Kjempesentralt hotell i Gamlebyen,men godt gjemt resepsjon i hotellet Måtte gå gjennom en restaurant :/ Et stort minus var at det var veldig støyete.Vi bodde i 4 etg i et 4 mannsrom og sov dårlig hver natt :( Men som sagt : utrolig sentralt til alt og superfin by!!! Husk at taxien ikke kan kjøre helt frem til hotellet.

Hotel Maximillian er et hotel utenom det vanlige! Hotellet har en sjarmerende og hyggelig betjening, en ubeskrivelig frokost og sist men ikke minst; en beliggenhet som best kan beskrives som "midt i smørøyet", men likevel skjermet og i rolige omgivelser. Frokosten er nevnt, med det meste av utvalg pluss litt til (oppskåret frukt i mange varianter, franske oster osv). I tillegg til dette har de en egen meny der du kan bestille bl.a. omelett (bestem selv ingrediensene), egg i alle variasjoner, frisk smoothie osv. osv. Hotellet tilbyr organisert joggetur to ganger i uka for mogenfulgler (starter 07:15). Her tar en av de ansatte med interesserte gjester på en kombinert treningstur og sightseeing der treneren oppleves som en fullbefaren guide med detaljerte kunnskaper om byen. Topp! Vel verdt å nevne er også hotellets bar. Honesty Bar mangler bartender, og gjestene selv inviteres til å forsyne seg av alt fra cognac og wiskey, øl og vin, til kaffe og kaker eller bare et glass vann. Skriv deretter opp hva du har tatt og romnummer, så kommer det på regningen. Alltid hyggelig å bli stolt på. Hotell Maximillian var en av hovedgrunnene til at vi storkoste oss i Praha. Vi anbefaler hotellet på det varmeste!!!

Vårt tredje opphold i Praha og vårt tredje opphold på Hotel Roma. Det sier alt. En fantastisk by og et bra hotell når en ikke søker maksimal luksus. Mye igjen for pengene.

Ypperlig sted for en langweekend eller lignende i Praha. Enda bedre hvis det hadde vært resepsjonist som snakket engelsk mere av tiden. Kan absolutt anbefales

Hotellet har flott beliggenhet i sentrum av gamle byen,hjelpsomt personell / stab. Mengder av folk som oppholder seg i nærheten da den berømte klokken ligger på samme plass, dette medførte faktisk ikke til noe generende støy, Hotellet ligger veldig sentralt til alle de største serverdigheter. Stort minus er elendige senger ( veldig harde) noe som er vanlig i den del av verdenen, ingen fordel for personer med rygg plager. ellers kan hotellet anbefales på det sterkeste.

This hotel was a terrific value and a great place. Delightful room, astonishingly good location. Three minute walk to Old Town Square; one minute to Metro, two minutes to airport bus. "modest hotel in great location"
The service was greate and the breakfast is reasonable. Location is perfect, at the entrance of the old town and a minute walk from metro and paladium shoping center. It is a modest hotel comparing to the other hotels that surrounds it but it gives greate value for it's price and is perfect for tourists that walk around the city most of the day.

The hotel has a great location near the old town. Limited parking for a extra charge, which is great because parking is limited. Help is provided with tours and staff speak english.

The hotel is right next to Power Tower and Municipal Hall, and few minutes away from Old Town Square and Prague Main Train Station. The staffs in the hotel are very helpful and friendly. However, the room and breakfast need improvement.

The location of this hotel is perfect, right in the heart of the major attractions. It has nice breakfast, if it is included in your booking. This is the end of my positive review of the hotel. The service of the hotel was sub-par. Front desk doesn't have a good knowledge and recommend restaurants. The worst is when we ask to call a taxi instead of […] using their over priced hotel car service 5 times of the normal taxi rate going from hotel to Prague's main train station, their front desk person shu-shi us off. Rude indeed. By the way, it is walking distance to the train station if you don't mind walking with your stuff. the location of this hotel was perfect...close to the famous clock, and also Republic Plaza. Shopping both souvenirs and quality modern shops very near. the breakfasts were great..abundant and appealing to every nationality.

We spent a few days in Prague in the later part of October, and must say that everything was great. The Hotel service was great, the employees were firendly and helpful. The brealfast buffet was abundant and they offer a great selection to choose from. Most of all is the location of the hotel. I would satay again and will recommend it to everybody.

"Enjoyed our stay at the BW Meteor Plaza in Prague"
My husband and I spent a week at the Best Western Meteor Plaza in Prague, and we were really happy with our experience. The hotel is cozy and clean, the breakfast was great, and we walked to all the key sites from the hotel, including the Palace and St. Vitus' Cathedral. We will stay there again if we go back to Prague.

The hotel was perfect. The only inconvinience we encountered was that the A/C was not working in our room. They did offer us a fan which we used. Other than that little thing everything else was to our satisfaction.

"Excellent location, gret breakfast"
Just spent 3 days and nights at Best Western Meteor Plaza in Prague. It was so strategically located - just perfect for walking all over the city. The hotel is old but it has been refreshed and the staff were helpful and kind. Breakfasts which are included with certain bookings are absolutely first class, hot and cold buffet, lots of good coffee or […] tea and great selection. The little lobby bar is a great place to have a glass of something before heading out for the evening. It was good value for money and I would stay there again. Les mer

Hotel was just okay, but needs a refurb looking a bit tired and smells of stale smoke close to all the right areas though but never 4 star deserving
Great location! Quiet hotel. Most rooms face inner quiet couryard. Close to all major sites and can walk to everything. We will stay again if we ever come back to Prague.

This hotel was much less expensive than other hotels in the area. while the room is small, it is clean and has a good bathroom. Only missing is an iron and board in the room. They do have them upon request. the staff is wonderful. Breakfast included and is okay.

"Ideal location in Prague"
Ideal location only 10 minute walk from central station and 50 metres from Powder Tower. The room was of a good standard and the staff were friendly. Breakfast was acceptable. Overall, the hotel is good value
"Great location in Prague"
This was definitely an outstanding location, right in the heart of the city and within easy walking distance of public transportation. The staff spoke perfect English and was enormously gracious and helpful. It is NOT a five start hotel, but it is very clean and comfortable and the price is excellent. I'd definitely recommend it!

Hotel was south of the train station in a relatively poor neighborhood. Pick a hotel nearer to Marienplatz or near the outdoor market just south of Marienplatz. No Air Conditioning in this hotel either.

"Good location, reasonable hotel"
This hotel is about 10 minutes slow walk from the old town square and is really on a main street where you can't get lost getting to or from it. I was able to get all over Prague from this starting point without any issues. If you prefer to take tours there are a couple different companies just a street over. The room was large enough though the bed […] was smallish (it was a single room though) and was reasonably well appointed, except I do not like half shower doors rather than a shower curtain. This bathroom had the half shower door so water getting all over the floor was an issue with each shower. The included breakfast was nothing to write home about but it was a feature so I should mention it. There was a lot of variety anyway. I would definitely stay here again. Les mer
"It Was Nice, It Was Close, It Is Out-Dated"
This Best Western Hotel looks much better in pictures than it does in person. It is in a fantastic location; 5 min from the Old Square, 15 min from St. Charles Bridge and less than 5 min to 2 different metro stations. Believe it or not, it is also nice and quiet. The room was very clean, as was the shower and washroom. The only issue with the shower […] was a faulty handle, but no fuss was made about it. The housekeeping staff was phenomenal! They left us a "care package" every day at our door, which contained fresh new towels, and toilet paper - a first for us at any hotel, from 2 star to 5 star. Front desk service was okay. Without going into details, I needed to make a super-urgent local call and I was told no, I must use the room phone. Very unprofessional for such a serious issue. Other than that, the walk to the room was very long (over 2 minutes) and we thought the rooms were a bit outdated. So with aesthetic changes, this hotel could be really good, otherwise it was alright and we would still recommend it. Les mer

"Fantastic location, best deal for the price"
I would highly recommend this hotel. Location was superb. Easy walking distance to all the major sites. The room itself was large for European standards, although the shower was small. Huge breakfast variety with great quality- you will start your day with a full belly. The staff was all very nice and accommodating. Air conditioning worked well.

This hotel was in a great loctation near the powder tower for walking to the old town and the new town. The breakfast was ample. The room was quiet if a bit small. The hotel is a bit drab, but a great buy for anyobne who doesn't feel the hotel is the object of the visit.

hotel met all our expectations.room and bathroom were both clean.the included breakfast was very good with plenty of cnoice.but the best thing about the hotel is its location,within walking distance to all the sights in the old town and close to the subway for transport too and from the airport.

It was my first stay in Prague. The hotel locates near the train station, the tourist attractions, and almost everything. The breakfast is delicious. Free wi-fi. Recommended!
The hotel is in an excellent location. Prague is much more expensive than a few years ago, if you can pay by euro it is much cheaper, but very few places accept euro. The hotel is clean and offer a good varied breakfast.

From the reviews and pictures I expected this hotel to be a lot more modern. It was nice but I was very disappointed with my stay. The room was poky, very old style with an uncomfortable bed and not the best bathroom. You have to pay extra for use of the gym

Very good hotel for the price and is very well located for the tourist attractions without being in a noisy spot. 8 of us visited this hotel, the staff were very helpful and friendly and all of us were impressed. It's not a 5 star hotel but what you get for the money is good quality and a value price. The rooms were clean, comfortable and secure with […] good bathrooms. Breakfast was interesting at times and I would steer clear from the juice as it was heavily watered down. But it was breakfast and it had everything you needed to fill up for the morning. The hotel has free Wi-Fi and a computer is located on the 1st floor if you need to get online - again this is free to use. There is a nice little bar across the road which is significantly cheaper than the hotel. There is also a very very good restaurant to the right of the hotel as you leave the main doors on the opposite side of the road. The hotel will recommend it. The only downside we could really pick at was that smoking was aloud throughout the communal areas and as non smokers that's not too pleasant, but this is not the UK so it's to be expected really. We would all return to this hotel if and when visiting Prague again. Les mer
