Best Western Plus Fort Lauderdale Airport/Cruise Port ligger praktisk til nær flyplassen i Fort Lauderdale, i nærheten av Fort Lauderdale museum for antikke biler, Greater Fort Lauderdale konferansesenter og Afrikansk-amerikansk forskningsbibliotek og kultursenter. Ikke langt unna finner du også Broward senter for utøvende kunst og Las Olas Riverfront.

Trengte èn natt i forbindelse med å skulle reise på cruise. Hotellet ligger like ved både flyplassen og cruisehavnen, slik at det kun er snakk om en liten drosjetur til 10-15 dollar, samt at hotellet har shuttle til havnen som ligger på ca 5 dollar pr snute, kjørt til riktig skip. Det at hotellet ligger rett ved flyplassen merker man ikke stort til hva gjelder støy. Det eneste som er å utsette er lokasjonen i forhold til f.eks spisesteder og butikker, som gjør at man er avhenging av å kjøre/bli kjørt til butikk eller restaurant, da det er et greit stykke til forts. Men dette koster ikke akkurat mange dollarene.. Dette var mitt andre opphold på dette hotellet, og kommer trolig til å bo her også neste gang jeg er i byen i samme ærend :)

Helt ok hotell i forhold til pris. Rommet noe gammeldags og hadde ikke kjøleskap. Ellers var det rent og pent med 2 gode dobbeltsenger. Fin lobby med en liten bar som ble omgjort til en enkel frokostservering. Betalte ca 25 dollar ekstra per døgn i tillegg for å få hotellet til å parkere/hente bilen i eget garasjeanlegg så ofte vi hadde behov. Parkeringen kunne gjøres billigere ved å hente/bringe på egenhånd.

Bra hotell med tenke på kvalitet, men kjedelig at de skal ha 25 dollar i tillegg for parkering og 10 dollar for WiFi på rommet.

Godt fornøyd med oppholdet. Svært vennlig og serviceinnstilt personale. Romantisk og stemningsfullt uteområde/bar om kveldene. Rent og pent og minimalistisk stil på rommene. Kan anbefales.

We came to the hotel after a late flight, and were seriously ready for some rest. After calling for transportation from the airport, we found that the hotel clerk on duty had our information ready to go when we arrived, and I have never been checked into a room so fast in my life. The friendly gentleman behind the counter was fast, efficient, and really […] made us feel welcome. I can't say the same for the ladies behind the counter the next morning, as one misdirected us and the other seemed unhappy to see us. We all have bad days, so we were grateful for the quality of the room, and the great service we received when we needed it most. We were also disappointed that we did not receive information about the airport transportation schedule, as it would have made a difference in our morning schedule. I booked a room with a king size bed (paid extra for it), but when I checked in there were no King Size beds available. I booked a shuttle to the Port Everglades Cruise port for the following morning, but there was alot of confusion and it was not well coordinated. Felt unsafe. Nearby shops have bars on windows. Air conditioning filled room with strong mould smell. Had to have window open. Extremely noisy adjoining 8 lane highway. Breakfast suitable for those aiming to be obese. Shuttle very unreliable. We took taxi - left other people who after an hour were still waiting for shuttle to airport. "Excellent room at a Very Good Price"
Our room was large and well appointed. We asked for a wake-up call which was promptly made. There are a range of restaurants in walking distance which was great since we were there between flights and without a car. I recommend the German one which is a bit funky but delicious. The van service to the airport was good, especially the return since they […] dropped us off at our terminal. The airport system for getting to the vans is laborious, but that's not the hotel's fault. The only negative was the pool was too cold for my tastes. Otherwise an excellent night's stay! "A Good Place To Stay"
While the costs is relatively high, it was a good quality room. The lobby is small and when they are busy with folks going to the cruse ships and/or airport it can be a challenge but that was not too bad. The pool is nice. Our room was large for accessibility and that was great. Staff was helpful at the desk. It is not a large facility (just two stories) […] so given the market it serves I would think you would have to reserve a week or so earlier. "good stay good price"
Our family of 5 spent a couple of nights here while as part of our cruise vacation. Hotel was clean, we were comfortable. Close to shopping, food, and activities. Also close to car rental and port. No problems with staff or hotel. Pool was nice/heated. Not a bad stay for the price.

Just back from a cruise. No shuttle from cruise terminal to Hotel. We took a cab. They have a shuttle to the terminal but not back?? Not sure why. They charge for the shuttle when many other hotels in the area do not. If there at 2 or more going to the cruise terminal it is cheaper to take a cab (based on per person). "1.5 miles from airport, Very Clean, Modern, Nice!"
Had a suite, so a separate living and a large bedroom area. Loved the comfy sheets, very fluffy. Seems to be a popular place for pilots and flight staff. Wonderful continental breakfast, and the gentleman that checked me in, Geoff, was very accomodating. I also had a stone balcony off the bedroom- nice touch. "Great Cruiseport Airport Location"
Enjoyed our stay; pleasantly impressed with the size, quality and amenities. Nice and quiet. There is a complimentary shuttle to a nice restaurant at an associate hotel, which was great. The breakfast bar was pretty good - well stocked, clean tables etc. Would definitely stay again.

Nothing special. No restaurant. Food in walking distance. Don`t waste your time with the shuttle from the airport--waited 20 minutes and it stops at other hotels. We declined the shuttle to the cruise ship, and got there much quicker at lower cost.

"Great to stay with an overnight layover"
We were literally in the hotel for 6 1/2 hours because of a late flight in and an early flight out, but the price was great for that sleep + 24 hour shuttle service! We'll be staying there again for sure. Continental breakfast was supposed to be put out at 6 a.m. but some of it was out before 5 a.m. so that was great for us since we left at 5 a.m. to […] head back to the airport. Les mer

Very affordable and clean hotel! I was glad to see they had a pool and breakfast was very good. I was also able to print out my boarding passes with the printer they had for their guests. Also I was able to check my emails from my own laptop in my room with the free wifi they offered. We rented a car and were able to drive to 2 different beaches which […] were not too far from the hotel. The front desk employee was very pleasant and accommodated us very quickly. We felt welcome and had a great stay. The location is great and within walking distance to places where we were able to buy sunblock and grab quick affordable meals for the kids. Everything was great, all thought the girl at the front desk could have smiled at least some. She did not seem overly friendly. However, if cruising again I would not hesitate to stay here again

The room was very comfortable, but had a very musky smell in the carpet. Maybe all the carpet in the hotel should be changed. Overall we had an enjoyable stay. The staff were very helpful.

We had initially planned to leave our car at the port parking terminal but upon asking the desk clerk she stated our car could remain on their lot at $10/day (Port parking terminal is $15) AND their shuttle would drop us off on embarkation day. This hotel was exactly what we expected and wanted. A decent hotel at a good price with a free ride from the airport. Excellent price, nice rooms and pool area, close to some food and a little shopping.

The hotel was convenient to airport. Having a 24-hr airport shuttle was important to our travel plans. Breakfast was adequate/okay - typical for this type of hotel. We'd stay here again. Seemed pricey but we were there during President's week which means high demand, and we were there on a Saturday night.

The transfer from airport to hotel, a distance of 1.5 miles took 1 hour. Better to take a cab than the hotel shuttle. Restaurants such as Rendezvous and Old Heidelberg were way more than the 1 block away that was stated in the description. Breakfast was very good and the rooms were well appointed and clean. Picked this location b/c of the free shuttle and convenience to cruise port. No one knew what was going on and it was mass chaos. Spend a bit more for no hassle would be my recommendation!

The sole reason for staying here was a post-cruise layover, and it was adequate for that but nothing fancy. In the same situation (to-from a cruise), I would probably stay there again, but I would give it an overall 3.5.

After reading mixed reviews, I wasn't sure what to expect but I must say I was pleasantly surprised. The hotel is very clean as was the room. The bathroom was shining! Hot breakfast included eggs, sausage, waffles etc. If you want something more, McDonalds is right next door and Dunkin Donuts is in walking distance. There is a shopping center next door […] too for any last minute items before you board the cruise. Shuttle bus ran 24 hrs and offered complimentary transfer to cruise pier the next morning. Only thing with that was I had to go to airport first for passenger pick up/drop off and then they took us to the pier. Took about 45 mins, just take a taxi, it's worth the few extra bucks. If you don't need all the bells and whistles, this hotel is more than adequate and very affordably priced. Les mer

"Good place"
Best Western that we stayed is what we expected on location and amenities.We recomend this for us again the next time we visit.
The hotel is clean, comfortable and a 10 minute drive from the beach. It overlooks a shopping plaza which includes McDonalds, supermarket, shoe store etc. September 2010 was my fourth visit and I am planning for many more in the future.

This hotel was very close to the airport. After spending the night without A/C I was only too happy happy to catch their 5:30 shuttle to the airport for my 7:00 flight.
