Flott villa, fin hage og et fint svømmebasseng i rolige omgivelser i Fresneye Cape Town. Rommene er store og gode, gode senger. Frokosten i bakhagen er en flott start på dagen. Kjempegod service fra svært hyggelig og hjelpsomt personell som ønsker å gjøre alt for deg. Rengjøring upåklagelig. Kort sagt: Helt perfekt!

Et meget flott hotell med sentral beliggenhet ,kort vei til stort sett alle severdigheter. Litt små rom,men service og rengjøring er helt på topp.Kommer gjerne igjen og kan anbefale det videre

"Lovely hotel, set in large tranquil garden"
Take a quiet stroll around the huge pretty garden, eat breakfast outside on the terrace with views to the mountains. For the keep fit enthusiast a well equipped gym, plus a small indoor pool and larger outside pool. The best massage I have ever had in the spa. Great food. Surrounding area peaceful with good quality shops with in a short walk.

Stayed here for one week from Nov 24th to Dec 1st and can say had the most outstanding time. Superb hotel, very quiet Staff were excellent including all in the square restaurant and bar, housekeeping and especially the concierge / travel desk who arranged all my golfing and travel days If I had one minor gripe, and thats it is, it would be the staff […] in the splash bar area did not have the customer care ethic of the main hotel. I had to go in the cafe on numerous occasions for a refreshment top up. I will return to Cape Town, a beautiful and vibrant city and when I do I will definately return to the Vineyard Les mer
"Good base with facilities to match"
My wife and I stayed in this hotel for 5 nights on the conclusion of a 14 night holiday in the Western Cape. Having stayed in 5 star accommodation throughout our stay, our first impression of The Vineyard was very good. Service at reception was excellent and efficient. Slight disappointment on seeing our (deluxe) room but soon reconciled that our disappointment […] was relative to other places we had stayed rather than a criticism of the Vineyard. What we were seeing was the difference between 4 and 5 star accommodation! Beyond the room, the environs of the hotel have graet character and reflect the history of the place. The gardens are peaceful and scenic and offer a great haven after a day in the city. We ate in 'The Square' on night one and whilst the experience was not aweful, we didn't go back! Myoga was a better experience but didn't quite match the wonderful diningh that we had encountered elsewhere. The location of the hotel is great for all the main attractions and the helpfulness of concierge and travel staff was superb. In summary, a good, almost great, base for a visit to Capetown Les mer
"A gem in a quiet neighborhood"
The Vineyard is a beautifully preserved building with grounds overlooking the mountain and two new wings to the right for the guest rooms. These are spacious and have everything you could want. I had a room looking in to the courtyard and it was delightful - trees, clivias, ponds and birds. The hotel staff are unfailingly helpful. Being a small hotel, […] they have time to spoil you, not like the large places down down. The breakfast features so many fresh items, it was hard to choose. The fitness center is state of the art, and I used it frequently. The hotel also has special events throughout the week - wine tastings and so on - but they were booked out, so it would be wise to inquire about these when booking. Although the hotel is in a quiet street, access to the area at peak hours can be affected by traffic congestion, and that is something to watch out for. Les mer

We had a fabulous stay at the Vineyard Spa Hotel, lovely hotel, amazing gardens, excellent food and splendid service, spent a whole week, could happily have remained there longer. Definatley one to recommend and prices veryreasonable. Safe and secure, nice couple of restaurants nearby if you fancy a change

"Vineyard Hotel and Spa...exceptional service"
The staff were truly committed to service. Very helpful, knowledgeable, resourceful, and ever willing to attend to every whimsical need. The rooms were super comfortable with amazing views either of table mountain or a beautiful garden. The breakfast buffet had ever thing you could want or need. I would stay here again in a flash!

We would describe our stay and treatment at this hotel with only one word - EXCELLENT.
Alll aspects of staff service were exceptionally friendly and efficient. Our only problems were that the toilet flush did not clean satisfactorily and then only after holding the flush lever open for over a minute. Also our room (319) was directly under either central air conditioning and / or other electrical devices which ran throughout the night […] and were very sound intrusive. "The very best in Cape Town"
This hotel sits off the "main road" but only a few blocks.. it is beautiful with 5 star service and amenities. It is so quiet and peaceful with it's own botanical garden. The fitness center is a full service facility, the pools are beautiful...... I am totally sold on this hotel... the virtues of the location are endless and the price is very reasonable […] The brunch has the freshest of everything and a full array to meet the tastes of all international and resident guests. "Love this hotel"
I love this hotel and stay here whenever I can. It is peaceful and the gardens are beautiful. Splurge for a mountain facing room, you won't be sorry. They are in the middle of construction - more rooms being added for the world cup 2010, so courtyard facing rooms are affected. It is also a good 15 - 20 minutes from the Cape Town waterfront, so be prepared […] for that. Otherwise, this is just a terrific hotel. ps - they do a wonderful job with conferences, if you ever need to host one in Cape Town, you can't go wrong with the Vineyard. Les mer
"good once building work completed"
We have stayed here last year, enjoyed very much, this time there is a lot of building work going on (35 new rooms). We were given the room facing the garden after requesting it (view of building site was not very appealing). Breakfast & dinners are excellent. There is a shuttle to Capetown few times a day R85/trip. Beautiful view of Table mountains […] from the garden patio. Lot of conferences going on, a busy place. "Vineyard Hotel : sehr schönes Hotel in ruhiger Lag"
Nicht weit weg vom Zentrum und in einer sehr ruhiger Lage. Wir haben unsere Tage in diesem Hotel sehr genossen. Das Essen ist sehr fein und die Hotelzimmer sind gemütlich. Der einzige Negativpunkt war das Swimming pool : innen und aussen zu kalt. Schade! Wir empfehlen dieses Hotel aber weiter.
