My husband and I enjoyed our stay. The room was very clean including the bathroom. Fresh white linen and they provided lots of pillows, too. We will make sure to go to this hotel on our next trip.

"I'll stay here again"
Great stay at a clean place and a fairly convenient location. We were visiting a son at HSU and it was ideal. The staff was friendly and went out of their way to help us patch up our car window due to debris hitting it on the way up the coast. They were very, very helpful at the front desk and the cleaning staff as well. Thanks! We will be back.
Good location on motel road. Inexpensive food available on motel road. Room was comfortable, bath could have been a bit larger, but was clean and updated. Quiet location. Mid priced with those motel/hotel on same street.

Staff extremely courteous and friendly. Nice, large room. Perhaps add a couch? Continental breakfast adequate. Pool area and hot tub great! Nice central location for all the places we wanted to go.

I was surprised by how nice this hotel was. The front desk was a bit brisk in their initial instructions, but they were also extremely polite when I called for help with the Wi Fi! The cover on my bed had a good sized stain on it but the rest of the bedding was very clean and the beds wer Wonderful!!! It was so nice to stay in a hotel with firm beds. […] We slept very well and the breakfast was very good. I will stay in this hotle again!! Les mer

We have NO idea where the "one star" rating came from...(which was posted when we chose this hotel). Our room was very large, clean, comfortable, and had many amenities such as coffee maker, microwave and refrigerator. The mattress was very, very comfortable, as were the pillows. The hotel grounds were neat and well-kept, and a painting crew was there […] when we left, touching up places on the exterior of the building. All in all...it was quite a wonderful stay and a great value. Les mer

"Hotel close to Humboldt"
We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights because we had to attend my daughters Orientation at Humboldt State. I am happy to say that our stay was pleasant. The beds were very comfortable and clean. The carpet and bathroom were also spic and span. The only suggestion I would make was the sink was a little slow to drain. The breakfast was satisfying and the […] replenishment was fast. "Best Western Arcata Inn"
We stayed at the Best Western Arcata Inn on a recent visit to tour the Humboldt State campus. It was a short drive away, easy to find, and felt safe. Of course it had all the bumps and noise of most budget motels during the night, but nothing too annoying. The room temp was easy to control and we slept great.
