Koselig og særpreget gammel pub ved elven, 5-10 min.å gå til sentrum.Ved park/naturområde. Like ved det største universitetet. Fine, nyopppussede rom i 2.etasje, rent og flott, meget bra bad. Hyggelig betjening. God frokost med flere valgmuligheter, middagsservering til kl.21.

OK opphold mens jeg var på kurs hos Avaya. Det som iriterer er at man ikke har gratis internett på dette hotellet (eller på andre i england) slik de har i norden og sikkert i mange land. Har fått tips om et familiehotell i maidenhead med gratis internet og frokost inkludert i rom. Blir nok det hotellet neste gang. Holiday inn får + for trimrom. Merkelig at de ikke tar ekstra betalt for det !!!!

Lite mulighet for ventilasjon på rommet. Vannflaske åpnet som ikke var byttet ut. Frokost veldig god, hyggelig vertskap, fin beliggenhet.

Vi bodde på hotellet i forbindelse med en fotballtur - Wycombe Wanderers. Vi måtte ta taxi fra sentrum (togstasjonen) og til hotellet og videre til Adams park igjen. Hotellet holder en fin standard og frokosten er meget bra. Dette sammen med prisen på overnattingen gjør at hotellet kan anbefales på det varmeste.

Enjoyed our stay at this Hotel but don't try to get a drink from the bar after 12.30 on a Saturday night. Unless you want a beer it is practically impossible and even getting this was not simple! Having said this the hotel was very comfortable, breakfast excellent and overall service good too.

The hotel is large, with plenty of communal areas for informal meetings or just to relax and surf the net. The hotel itself is clean and generally in a good state of repair. Staff on reception, at the bar/restaurant and in the spa/leisure facility were all very helpful and friendly. The room, although described as "standard" was spacious and clean, […] however the bathroom could benefit from some updating to improve the appearance. The Belfry is handy for the historical town of Thame and, of course for the City of Oxford (the park and ride is probably the best bet for access to the city - Thornhill P&R is a short car journey from the hotel). The spa/leisure facility has a clean, well maintained pool, sauna and steam room. A jacuzzi would be a welcome addition to the leisure facility for the ultimate relaxation experience. All in all, a very pleasant stay at a reasonable rate. Les mer

A lovely modern hotel the facilities good bedroom very roomy and comfortable . Breakfast good service good staff in general at the hotel attentive I would certainly go back there again and recommend to anybody wanting a good relaxing hotel in that area.

We stayed the night because we were having our works dinner dance at the hotel. Very high standard of service throughout. Hotel is a bit out of the way for a simple visit. You would need a reason to stay like an event. Pool and sauna were great, but the steam room needs to be hotter.

More of a conference center than a hotel. We were put in a handicap accessible room, everything was quite shabby, but as we had arrived late and were both tired, we ended up not saying anything. It was okay, but I would DEFINITELY not class it as a 4 star hotel. Won't be staying there again.

We booked a week before our friend's wedding via Hotel.com because there were no one night bookings available direct from the hotel. The room was fine, but the bathroom was awful. We were in a disabled room and there was no luxury at all to the bathroom. "Lovely Hotel"
This was a really nice hotel actually the best of three we stayed in during our trip to the UK. The staff were lovely and helpful, the room clean, close to Oxford which was a wonderful day trip. I would definately stay there again.
"Impeccably clean & spottless-not very peaceful"
Rooms, pool & hotel public areas were beautifuly spotless. Only flaw was we were expecting a quiet relaxing time here, being a spa but unfortunately the pool, spa & bar was a wash with very young, noisey children and families, other couples we spoke to also commented on this, would not recommend for a quiet romantic break!

We had a lovely surprise when we got to our room as there was a jacuzzi in the bathroom which we had not been expecting. Also, our room backed onto a lovely courtyard area which was very pretty and peaceful. The only downside was the fact that the recycled bottle of water in our room was not full so we were not sure if had already been used by somebody […] else. Les mer

Nothing wrong with this hotel. The staff were great, the room clean, but it's a bit souless and pricey for what it is. If it's a business trip and someone else is paying then go for it, otherwise find somewhere else if you can. Took a friend to a spa break re a rather big birthday surprise. Had a great stay in hotel with good spa facilities (book treatments before you go). small pool, but not a problem. Staff very helpful and pleasent. Breakfast, good quality and good selection. Nice outside courtyard to have a cuppa. Thames only 4 miles away with some really great restaurants […] and a really good buzz. Would recommend this Hotel, and I am fussy! Les mer

This is a very nice hotel, though somewhat rambling and confusing in layout. I've stayed here a couple of times - the first time being upgraded to a lovely mini-suite; the second time I was not so lucky being consigned to a rather stuffy attic room with single bed. I'd definitely recommend this hotel to others. My only gripe is that I left my mobile phone charger in my room and left a message for the house-keeping team in the hopes that it would be found and returned to me but no one returned my call. Although the hotel was a little way out of Oxford - not within walking distance - it was a great place to stay! The staff were friendly and helpful and the rooms relatively spacious, clean and comfortable. "Perfect place, but you MUST go by car"
Amazing place. Amazing service. Romantic garden, nice pool and all leisure areas. Perfect place if you are going by car, because there is no public transport around and the cheapest cab to Oxford city is about £50 one way.

for a two night break in a hotel not far from London this place was v good value. we had two great meals in local gastro pubs so didn't eat at the hotel. Oxford is a 25 mins drive from the hotel and for a few hours on a Saturday is a great place to walk around and explore in. don't expect supreme luxury and pampering but expect a clean well run hotel […] with friendly helpful staff. for the price i would definitely recommend. Chose Brimpton Grange after looking at Internet for meeting place. We were catching up with friends from Northampton and us from London so an ideal location. I'm pleased that I happened across the Belfry. I live and work away from home during the week and the Belfry provides a home from home. The staff are great - helpful and willing, the rooms are large, well furnished and clean and the hotel is in a very convenient location. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a hotel in the Oxford area.

We had a very nice room, and enjoyed our stay. Before we left on Saturday morning, we had a delicious breakfast.

We requested a quiet room and were given one at the end of a corridor, which was fine for 2 nights apart from the usual banging of doors. However on the Friday and Saturday evenings we were disturbed by the bass beat of discos in the function rooms until 1am.

Very good position on outskirts of Oxford. Excellent level of comfort. Excellent service in all areas. Restaurant food very good (excellent breakfast and service). Limited menu for dinner. Overall, highly recommended. Will gladly return.

"Enjoyed my stay"
We stayed for 4 nights bed and breakfast. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. The building is beautiful with old world charm yet modern facilities. Lovely outdoor area to sit in, good leisure centre and a small crazy golf area to keep the kids amused. Our bedroom was spacious, comfortable bed The bathroom was very modern and clean but very […] cramped, little space for makeup etc.. and the toilet was so close to the door it make it difficult to grab the toilet paper! The designer should of taken two foot off the bedroom and given a larger bathroom and it would have been perfect. Two hours free internet access was good but it would have been better if it was unlimited. Breakfast buffet was excellent but they kept running out of fried eggs causing queues at the counter as people waited. We only had a drink in the hotel bar on the night we arrived as we found the atmosphere so quiet it was almost like a church. I also got the worst cocktail ever. They boast a large cocktail menu yet my drink arrived in a half-pint glass, with a straw the only adornment - where was my slice of fruit or umbrella? After that we spent our evenings at a lovely village 3 miles away called Thame, beautiful old world pubs, a choice of good food and lots of atmosphere. Beware of weekend nights as the hotel may host weddings or parties as you won't get to sleep before the music finishes at 1am. Enjoyed our stay and would return if we are in the aea. Les mer
"Very strange experience for what is meant to be a top hotel!!"
We went to this hotel for a wedding at a near by venue and although calling ahead and being told that check in was from 2pm myself and countless other people were left stranded with no where to get ready as the rooms were not cleaned and ready till gone 3.20pm. The bar was only manned by one person during the afternoon despite there being 2 wedding […] parties using the hotel and the bar aea looked like a bomb had hit it and it took ages to get served. The room was also not up to 4 star standard, it is slightly nicer than a travel inn with no toiletries provided and very noisy at 9am with cleaners banging around. All in all disappointing. Les mer
