The halls & doorways need to be cleaned up and repainted. First impressions linger. However, my room was very clean and the breakfast was fresh! The staff were great!

The first thing that hits you when you walk thru the front door is the smell of cigarette smoke. The staff is not a bit friendly and the breakfast was worthless. I would not recommend this hotel.

Reserved non-smoking room but had to walk down hall of smoking rooms to get to glass door that divided rooms. Very bad setup. We had to use the stairs every time to avoid the smoke. Otherwise room was great.

Was pleasant, tight parking in lot for 26ft u haul and 12 ft trailer though. Reasonable rates..

The cleanliness of the hotel and room was wonderful. The beds were heavenly and the surrounding neighborhood very quiet and safe.

The parking spots were a bit small and depending where you parked hard to back out of.

Was dissapointed that the couple ahead of me got the room 25 dollars cheaper than I did. Room was nice.

was perfect for a low cost, one night stay for our group. only real issue was the whole hotel smelled somewhat of smoke, even though we were in non-smoking rooms.

Good hot water and shower pressure, Beds comfortable and towels were good. linens were dingy not dirty but just not white. Staff was very friendly, Wireless worked well but cable had the usual static on the low end channels. All in all better than sleeping in a car LOL

The rooms, although very small, are updated, now the hallways and noise needs to be addressed.

The staff was very friendly and helpful with some directions. I was disappointed in the breakfast and it would have been more comfortable sleeping on cement than the beds. They were way to hard. I wasn't expecting a resort but I just can't get past the beds.

The stay here was a good value for the money and had all the necessities. The location was very convenient - right off the highway and close to plenty of fuel and food options. The room was more compact than most, with a very modular, European feel. One specific thing I noticed and appreciated was that the linens smelled fresh, not like they had just […] been industrially cleaned with bleach. The continental breakfast was basic, with no hot items. I would have definitely liked a fitness center on site, but that's being nit-picky considering the price I paid and that I knew about the lack of one beforehand. Les mer

Coffee service 24/7 is good. TV is LCD huge size very nice.

THERE WAS NO TV REMOTE CONTROL IN THE ROOM. I NOTIFIED THE DESK. REPLY WAS THEY DIDN'T HAVE EXTRAS. IT MUST HAVE BEEN TO MUCH OF A TASK TO GET ONE FROM AN UNOCCUPIED ROOM WHICH I KNEW THEY HAD.

Clean, comfortable hotel for those of us on a budget. I was in town for a horse show and was having so much fun, I kept extending my stay. It was a nice hotel but we did find what looked to be mouse droppings in the sheets. The person at the front desk didn't even seem to be shocked but she did quickly offer us another room. I wouldn't stay there again just because of that but otherwise it was nice. It did seem to be short staffed- there was just the one person at the desk from what I […] could see. It is fine for the money. The room is small but so is the price. The breakfastsux, but for $50 extra the Hampton next door will hook you up.

We enjoyed our stay at the Georgetown Microtel very much, it is convenient to the interstate and to the city proper. The staff was helpful, the room suited us to a "t", and would not hesitate to recommend or to stay there on our next visit to the Bluegrass.

This was my 2nd stay here & nothing seemed to be improved from my stay a year ago. It's decent enough for what you pay. The rooms could use a deep cleaning, but overall they're okay. The location is convenient to 75 & the staff is very friendly.

the room was very clean but, it was a perfect example of the name...MICROtel. the place to hang your clothes was created from the actual space of the room using the walls as the back and side, with the TV on the top angled down, which made for a sore neck after watching more then 5 minutes. It had a mini frig wich was to large to slide under the desk, […] so it was in the pathway in front of the bed. now would i go there again?? if i were by myself and just needed to lay my head down yes. Convenient location near 75, convenience store just out of the parking lot. Multiple dining options nearby, as well as shopping and a movie theater. Very safe neighborhood. Sits with several hotels/motels in a cluster minutes off the interstate. I would recommend this hotel to business travelers, and perhaps leisure.

First time we used Microtel and were quite impressed. Breakfast included was adequate, but typical of most competitors. We really enjoyed our stay

Clean room, Great window seat with windows that opened, across the street from a Speedway, so was easy to get snacks and such. Very friendly staff...

The room was quite adaquite. The was a hint of anyone smoking in it. It was very clean. The TV was elevated so as you to use all of the pillows to prop yourself up to view it. It didn't provide those little bottles of shampoo,conditioner,lotion but i rarely use them and just take them home to give to the local Abused Womens shelter

Exceptional value for travelers who don't spend a lot of time in their hotel room. Rooms are small but have everything you need including a fridge.

Front desk lady was on her cell phone and not very polite but she did check me in quickly. The room was small but clean, but bring your own blanket. Not hard to find, right off 75. Georgetown is small, had to drive back to Lexington for food. But for the price and the clean room I'd stay again...you get what you pay for.

First when I made reservation i said I needed 1st floor due to my leg issues and my mom being withus. So i go to check in and they had put me on 3rd floor. and elevator was out. I am unable to climb that many flights of stairs!! Also was told in a round about way i lied about being told i could have 1st floor not once but twice. so then they put us […] in room on first floor with 1 bed we had 2 adults one child. one of us had to sleep on the window seat. then when asked for extra pillow and blanket for window seat bed they took them the next morning when cleaned the room. Also i paid same rate for 1 less bed! I am highly irratated and when we have event at horse park next year we wont be staying there!! Staff didnt care about any of issues!!! Les mer
