Grei beliggenhet - nær marked og kort vei å gå til severdigheter. Hyggelig betjening Dårlig internett - ikke trådløs og kostet ekstra

OK, Bra beliggenhet, men skrudde av AC 2 av 4 netter.

Mange bra kvaliteter som beliggenhet, renhold og god sercice. Men et stort men - rommet vårt var så lite at det ikke en gang var plass til en kommode. En hel uke med tøyet i kofferten er ikke hva man forventer av et firestjernes hotell.

dette var et meget pent og rolig hotell, i et fint område. parkering til bil finner du 100 meter unna, så det var greit. spaserturen til byen tar 10-12 minutter, men da får du også sett mye fint på veien, så hvis du takler å gå litt er det absolutt noe du bør gjøre. vi du bo i nærheten av stadion er det perfekt. ca 4 min å gå. frokosten er enkel, men […] god nok. du hører også at det er lytt på rommene, men det var ikke noe stort problem. I think the title says it all.

Location: outstanding. Easy walk from the train station (10 minutes or less). Walking distance to all the main sights in Florence. Hotel staff: Very helpful. Not necessarily extremely friendly, but always knowledgeable and very anxious to help when asked. Breakfast: Adequate. Limited selection, but plenty. Room: Clean, but dated.

Nice and service minded staff in the reception. The room was clean and nicely furnished but the beds were very uncomfortable. You could feel the springs through the mattress. For one night it was ok though. One major disadvantage was that the walls seemed to be paper thin. a real gem in a town of dozens of great little hotels. i was traveling alone on my first trip to europe. this hotel was charming, comforting. the staff was thoughtful and kind. i loved coming home to the atlantic after a long day of walking around that fabulous city.

I had a horrible stay at this hotel in Nov. 2011. My room was nothing like the pictures. Bathrooms were horrible, we had a tiny plastic shower stall you could hardly fit in. (Plastic walls placed on bathroom floor). Bedroom was good size but bed was very hard and you could feel every spring. I travel in Europe a lot, and this hotel was a big disappointment […] for the price. Only good thing is location. Most angry that the pictures are deceiving. I stayed at hotel Atlantic Palace with a friend for only 1 night, but this hotel made our stay in Florence almost perfect. We came by car, bear in mind, the via Nazionale is a very narrow street and you can only park in front of the hotel to check in. They have valet parking, which is convenient, but you have to notify them at least 30 minutes beforehand […] if you need the car again. The room was clean, which is very important to me, a person who is a hygienefreak. 1 small notition, the room smelled like smoke, probably because we had the room above the entrance where people smoke as it is prohibited to smoke inside. That is the only downside of our stay. the complimentary breakfast was good and sufficient, the service great and the employees are very helpful. The attractions of Florence are all in walking distance, we love to walk, so the location is perfect. For the shoppers among us, the leather market is right next to the hotel! Room was above average but what we really enjoyed was the complimentary breakfast (wonderful) and service there. Feel free to book this place anytime for any length of stay

The Hotel Atlantic Palace was a quick 5 minute walk from the Firenze train station, and the convenience didn't stop there. The staff spoke fluent Italian, French and English and were very friendly. The rooms were small but very welcoming. Not your usual sleek and spare European hotel rooms - they are filled with individualized pieces of furniture and […] antiques. They also have full shower and bath. The hotel is close enough to plenty of things you'd want to see in Florence - from the Uffizi Galleries to the Ponte Vecchio to lots and lots of great places to eat (from lunch to dinner to gelato) that we never had to take a cab the entire time we were there (although we would have if we had had time to go to the Boboli Gardens). Breakfast is included and is good but not great. However, overall, I would certainly stay there again and recommend to anyone traveling to Florence and not wanting to spend an arm and a leg. Les mer

We were very happy with our stay in this hotel. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was of a nice size and the shower worked perfectly. We found the lady at reception when we arrived very friendly and informative. Great location! 5 min walking from the main train station. Don't look for great service as that is not common in Europe generally! Very clean and very close to the most tourist attractions.

Was very nervous about booking according to reviews only but we were pleasantly surprised when we got there. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was large and clean and we also had a king bed. It was conveniently located to many attractions and a short walk to the train station. It was a block from the outdoor market so it did get noisy […] early in the morning but we were there to sightsee not sleep late. Would definitely recommend the hotel to others. Les mer

The location can't be beat. It is so close to the accademia and the duomo. The air conditioner was so loud, there was a knocking noise, loud enough to hear even while wearing earplugs. It only knocked from 04:30-07:30, so count out REM sleep. There was also a very strong stench that would come and go. It smelled like a dead animal.

We only booked into this hotel and good it was for only one night. The hotel conveniently located just down the road from the mail train station which is a big plus. For the price we paid we thought that we would be in for a good stay. Upon entering our room we were displeased as it was old, untidy, the shower drain was obviously partially blocked […] and the shower head was sticking out of the wall where the hole was exposed so who knows what critters came in. Sleeping was not enjoyable as there were plenty of mosquitoes to keep you up even though we didn't at any stage have the window open. Also there is a surcharge to use the internet for 24 hours. The breakfast service was ok but my adivce is stay away and better spend your money somewhere else that actually is worth it. Les mer

We had a very good experience at the Hotel Atlantic Palace, due in large part to the friendly, attentive staff and proximity to the major sights in Florence. The hotel is a quick 5-7 minute walk to the main train station and within a 15-20 minute walk of all the major museums and attractions in Florence. The staff was exceptionally helpful from the […] moment we walked in, checking our baggage for the day (we arrived early morning) and providing us with a map of the city. They even had dinner reservations made for us by the time we returned at 13:00 to check in. The rooms were very clean and an excellent value for the price. Les mer

The location was great. It was close to all the main attractions. However, the hotel was horrible. I would give it at most a 2 star rating. Very dirty. There was mold in the washrooms and the shower was so small that it was difficult to bring up the arms to shampoo without touching the dirty walls. The elevator did not go to all the floors. Only two […] shower towels per day. There were no small hand towels. The maid did not clean our room and when we got back at 5:00 pm we just asked for clean towels. The breakfast was horrible for a four star hotel. The only hot food during breakfast was scrambled eggs. The bread had green mold on it my wife and I, we both got sick from the food. On your site, parking was estimated at 25 Euros per day but the hotel charged us 33 Euros per day. I would not recommend this hotel. I would suggest changing the rating on your site to a 2 star hotel. It was way overpriced and falsely advertised. Les mer

The street is far to busy and parking was almost impossible. Hotel was too close to the train station and the area was dingy and a haven for wayward souls. We stayed at another hotel last year in a different area but with similar descriptors. There was no comparison between them. Hotel Atlantic is over rated. Should be considered a 3 star. The staff […] was very good as was the food. That was it since the hotel is tired and in need for a real uplift. Parking was too expensive at €57 a day!! Les mer

We arrived to one of the most arrogant and rude men i have come accross in a long while. A 'little' italian guy with dark hair and glasses behind reception, who i think may have been trying to impress the very young receptionist with his bravado. We were excited to be arriving in florence but as i walked in all smiles he looked at me as if i was something […] on his shoes and made every question i asked a huge task for him to answer. I asked upon approaching reception if they had a carpark as we were stuck in the middle of the small road which leads you to the hotel and he looked and said no! i asked where then should we put the car and he answered on the street or they could ring someone to collect it and pay them but then stressed the street was for residents with permits only and we couldnt leave it there??? I said that the parking company would be great and asked if he could arrange that, he never looked up even and stressed again, its not free we would have to pay and i answered that yes i understood that and it wasnt a problem. This 'man?' took a private call whilst we stood there and started laughing and joking on the phone then said 'get your luggage from the car and ill ring'. My husband said he would get the bags whilst and i said id book in and he just looked away and ignored me. I gave the young girl there our passports and she sheepishly went and copied them and handed the copies towards him that he just ignored and carried on messing about with a piece of paper in front of him pretending to look busy but which just had a number of names he kept running his pen up and down until my husband returned. Then he handed me a key, called a porter and put his head back down. We were stunned but didnt want to have him ruin our night there anymore than he had already by saying anything. Just skip it...Not worth the price and less than great service. Forgot our wakeup call, had mold on the string in the bathroom shower, and just not friendly. The night desk person told us it is not possible to get a decent meal for under $100 a person in Florence. Extremely arrogrant city and hotel staff. The hotel was close to the train station so it was perfect for our travels, yet still in easy walking distance to all the sights. The room was very cute and the bathroom was fantastic! It was clean, well kept, and had a typical Italian rooftops/balconies view. The beds weren't the best but also not the worst we had in Europe. The staff was wonderful. […] They helped me locate my lost Kindle by calling all the places I'd been that day- and we found it! The breakfast was also really good. Great hotel - close to everything we needed and had a great restaurant next door. Rooms were a little small but not too bad. Would stay again.

After arriving late at night to check-in, it was smooth and effortless and checked into the lovely room. The room was clean, tidy and fresh although the views were what you would expect from a city centre hotel in the cute Italians backstreets! All lovely though. Breakfast was delicious, lots of fresh breads, coffee, cereals, hams and mozzeralla and […] tomato. Well located within easy walking distance of the train station and where the Terravision airport transfer bus drops/picks up. Highly recommended! Les mer

but thats about it! not in a clean part of town! very old (even for europe) does not deserve 4 stars. if your ok with 2-3 star hotels, this might work for you. service was great, breakfast was decent, but poor quality rooms and ghetto part of town! do not wear jewlry and prepare to be followed around by houligans! there is a GREAT authentic restaurant […] accross the street that was recommended by Simone, be prepared to be impressed and you will pay for that also! Great Location! Blocks from Train and all major attraction. Front desk STAFF was very helpful and spoke english. As a matter of fact one person walked me to ATM that's customer service. Rooms were avarage. My only complaint was the moldy smell of carpet outside room, but room was fine.

the hotel was close to most of the sights and it was good for its price, however the rooms were very noisy and you could hear the guests raising their voices and laughing in the aisles with no respect for the people who are trying to sleep

Me and my wife stayed in this hotel on the way to Rome from Venice. We had planned to go to Pisa from Florence and also wanted to see Florence since it was old capital for Italy. Fortunately we have been there only for a 1 night. The staff is not receiving at all, also the room was very small and congested, bathroom was not clean, room had no carpets, […] it was tiles with dirty floor, shower was choked up. But one good thing about the hotel is that the breakfast was wonderful to start a day with. The hotel is on the busy street so keeping windows open can be noisy. But there are lot of cafes and restaurants around, very close to central Firanze SMN station. There is even Mc-donalds on 5 min walk. All in all, a big no from me. Les mer

Wouldnt recommend this hotel at all, despite taking a complaint to the hotel management the issue wasnt resolved at all. Room wasnt made up when we went back to the hotel at 16:30pm - had to ask for shower gel towels etc

Hotel is in an excellent location to see the sights of Florence. However, it is by no means a fancy hotel, it is kind of old. Also, we had electrical problems one night and we couldn't turn lights on for half the night, which was very frustrating

This affordable hotel was clean, well appointed and perfectly situated in Florence. Everything is within walking distance - you're just a few blocks from the Duomo! A complete and delicious breakfast was offered every morning. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful - offering suggestions for places to dine and directions. For this price, I expected more. The location was the only plus here. The room was okay, but had narrow steps we had to climb to the bathroom; not easy in the middle of the night; and the shower grout lines had mold here and there. Clean enough, but needed maintainance. Front desk was helpful except one gentleman who was not happy to help us (it was […] not obvious why). If I stay in Florence again, I will find another hotel in the same area (close to the train station) that will give me more for my money than the Atlantic Palace did. Les mer

it is close to everywhere ,rooms are cozy , staff were very friendly they seemed happy to work there ,clean,speak english ,french too.breakfast was great ; i would definetly stay there ...there is recepsionist name Diego told us great cozy restaurant (BUCCA MARCO)we went it was amazingly so good ...

Hotel is close to the train station and the open air market. The room we stayed in was big by European standard. Hotel reception staff not that helpful though, bordering on Breakfast is sub par. You have to pay for wifi.
