Fiumicino for en grei sum. Dette er med andre ord et hotell jeg kan anbefale og et fint utgangspunkt for Romaferien. En fin bonus til hotellet er flere gode restauranter i nær beliggenhet, og spesielt den rett under til venstre. God tur!

Hotellet ligger nær sentrum og t-bane stasjon. Også nærområde er veldig fin, for å ta fine bilder og handle gaver for venner. Service var som forventet, dette er jo en B&B hotell, altså tilbud av seng og en en liten frokost. ikke forvent dere en mettende frokost, for det serveres kun drikke og bolle. men maten kan kjøpes i nærheten enten i sparkjøp butikken eller i en av pizza/ kebab shops. Hotellet var ren og eieren var veldig hjelpsom og hyggelig kar. hotellet passer perfekt for en storbyferie. PS: varmeanlegget slås på kun etter kl 6, så hvis du reiser på vinteren ta med varm pisjamas og sokker :)

Forum var hjertet av antikkens Roma, det var hit alle veier førte. Besøkende flokker hit for å gå i de samme gatene hvor Julius Caesar en gang gikk, den gangen dette var sentrum for Romerrikets handel, politikk og rettsvesen. I nærheten ligger også Colosseum, beskrevet av Lord Byron som "gladiatorenes blodige sirkus", verdens mest berømte amfiteater og den mest imponerende av alle Romas bygninger og ruiner.

"Topp opplevelse"
Det første vi ble møtt med var at rommet vårt var oppgradert, uten ekstra kostnad for oss! Servicen var hele tiden super, både i resepsjon, baren og frokostsalen. Hotellet ligger meget gunstig plassert med gangavstand til både Coloseum, spansketrappen, shoppinggaten, termini og t-banen! Det eneste man må være obs på er at det er noe trafikkstøy fra […] gaten dersom man har rom mot den siden! Les mer

"Flott hotell med gå avstand til både severdigheter"
Flott hotell med hyggelig og serviceminded personale. Variert og god frokostbuffet. Store og romslige rom. Stort bad,med rikelig utvalg av toalettsaker. Air condition og varme var sentral styrt. Dette gjorde at rommet vårt ble varmere om natta enn vi ønsket. Fin beliggenhet,bra shopping og restauranter ved hotellet. "Artemide Roma Sentralt beliggende"
Hotellet ligger sentralt i forhold til det meste man kan ønske seg i Roma. Flotte rom, vennlig og ikke minst serviceinnstilt betjening. Rommene inn mot bakgården er stille og rolige. Et ypperlig hotel som trygt kan anbefales. Vi var en gruppe på 18 personer og alle hadde samme oppfatning.

Et fint hotel med gangavstand til de fleste severdighetene. Rommet var rent og fint. Den frie minibaren er noe oppskrytt, men OK. Frukost var god med det meste man kunne ønske seg. Trivelig betjening. Et godt valg av hotel til den relativt lave prisen.

Hotel ligger nær alle fasiliteter. Gratis Mini Bar som ble påfyllt hver dag var topp! Topp service av betjenningen som snakket engelsk til sine uttenlandske besøkende..Kjempe god frokost som Nordmenn er vant med.

Really loved this hotel overall. Comfortable, clean updated rooms with a nice decor, fantastic staff and the free minibar was very helpful. If I had to change anything, I would just move it a little closer to the main tourist area, but it was totally doable. The proximity to the train station was great - a short walk. "Great place!"
This was a great hotel! We were upgraded to a triple room, after booking a double. The baby crib was waiting for us when we arrived. The breakfast buffet was excellent. All of the hotel staff were incredibly helpful, courteous and friendly. We will definitely stay here again when we return to Rome.
"Amazing location"
Great hotel with an amazing location. Shops, restaurants and transport links immediate to the hotel. Even walking to the cool sights is very close and easy. You get a comp drink in the bar, via a token, on arrival. Easy bar, to thrilling, but nice. I arrived two hours earlier than check in time, so gave the receptionist a nice tip. She helped get the […] room ready a little quicker and she also upgraded me to a super room than the one booked. Win win!! The concierge/male reception staff are pretty poor. Try and get Valentina or the F.O Manger to help as they are the better. When I return to Rome, I am sure to stay there again. 4.5 out of 5 for me. Les mer

"THE place to stay"
This was our first visit to Rome for me and my son aged 16. It was our cultural trip and we stayed 3 nights at Artemide after doing a lot of research into hotels, location and attractions. This is a great hotel!... it is on Via Nazionale which is like Oxford Street/Knightsbridge in London, a lot of shops, fashion and restaurants on side streets. It's […] also 5-10 minutes’ walk from the main train station with a direct line to Fiumicino airport and where all the buses and coaches come in too from both of Rome’s airports. I recommend you take the coach from the airport not Rome... A company called Terravision charge €4 each way, it is the cheapest way (train is about €14 each and takes 30 minutes, taxi €40) and takes 45 minutes. They leave every 30 minutes. You can buy a return ticket for €8 there, or you pay €6 if you wait to buy it at the Rome end coming back. We flew with Alitalia from Heathrow and it was good flight times and all-round good flight, they serve drinks and biscuit snacks, but don’t expect a hot meal. They have their own coaches that come back from Rome, which we used... that was €7 and it was less crowded than the Terravision one. (Their coach service is not well advertised) You can get around Rome on foot, bus or taxi. We mostly walked and you can walk within 20-25 minutes from here to the Trevi Fountain, Spanish steps, and Trajan's market. Also 25-30 minutes or two tube-stops to the Coliseum, Palatine and Roman Forum (which are all in the same area). The No. 64 bus gets you to the Pantheon - which is a must-see in a very picturesque old square. You CAN walk to the Vatican City but it would be 30-40 minutes, or you can take the tube and get pretty close. Beware the queues for St Peters Square are MASSIVE... buy your tickets online FIRST. The last Sunday in the Month is FREE entry so it gets very busy with locals. Unlike Paris and London getting around Rome is cheap... they are not out to rip you off... an All-day anywhere tube ticket is €4 per day Les mer
"Exceptional Hotel"
From the moment we walked in until we checked out 5 days later we had a great stay at this hotel. The staff were all helpful friendly and efficient. We were upgraded to a suite and after a busy day touring Rome, the jacuzzi bath and free mini bar were most welcome. Very well placed for seeing the sights. Would definitely recommend.

The staff are fluent in english and french and made it very easy for us to enjoy our stay. They give good reccomendations for lunch and dinner places. The room was very big by european standards and included a very large balcony.This is the hotel we would come back too on our next visit.

i usually stay at marriotts or hiltons because i have points. but for my trip to rome over christmas, i chose artemide based upon reviews on tripadvisor and other sites. i am so glad i did. i arrived early and they changed my room so we could check-in early. breakfast and wireless included in room charge and wireless worked surprisingly well! breakfast […] was great. staff was courteous and customer service was exceptional. "The Hotel Artemide - Just Perfect in Every Way!"
The Hotel Artemide showed excellence in every aspect from our email communications prior to arriving to the genuine warmth of their farewell. The Hotel room was large and very comfortable and well appointed. The free mini bar is really convenient and quite amazing! The accommodation is very reasonably priced for the astounding quality, wonderful location […] and superb, individualized service. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. The lovely lady who cleaned our room every day over our eight night stay did the best, most thoughtful job I have ever encountered at any hotel. I didn't see any children staying at the hotel while we were there but I think that they would be just as cheerfully accommodated as everyone else. We got a couple of lovely surprise presents during our stay including a bottle of sparkling wine and beautifully wrapped chocolate panne cotte during our stay. They just appeared in our room! Chocolates at turn down time every night. Breakfast buffet was expansive and delicious. We were not charged extra for real coffee made to order which happens at most places at buffets. The location was fantastic and very convenience for transport - train or bus - great shopping and proximity to all the wonderful iconic Roman sites. There is a convenience store just across the road and a pharmacy too. We highly recommend Hotel Artemide. They are setting amazing new standards in intuitive hospitality. We will be back to enjoy the hospitality of the wonderful Mattheo and all the other dedicated, happy friendly, highly professional Hotel Artemide staff again next time in Rome. This hotel was simply the best we stayed in Europe and words cannot describe the level of customer service they provide. They are always helpful and ready to provide you with anything you need - whether it be shaving blades or a scale to weigh your bags. "Modern, Touristy Hotel"
This hotel is a great hotel for business or leisure. Basically, you will get a modern, clean room in a great location, with very good service. There is a very nice roof-top bar for cocktails or meeting place. Upon check-in we got a coupon for a free drink, which we had at the roof top bar while awaiting our room. The staff is incredbly helpful and speaks […] perfect English. It is a quick walk from the train station and right on a major thoroughfare, Via Nazionale. You do need to walk to tourist attractions which are a bit away. I booked the superior deluxe room in the off-season, which i would advise. We were surprised to be upgraded to the Honeymoon suite at the top of the hotel, with two rooms and a large stone terrace overlooking Rome, with a complimentary bottle of wine and completely sticked mini bar, which was complimentary! Truly a WOW experience. (I did look in at the regular rooms and they were small, but well appointed and moder; Very nice for a stay. The breakfast is a full, hot American breakfast. we stayed in the artemide hotel for 2 nights in Nov. The location was not located in central rome i.e. tourist area but altogether very near. The room was nice and clean and the bed very comfortable.

Artemide is a small, clean and conveniently-located hotel, close to the Metro stop and within walking distance of the colloseum, Spanish steps, good shopping and small restaurants. Our room was extremely small, but we knew that when we booked a standard room. Friendly staff.

Great find in Rome. We wanted to stay longer just because the hotel was so easy and great. The price was a steal, free wii, minifridge with beer and snacks that were refilled daily....lots of extras that made the stay. Breakfast was free and a great selection. My wife and I stayed at the Artemide for a four night stay in Rome after a cruise. The check in was very efficient and they upgraded our room to the next level and gave us a 50% discount on dinner in their roof resturant. Breakfast was included with the room and it was very good with a wide range of options. The room was very spacious and comfortable […] especially the bed. We were located in the front of the hotel so that we did have a lot of street noise, and I would chose the rear of the hotel next time. The location of the hotel is perfect for site seeing and access to public transportation. The roof resturant is interesting outsie on the roof but the interior dining room is too bright and stark. The food was so so but the service was good. At the end of the day I would recommenbd this hotel and would stay there again Les mer
"Great family hotel in good location!"
Perfect hotel for our family - we have an 11 and 9 year old year. They loved having their own space and their own beds. The room is small compared to US standards but it does not feel small. The free wifi and mini-bar are a huge plus! Breakfast buffet was very good! We would definitely stay here again!

A small but really pleasent hotel that has a great roof top restaurant that served great food at reasonable prices. Will try to stay here next time I come to Rome.

"First Class Hotel - Great Location"
Reviewed 27 September 2011 NEW Arrived early so expected to wait for the room, not the case. The room was ready, the reception staff were very helpfull at all times, they explained everything about the hotel and gave us a voucher to use in the roof top cafe. The room was of a high standard with a FREE mini bar which was filled everyday. We had out free […] drink in the bar and we purchased a lite bite. All was just excellent. The Hotel his within easy reach of the various sights, with the bus and Metro stops just a few minutes walk away. Remember as with any City please watch out for pick pockets, we knew of two crimes whilst we had our little break, but don;t let that put you off, Rome is a beautiful City and if you stay at the Arimide you won;t be disappointed Les mer

This hotel is clean, comfortable,in a convenient location, and provides superior service to its guests. On really hot days the room air conditioning does struggle to keep up. I would recommend this hotel as great value.

Room is fairly sized, very clean, quiet and comfortable. Facilities comparable to good US hotels. Breakfast was great - scrambled eggs, beans, sausage, bacon, cereals/fruit assortments. 20 mins by foot to most of the sites. Very pleased with accomodation. Will definitely go back to this hotel.

Good location and good hospitality. Patchy room service though especially at weekends - not replacing sufficient fresh towels etc. Lobby staff very helpful, breakfast sumptious.
"All comforts of home in the best location in Rome"
This was our first trip to Rome (honeymoon) and after staying at Artemide hotel we are not willing to even try another hotel in Rome in the future!! First of all, the service was outstanding, from front desk staff (who all speak English) to bell boys. Everyone was extremely friendly and willing to help with anything we asked, even looking up train schedules […] for us. The room was very spacious, modern, clean and well-upgraded! The included mini bar was amazing, since drinks are so expensive in Rome. We took bottled water and soda with us from the room and saved a ton of money by doing so. The breakfast was delicious and served with 5 star service, much better than US hotel crappy breakfast. The buffet had everything from eggs, bacon, sausage to pastries and even European style cold cuts and cheese. Coffee was great and service once again excellent. But wait...there's more...the best part of the hotel was the location!!! Right in the middle of Via Nazionale (central street in Rome) and walking distance to EVERYTHING (besides Vatican). We walked to every attraction and saved so much money on cabs by doing so. All around the hotel, there were a ton of restaurants, cafes, gelato places, shopping...anything you can wish for! Seriously...best value for our money, we wouldn't wish for a better hotel! My only criticism would be the comfort of the bed, while it was king size (rarity in Europe) it was pretty hard, so if you like plush mattresses be prepared for a change.
