Bathroom was in disarray. Horrible water pressure and disfunctional fixtures. The shower head was broken and pipes were coming out of the wall. The shower head was also uncentered which made the entire "relaxing shower" experience non-existent. Room smelt musty

For what we paid, this was not what we expected at all. We could enter our shower through our actual room. There was zero privacy and really outdated. The pictures made this hotel look a lot better than it actually was.

I think the cook was absolutely amazing, he was friendly nice upbeat and made sure everyone was treated with respect.

We chose Best Western, because it is usually dependable, but we were disappointed with this one. The bed was uncomfortably soft, the room smelled unclean, the bathtub was not clean, the room was right next to the indoor swimming pool where a lot of noise was, the breakfast was not attractive at all, not well maintained and there was no fruit.

Don't stay here people. I stayed 4 days for a medical conference. the position of the motel was great. easy access to/from my conference. relativel quiet considering was right in the middle of 3 interstate/major roadways. Room was not cleaned any of my days. Breakfast bar was horrible. staff was very friendly.

The hotel itself was acceptable - decent breakfast and standard room amenities. They have a little kitchen in the breskfast area where they will make you eggs to order. When we requested an additional towel on our first day, they gave us one, but when the room was cleaned on the second day we only received 2 clean towels. We had booked the room for […] 3 people. My complaint about the hotel was that it was stinky, which for me lowers the feeling of cleanliness. Right when you walk in the main lobby door there is an overwhelming air fresher scent...seems like they are trying to cover up a bad smell underneath. Additionally, the room we were assigned to on the first floor - just off of the guest computer area - reeked of mildew as soon as we walked in the door. My guess is a toilet or bathtub accident occurred leaving the carpet by the door wet and eventually mildewed. We ended up opening the windows to try to lessen the smell, which did not feel very secure being on the first floor and in the surrounding neighborhood. We did not ask to switch rooms, which in hindsight we should have. We had family members who were staying on the 4th floor and their room felt much cleaner and nicer. The hotel itself was about a 20 minute drive from downtown. There are not really any nearby restaurants or conveniences or cool sites near the hotel so plan on needing to drive. Les mer

Hard to find, but fairly convenient. Seemed like it was really classy at one time. Price was reasonable given that it was a busy season. Worst thing: Desk clerk seemed purposely unfriendly. Argued that "Expedia" (?) didn't guarantee a non-smoking room, so we wouldn't get one. Upon our second request, he changed the room, but it had a broken heat/cool […] unit and a broken TV. Stayed just 1 night during sxsw2013 & was pleased to find a reasonbly priced room a cab ride from downtown austin

Even though it was a bit far from downtown than we expected, our stay @ the best western was def more than I expected. 1 staff member wasn't too friendly an older lady who failed to get the towels we requested.. other than that though, I rate them a 4 plus. :-)

We had a few problems at the hotel but most where corrected. No hot water , repaired the next morning ; pool closed , reopened long enough for the kids to get a quick swim. There's also a Tejano Club next door that you can hear and feel until about 2am ; which is ok if you're into that sort of thing , we're not. Average hotel.

Went by reviews we saw, stating this hotel was good. Pull up, & there's guys from companies drinking in front. We unload, walk into a good 1st impression interior wise. Pretty lobby! Pool is nice, gym room is nice, but can't say much for rooms, & breakfast area! Room was NASTY! Bthrm floor had dried up bits of toilet paper that had been mopped over, […] hair on the toilet, the room has a sticky feel all over, view was of ghetto apts. Furniture is worn, the beds, well I woke with back pain, & so did my fam. Woke, & went to brkfst. Cook was rude, a cleaning lady cut in front of me to eat while talking about her life on her cell. I was tolerating her, but my husband seen i was waiting to feed my baby & myself, & was not so patient. Food was yummy, but selection is small. Tables were sticky. This place just seems gross! Went to our room, grabbed our things, & left! We just wanted out of there! Oh, & let's not forget the drunk who nearly barreled through me and my daughters while he was stumbling up the stairs! We normally stay at Fairfield Inn or Crowne Plaza since they are also close to the Childrens Hospital & 1 of my daughters is going through a lot, so we always try to make it fun. She loves indoor pools, CP only has outdoor, & FI gets pricey so we were looking for a little less pricey. Needless to say, we will pay a little extra next time! Lol... Les mer

My wife and I went here for our honeymoon and I purposefully booked the jacuzzi suite and when we arrived and unloaded our bags we decided to use the tub only to find it was not cleaned well before we came. We went to front desk and were given another jacuzzi room and it had standing water. We decided to downgrade our package to just a regular room […] but this hotel was far from what i expected. Everything about this place is top-notch! The rooms are very clean, and the interior is very well furnished and homely. It has the feeling of secret privacy that even James Bond would appreciate! But yet, it is closely located near 183 and 35, and the surrounding neighbourhood is safe! Would definitely stay again!

Nice hotel with some good staff. Breakfast was not as good as some other best westerns that we used. A little bit far from the centre of Austin to be convenient.

Great looking hotel, and the lobby / atrium is wonderful. The room was just OK, and the jacuzzi was set in a funny position between the bathroom and bedroom. Pleasant stay overall.

I stayed in a room with a king size bed and a Jacuzzi tub. It was amazing! The room was very clean, the sheets were cleaned, and the room had lots of complimentary items. Overall, its the best hotel I've stayed at.

We got a King sized bed with a hot tub in the room. The room we got was located on the first floor near the in-door pool and the pool has a water fall that was super loud, so we asked the change rooms and the person at the front desk was very helpful about that. Our new room had a nice comfy bed, the hot tub in the room was huge. In the first room we […] got the hot tub seemed a little dirty near the jets, but this one seemed cleaner. The first room also had a light out in the bathroom. Only the hot water faucet worked in the hot tub, so we had to go get some ice to cool off the bath. The night time hotel staff was exceptional. They called me by name & solved an issue we had with our room with professionalism. Employee serving breakfast was very pleasant & accommodating.

We arrived on Friday October 12 at around 9pm. The young man was over the top flamboyant and revealed too much information about his personal status. He had his friends drinking beer at the reception, which we had to wait till they were done with their conversation before he greeted us. It was a great hotel stay and i enjoyed being there with my wife. Our room was very up kept and how the shower and bathtub set up was amazing. If we had any kind of complaint it would be the cook we had the first morning we were there he came off a little rude and acted like we were a inconvenience to him

We stayed at Best Western-N Atrium for two days. It was a pleasant experience. Room was clean, with a refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. Have to say that the bed was the worst I've ever tried to sleep on, the carpet was thread bare, and the faucet in the shower would not turn off completely.

Having free internet was good. The breakfast area was very crowded on Sa. and Su. The location is not that great, TV is room was of high resolution and having Showtime was a plus. No bar or restaurant!

I liked the hotel until their wifi went down being a business trip Internet service was critical. I needed an address at one point and asked the desk if they could look it up for me. What I needed was a specific lake location that I only knew about via the Internet. After waiting a few minutes, I was handed a phone book... Eventually I was offered the […] use of the lobby computer. It did not work until someone came down to fix it. By the time I was able to use it, I was able to do some of my work but not all I needed. Went to my next day meeting exhausted and had to stop on the way home to sleep for an hour. My room was nice, spacious and clean. Value was good for location. Breakfast, included, was impressive and not the normal cold bar. Eggs, bacon, sausage etc.. Despite my issues with the Internet, I will stay there again Les mer
