The hotel staff were very friendly and always willing to assist. The pool was closed for renovation but the staff ensured that we were given al alternate place with taxi service. "Damp and uncomfortable"
GRT seems to have the amentities but everything is a bit dingy. The toilet in our room was a bit temperamental, and the ventilation was weak, meaning the room was damp, musty and distinctly smelling of mold. Old food smells permeate the common areas. Probably okay for a night or two, but not comfortable for a long term stay.
easy access,good food,helpful staff,enjoyed our stay.We haven't used all the amenities other than the swimming pool. These amenities are not well sign posted.

My online booking made in Malaysia was attended immediately without hassle and was escorted to our room by an attentive guest relation officer, Shruthi. We immediately felt very relaxed and comfortable with the ambiance. For dinner we decided to have our first non-veg meal at your beautiful […] 'Copper Restaurant' and was attended by waiter Ramesh. His menu recommendation for dinner was superb. The finale was your wide selection of breakfast menu from local to western. Chef Abraham personally met us to get our reviews and was promoting his french dinner gala whereby being a hotelier myself, I was overwhelmed with his marketing skills. Bravo! "Stay at GRT Grand, Chennai"
The Grand Club rooms at the 8th floor provides good privacy, security (security guard at the floor round the clock).and convenience. The breakfast and happy hour (drinks and finger food on the house) are provided at the floor itself and is very comfortable and exclusive.

Excellent stay at this hotel. Thoroughly satifisfied by the service and friendliness of the staff. Only down point is that they still have smoking rooms so be sure to specify for a non-smoking room if you're bothered by the smell (all be it a faint one) of stale cigarettes.
