Very disappointed by the room- needs painted and is generally scruffy. Staff were pleasant but there is nothing they could do about uncomfortable pillows and the shabbiness of the room. Not as good value ( hotel is 3 star) as it should be. Will not choose this hotel again.

We lucked out and got a big room. Saturday night is loud in Spain. People on the street were up til dawn laughing, talking and singing. Really! The bed was extremely hard, and the pillows flat, lumpy and stiff.Location was in an upscale designer area with high end stores, although far from the old city. The room had dark hardwood floors, and at night […] was very dark and glary with the type of lighting. No place to put bags, except on the floor. Could be difficult to bend down for some people. Loved the hotel, location was very good, just a nice 15 min walk to the main drag. Decor interesting, rooms comfortable, staff helpful, the only problem we experienced was our rooms were right next to the breakfast room so it could be a little noisy first thing each morning,not a hugh problem and maybe if we complained the hotel would have switched […] rooms but as we wanted to be up early each day it didnt really matter.On a positive note even tho the Hotel is on a busy road the windows are very well insulated and no noise from outside could be heared once the windows were closed. its a small but very cozy hotel, great location, nice service.

Outstanding in every respect: Amazing value, prime location, modern and beautifully designed rooms. Just excellent in every possible way. I highly recommend the Wilson Boutique Hotel and will stay here again and again every time I visit Barcelona.

we only stayed there for a night it was really clean, and the bed was very comfortable, however the whole room was rather small and parking was quite far, also it was very hard to find it!

The great design of hotel, fantastic rooms, new furniture,friendly spanish people on reception give you ability to feel yourself comfortable all the time you are in the hotel.

recently refurbished rooms, clean and comfortable. the room was as seen on the hotel photos. Did not try breakfast- so no comment on that. 15minutes walk from metro station at pg. gracia, but very good bus service just outside the hotel. great neighbourhood!

Ritzy neighborhood, not a pricey hotel. Overpriced breakfast. Very helpful staff- some more knowledgeable than others. Helped us use local transportation to get to Montserrat- saved a lot doing that. Starbucks around the corner and some great bars. Don't try to find a place for dinner before 8, as there aren't any.

This was our 2nd stay at the Wilson Boutique Hotel. We returned because we had such a great experience the first time. The staff was friendly and helpful. We were placed here by Windstar for a post cruise stay in Barcelona. We wanted to extend our stay in the city and looked at the property online and thought it looked good and so, booked on our own for a couple more nights. The hotel was very acceptable - nice neighborhood, easy public transportation access. Our room was as depicted on the website and […] was clean and serviceable. The Wilson Hotel is a great boutique hotel which offered more than I anticipated for the cost. Nicely located in a safe and busy environment, plenty of shopping and restaurants nearby. Highly recommend staying there. Pictures were true to the rooms since we were traveling with friends, I was able to see more than just the one I reserved.

Never really know what to expect when booking a room over the internet but the reviews on Trip Advisor were encouraging and the hotel more than lived up to them. Very spacious and comfortable room over looking the Diagonal, but with excellent soundproofing never heard anything from the busy avenue outside. Paid 12 euros extra each for an excellent buffet […] breakfast. All in all, a great find and will definitely be back. Les mer

The hotel is in an excellent location for touring. the staff are very helpfull and the rooms are very nice. However, under no circumstances stay on the first floor especially room # 103 unless you want to be wide awake by 6 am every morning. The kitchen is across the hall and the kitchen staff make an incredible amount of noise banging pots and pans […] and talking at the top of their voices. We had a two night break in the hotel. A great location, close to everywhere we wanted to visit. It also felt a 'safe' area. We cannot comment on the food as we did not eat there, but the pavement cafes of the Rambla Catalunya are very close and we used those.

And a great view. We were fortunate to get a room on the round part of the hotel and we're surrounded by windows. The view of the city from every window was great and while in a loud area, when the windows were closed it was very quiet in the room. There was a nice, small, lounge on the first floor that offered snacks and sandwiches for a good portion […] of the day, it was run on the honor system, which worked well IMO. The staff was mostly friendly, but there was one individual that was a bit frustrating to deal with. We had some language barriers, but once overcome, we're able to communicate our needs. The young man that helped us with our bags was very friendly and went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable. The room itself was very nice, large, and had plenty of amenities. The bathroom was very modern and right in the room, only separated by a frosted glass panel, if you're shy or modest, this could be a problem, but didn't phase me or my traveling companion. I would stay here again and would recommend it to others. Barcelona is a great city and this hotel is centrally located to a lot of the sites you'll want to see, but also nestled in a neighborhood with great pubs and restaurants, shopping, and public transportation options. Hotel is located away from las rambla, but transportation is very convienant to get to the popular area. Stayed at this hotel pre and post cruise vacation. Taxi fare cost us around 22 euro from hotel to port,(3 people 6 luggage, and including surcharge for holiday and or weekend.)Staff at hotel extremely helpful and accomadating.Hotel is very clean, […] junior suite catagory fullfilled our needs very well. Room was large according to europe standards. Other reviews state noisy, and non privacy for bathroom area.We did not encounter any of these problems in either room we stayed in. rm 105, and 606 gave us plenty of room and somewhat separated areas between my husband and I, and our son. There are several resturants,cafes,pubs, and bakeries surrounding hotel, and there is a supermarket on road behind hotel. I would definately recommend this hotel to anyone, although if you are looking for a pool,fitness center, and flashy lobby area, this is not your hotel. But if you want clean great room for the price, and ability to get to tourist areas of barcelona, but feel like your in a safe neighborhood, then this is the place for you. The hotel does have an "all day cafe" snacks available,etc. and full breakfast type buffet, but I tend to feel it was a little pricey, being 12euro per person.(like i said there are way too many other cheaper options in the surrounding, walking distance area.Upon arrival and departure the "bellhop" is readily available and will take complete care of your luggage. THe hotel provides free wi-fi, and a small computer station near the front desk with printer, so that you can print airline boarding passes, etc. (all free of charge) This really is a great hotel for the money,its not the ritz, but the cost isnt either. The hotel also has one of the earliest check in times, which is great since so many of the flights arrive in Barcelona well before noon, and the hotels check in time is noon. The hotel itself was very clean and most staff was very helpful and friendly, considering some language barrier. Junior suite to sleep the 3 of us, was by european standards quite large. other peoples reviews stated not privacy for the bathroom. We stayed here pre and post cruise vacation and both times were very clean, comfortable, and seemed pretty […] soundproof to us. and "privacy issue for bathroom in this type of room was not a problem. not sure if single type rooms have a problem. Staff addressed each issue or question we had, you can get to cruise port in about 20 minutes for about 22Euro(3 people 5 luggage) area surrounding hotel seemed quite safe, several shopping and eating possibilites, and ramblas can be reached by public transport easily. can print boarding passes in internet lobby area free of charge, and hotel provides nice toiletries, and blow dryer for those that need it. My only complaint is what i think is too high of a price for breakfast. but several cafe and bakeries very near by and a supermarket in back road from hotel. Lovely modern hotel in quiet neighbourhood, bit far from town centre but we got 10 ticket for metro and did city bus tour. Beautiful city.

The room was clean. Bedding was worn and ok . The hotel clerk was not at all nice, we had to carry our bags into the hotel. We weren't able to sleep all night with the traffic and noise from the street below. We will not stay here again.

Lovely and quiet even though it was on the main route into Barcelona, very comfortable, we enjoyed the walk into the main part of the town. We will use the hotel on our next stay.

I really liked our room and the staff. Our fellow travelers had a very different room. Their room had only a glass separation between the bathroom and sleeping area. Our room, on the other hand, had a whole separate room with a balcony, but the rooms were billed the same. The staff was very helpful.

Staff was kind and polite. Room was clean and comfortable. Windows were soundproof. Breakfast does not worth in hotel but we rather took a small cafeteria in 2 minutes walk. Both metro and bus station are very close. The hotel and service fully worth the price.

Great charming hotel at an excellent cost. Right on the main road in Barcelona (Av. Diagonal). Rooms can be a bit tight but they are clean and modern. Don't skip on the breakfast. Is is fantastic

Hiving visited Barcelona on multiple occasions before, we wanted to have a slightly different viewpoint to see the city from and decided to stay away from the old town and base ourselves in the Eixample district. It was the best decision! This area has bars and restaurants on every corner. You get much more of a feel for the 'real' Barcelona - rubbing […] shoulders with the businessmen and women who work in that area when you're stopping for your cortado and pastelas! The hotel itself lived up to the reviews we had read - friendlily staff, nice clean rooms, comfy bed, and we particularly liked the 'honesty bar' on the 1st floor which had food and drink for the taking up until 1am - brilliant for a late night snack when you come in from sampling the local hospitality! Hotel staff friendly and helpful. Not all staff fluent in English. Room somewhat smaller then expected but balcony helped make it feel larger. Breakfest excellent but would have preferred it be included with room. Bus line at the door, convient to walk downtown and / or short cab ride. I would stay again on my next trip.

this hotel exceeded my expectations, the location was great right in the centre of town next to the touristic bus stops and close to loads of shops, the staff where helpful and they even gave us a room with a little terrace (very appreciated) the hotel seemed to have been recently refurbished the deco was very stylish, if you are coming by car like […] we did be aware that parking is quite pricey in the area and that the hotel has no parking of it's own but has a discount agreement with a local parking, and just to keep this review short for the price i can not fault this place, it was really great value and i am sure you will enjoy your stay there Les mer

En liten hotellpärla som ligger högt upp i Eixamplekvarteret i Barcelona. Vi var där på en affärsresa och hade nära till de flesta affärskontakter, vissa låg bara ett kvarter därifrån. Lugnt och skönt rum beläget mot en bakgatan. Avinguda Diagonal går ju rätt utanför med det var bra isolering i fönstren. Helt nyinrett med det senaste i inredningsväg. […] Det enda negativa var de allmänna utrymmena som var små, receptionen, datorplatsen, frukostrummet. Les mer

Habitación pequeña y mal situada, aunque creo que fue cuestión de mala suerte, a pesar de lo que dijera la recepcionista, ( con poca simpatía )que las de este precio eran todas iguales, carecía de vistas, así como de alguna cosa que se oferta en vuestra pagina y en alguna más: La habitación no dispone de cafetera expreso tal como anuncia la pagina, […] ni tan solo de la clásica tetera eléctrica para calentar agua y tomarte un té o infusión caliente. Detalle de bienvenida inexistente. Preguntado por el bar el domingo a las 21:00 h, el recepcionista respondió que en la habitación había mini-bar. Habitación bastante limpia y el servicio de habitaciones muy bueno. La primera noche pasamos mucho frio pues no funcionaba la calefacción cuando llamamos por la mañana resulto que estaba desconectada. Les mer

Hotel parfait , tarif très correct, mais absolument pas insonorisé avec l'extérieur malgre doubles vitrages. N'oubliez surtout pas les bouchons d'oreilles, m^me si vous avez une chambre sur la rue arrière.

Mit dem Wilson Boutique Hotel waren wir sehr zufrieden. Das Personal ist aufmerksam und äusserst zuvorkommend. Das Hotel ist modern und geschmackvoll eingerichtet sowie sehr gepflegt. Unser Zimmer war tadellos sauber und nett eingerichtet. Das Bad verüfgte über eine grosse Regendusche. Das Zimmer war recht klein, was uns nicht störte, da wir sowieso […] tagsüber unterwegs waren. Obwohl das Hotel an der stark befahrenen Av. Diagonal liegt, ist es im Zimmer absolut ruhig. Die Lage des Hotels im Example ist relativ zentral. Man muss ein kurzes Stück zu Fuss gehen bis zur Metrostation Diagonal von wo aus man schnell in der Altstadt ist. In der Nähe des Hotels hat es tolle Restaurants, die nicht so touristisch sind und dafür vermehrt von Einheimischen aufgesucht wird und dafür auch preislich attraktiver sind. Das Hotel Wilson können wir als gutes Mittelklassehotel vorbehaltlos empfehlen. Les mer

Velmi příjemný hotel v dobré lokalitě (pokud se chystáte na zápas Barcy) -- ovšem není přímo na metru a Barcelonská síť autobusů je sice velmi dobrá, ale zorientovat v ní nám trvalo skoro celý víkend. Pokoj byl čistý, prostorný (měli jsme pokoj pro 3 dospělé osoby). Možnosti snídaně v hotelu jsme nevyužili -- za rohem je bistro a kousek dál Starbucks, […] takže jsme snídali tam. Les mer

Un hotel muy cómodo, con una parada de metro relativamente cerca y situado en un barrio bonito. Nosotros llevábamos coche y no tuvimos ningún problema para aparcarlo por los alrededores gratuitamente; ahora bien, fuimos un fin de semana, supongo que el tema parking se complica los días laborables. Anmeldelserne af dette hotel på nettet har været rigtig gode og derfor fået mig til at vælge det til et 4 dages ophold. Hotellet virker veldrevet og værelserne er pænt store og rene. Vi boede på et standard værelse på 4 sal , hvor vægge og loft er malet sort og indtrykket er dermed tungt og mørkt. Møblerne virker også slidteog toilet og bad er kunadskilt […] fra rummet af en lille glasskydedør. Vask og spejl er en del af selve værelset. For enden af hver etage er der dog et større hjørneværelse, der pga af udsigten hen over vejen ser mere spændende ud. Da hotellet ligger ca 20 min fra havneområdet med bus, vil jeg ikke vælge dette hotel en anden gang. Les mer
