extremely helpful and friendly staff..Rooms are clean but could use some updating..We did not use indoor pool but it looked very nice...Warm cookies on arrival is a nice touch but the staff was the best part of our stay..
Very nice hotel, well maintained, clean rooms. Comfortable beds, good heating/AC units. And, love the freshly baked cookies that they give you on arrival!!

I was worried after reading the negative reviews but I would have to disagree. The place was well kept up, the rooms nice. Sure, no flat screen TV but that was no big deal. Room service was prompt and excellent quality. Shuttle service was a bust but taxis were easy to get. Poor service in ding room but excellent food.
"Great Hotel- far from boston"
I was under the impression that this was closer to Boston, but it ended up being a 30+ minute drive. Not too terrible, but still annoying. Other than that the hotel stay was wonderful. Everyone was nice and everything was very very clean. I would definitely stay there again.

"disappointing"
I paid the extra money for a large king room, last time it was room 201 when we arrived they said the reservation was for a single queen. They put us in a king but it was not what we were expecting.

"Doubletree by Hilton Boston-Milford"
Good location for our weekend plans with family. After a 12 hour drive, the very comfortable beds and pillows were very much appreciated. Good coffee prepared in our room was welcome with our previously bought doughnuts. Good variety of stores nearby to purchase necessities. Easy access to I 495.

We were very pleased with our stay at the DoubleTree in Milford MA. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. When we requested a room change, due to some noisy neighbors, the front desk was accommodating and quickly switched us to a room on the preferred level of the hotel. Warm cookies when you check in!! Hotel was very clean. Our room was huge and had a very comfortable bed, modern TV and coffe/tea maker. Soap and shampoo were a very nice citrus blend. Overall, a very nice hotel.

Good location, awful hotel. Took 1/2 hour to check in, room key did not work - another 1/2 hour wait; toilet was clogged - not by us. Walls are paper thin; hallways are shabby. Thankfully did not stay long. Will never go back.

Everything was above average except that the air conditioning unit was very loud. The afternoon check-in clerk was confused how the prepaid purchased breakfast worked in the morning; however, the night clerk knew what was happening and gladly explained how breakfast would be handled.

Very nice hotel with a good, but slightly pricey breakfast offering. The hotel condition was excellent and the rooms were nicely furnished. The area was quiet and very scenic. The only negative comment I could make is that the room could have been vacuumed better and more often.

Hair on bathroom floor from previous guest & toe nail clippings in the carpet. Service at front desk was accommodating. Appreciated convenient shuttle to start of Boston marathon & enjoyed marathon snack bags for runners. Thank you!
What a great experience. Thought this was just another of many stays at a hotel but in a new location. The experience started with a fresh, warm cookie and a smile. From their it continued with award winning service in a clean and comfortable room. I guess the question is, what more could you ask for? Rusty

The beds in this hotel were so comfortable. It is by far the best nights sleep I've ever had in a hotel bed. Such a great value, too
"Second stay"
this was my second stay at this hotel and i was very disappointed this time. the room was at the other end of the hotel far from the main lobby and resturants, cobwebs in the room, the front desk staff was curt and short when called for information. The hotel store if you want to cal it that had no essentials only marketing stuff. they never left a […] second wash cloth although there were two people as registered guests, they did not provide clean glasses for our second day, the breakfast wait staff was horrible, there was no coffee available, nor any staff to find to get coffee, our table was not cleaned nor were we asked if we needed anything,. The only saving grace was your bartender Gavin on the night of our arrival who was very friendly and welcoming. I am not sure I will stay at this hotel again after this last visit which was drasticly different from my first. Les mer

"Great place for a stopover or business trip"
Good location and easy to find, right off of Route 495 and near the entrance to the Massachusetts Turnpike. Hotel was clean, quiet and the restaurant/pub was a pleasant surprise. The bartender was friendly and the food was very good. I definitely would stay there again if I needed a place to stay in that area.
"Excellent comfortable stop en route Cape Cod"
This was a very serendipitous find. We had a reservation in Cape Cod for the Labor Day weekend. But due to a hurricane we made a last minute reservation at this doubletree (thanks to hotels.com for allowing us to change our reservation on such short notice). I am not sure whether it was only because it was a last minute booking, but we got a very cheap […] rate for the night. We reached late Friday night, tired from the drive, but the receptionist was very nice, welcoming with the warm cookies, she helped us with checking in and also gave us a first floor easily accessible room on request (this was important as we had two bikes which we wanted to bring in for the night). The rooms were super clean (no hotel smells, clean bathrooms, lots of bath and hand towels), comfortable (we had two queen beds, with plenty comfy pillows), nice flat screen tv with HBO, easy check-out in the morning, overall a great experience. Additionally, there was plenty free parking with a back entrance too, and the location was perfect for us as it was right at an exit from I495. Cannot say much about the area in general, because we checked out in the morning and headed straight to the Cape. But this was really a nice hotel, and I would definitely recommend it. I am also going to consider living at more doubletrees in the future. Les mer

"Good for the quick stay during travel"
The staff was friendly and the hotel location is convenient to main roads. The hotel condition is aging -- slightly stained carpeting, worn bathroom fixtures and tiles. It feels more like a "motor lodge" than a Doubletree. It's fine for a quick rest, but if I was staying somewhere for more than a night, I would pick a different location in the greater […] Boston area. Les mer

"Comfortable for a short trip"
The hotel was good. I don't have too strong of an opinion as I was only there to sleep and leave again the next morning, but I will say that the front desk staff was incredibly helpful and friendly (they let me check in at 9:30a) and the room was clean and large. If I needed to, I would stay there again.
"outstanding hotel"
I would highly recommend this hotel. Everything about it was special. The town had an issue with the drinking water, but the hotel went out of their way to make sure we had plenty of available bottled water for use. The hotel breakfast was awesome. If you are going to be in the area for anything I suggest staying there.

"Outstanding Hotel"
I could not have asked for a nicer place. The staff at the front desk were professional and the room was immaculate. I could not believe how quiet it was. The breakfast the next morning was yummy! Would recommend Double Tree Milford/Boston to anyone.

"Very confortable!"
We all loved the individual wraped warm chocolate chip coookies at the check in time. We stoped at the counter for more cookies every night and was always greet with a smile. The beds were very comfortable especially the goose down pillows and the comforter! Love it.
