Kort vei til/fra O'Hare int. flyplass. Utenfor Chicago sentrum, så enkelt å komme seg videre uten å havne i tung trafikk. Koselige og høflige ansatte og Legends sportsbar inkorporert i lobby området for å innta middag og drinker til normal pris. Store og fine rom; litt slitte, men rene. Frokosten var langt over middels med utvidet continental frokost. Fitnessrommet var veldig enkelt, men fikk trent basis. Nabolaget er noe slitent forstads- men virket greit.

Hotellet ligger svært sentralt både for shopping og for å få sett Chicago. Personalet der var superhyggelige, og rommene var helt nyoppusset. Vi hadde rom med parkering, og dette fungerte svært bra. Vi slet med å finne hotellet ut fra GPS, og når vi sjekket inn fikk vi høre at dette var et problem for mange av hotellets gjester (TIPS: Når GPS sier at du har kommet til oppgitt adresse, men du ikke ser hotellet, kjør da rett frem gjennom første lyskryss, så vil du se hotellet et lite stykke etter lyskrysset). Vi anbefaler gjerne dette hotellet for andre!

Hotell valt i utg.pkt pga nær O'Hare-flyplassen. Svært praktisk, to stoppestader frå flyplassen med t-banen (Cumberland). I tillegg lett, rimeleg og kjapt å koma seg med 'blue line' til sentrum av Chicago på same banen. Middels pluss service i skranken på hotellet. Frukost visstnok berre svært lettvint, med 'småkaker' eller liknande. Nytta ikkje dette tilbodet sjølv. Ok reinhald på romma. Var på to forskjellige under opphaldet mitt. Restaurant næraste nabo på eine sida av hotellet, også parkeringsplass knytt til denne, utan at eg fann dette sjenerande. 7 minutts spasertur tek deg til diger supermarknad, der du finn alt du måtte trenga. Også andre småsjapper og ein frisør. 5 minutt til fots til t-banestasjonen. Motorvegen like ved og tidvis flytrafikk over, men gjorde ingenting av betydning. Godt støyisolert.

"OK, but not what I expected"
The hotel was clean and the free breakfast was good. It was my fault but I searched for 4 people in one room, and didn't notice that one of the beds would be a hide-a-bed. This hotel was amazing we stayed two nights with two very small children and it couldnt have been better! The staff was super friendly and when you stay during the week you get free dinner including unlimited wine and beer. Breakfast was amazing both mornings the room was very up to date. We will defintely be staying here in the future!

"Wonderful room"
This was a great room to rest and relax in after a long day of walking all over Schaumburg and Brookfield. The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating, and we were very happy with our choice. Delicious breakfast too!

My husband and I were able to decompress and had a great time. Loved the hot tub & sauna. Comfortable stay, nice people. Will definitely go back The breakfast could use some vegetables though. However you could just stock them in the room kitchen!
"Poor service and uncomfortable beds"
We stayed at the Hyatt house for 1 night enroute to our family vacation destination. The hotel looked quite neat from the exterior with a an aesthetically pleasing entrance and lobby/ breakfast area. We were promptly checked in, but upon arrival at our room we soon discovered that the toilet had backed up. We were promptly moved to another room. While […] the room is pretty spacious and looked neat, the queen bed (actually double) was extremely uncomfortable and creaked all night. The remote control for the TV set did not work, nor did the remote for the DVD. We called the front desk and guest service for extra towels, but had to leave a message on the answering machine because nobody picked up. The towels were never delivered! The breakfast was good with a standard spread expected from Hyatt, so no complaint about this. It was a weekday stay so the price was not fantastic. Therefore for the price and given my previous experience with other Hyatt hotels, i found this one quite sub-standard. Unfortunately, I will make every attempt to not stay at this place again, and sincerely hope that the management of this facility pay extra attention to guest service and bed quality. Les mer

"Hyatt Summerfield Schaumburg"
I stay at Hyatts most of the time when traveling. The Summerfield Suites is within walking distance of most area shopping centers and Woodfield Mall. Everything about our stay was fine except for the lack of any kind of fan in the bathroom. It was enough to give us second thoughts if we ever needed to stay for more than a long weekend, especially since […] we had a studio suite. Shower steam would permeate everything until it dissipated. In the grand scheme of things, this is minor, but it bugged us. Service was good, the room was clean, and the amenities were a nice touch. The service and staff were excellent. The breakfast and snacks were wonderful. My only complaint was that the pool was very cold.
Loved the big room with fridge and silverware. We even found a wine bottle opener!
"Very Satisfied"
A friend and I stayed there to go shopping for the weekend. It was close to the mall and the shops we wanted to go to. We are planning to go back in a couple weeks and this hotel is a must.

I had my high school reunion at Barleycorn which was right across the street and the location was perfect. My room was clean and comfortable but the walls were really thin and I could hear what was going on in the lobby since I was in the room right on the end. But, overall the stay was comfortable and I would stay again if I needed to.

The hotel's location was key for my stay and was very convenient for my weekend. The hotel staff was friendly and for the most part the room was clean. The only negative thing I would say was the pictures were defiantly a lot nicer than the actual rooms. They had more of a "Motel" feel and from the pictures it appeared to be more modern and classy. […] Overall, for location purposes I would recommend the hotel, but not if you are looking for a more upscale/modern feel. Les mer

My husband, 10 year old daugher and I stayed one night and did not want to leave! Modern room with a huge couch and a nice kitchen (we did not use it since we had the full breakfast in the AM). Would recommend this hotel to anyone - very close to Woodfield and other shopping areas!
"spacious suites and great friendly service."
The staff couldn't have been better, making us feel at home. Nice neighborhood, clean spacious rooms, pool, jacuzzi, and sauna too. One elevator wasn't working, our floor had a bad smell from somebody cooking something stinky. Minor glitches for an overall great stay. Avoid John Barleycorn across the street. Noisy, pretentious, and over-priced!

I have many praises and only two complaints. First, the bed was very uncomfortable. My back hurt every morning when i got up. Very odd for me. Second, the dishwasher was broken. I had to wash dishes by hand (even though the cleaning staff was supposed to do that for me). I don't wash dishes by hand at home! Overall, the staff was very friendly and […] attentive. "More like a super8"
I arrived late around 10 at night to check in. I'm a mon-smoker and had to walk threw a group of about 10 people smoking outside and a cloud of smoke. The desk staff made me feel like I was bothering him cause I was checking in. The AC in the room had two settings. On and off. The hallways had a smell of bad cooking and mold. The pool water was in my […] opinion dirty and heavy with chemicals. Our room wasn't cleaned the next day and we had to call down for extra towels. The breakfasts in the morning was good. But there wasn't enough seating and we had to find places to stand and try to enjoy our meal. The morning desk staff wasn't concern with our stay at all and just told me "I was all set" when I handed in our room keys. Not one questioned us about how our stay was or anything. "completed a lovely weekend"
I was in town for a wedding with my husband and two children. My check in was quick and pleasant. The front desk clerk was informative, helpful and polite, she explained my receipt to me regarding an additional misc. hold that appeared (for any damages that may accure, but that would be refunded at check out if all was good). She was also able to assist […] with a direction card to help me get to the airport . Once i got up to the room it was exactly as described on-line. The room was clean and well equipped from the kitchen to the entertainment area to the bathroom. The grounds provide a basketball court which is great for outdoors excercise and breakfast was set up promtly at 7a.m. and it was fine. A few things I noticed were that the bathroom had no exhaust but that is minor and the pool was small (4 1/2 ft. deep) but just enough for young children. In all the hotel stay was lovely. Les mer

"EXCELLANT LOCATION"
The hotel is very close to area attractions, resturants woodfeild mall less than a mile. They served a good hot breakfast. Both the bed and the sofa bed were both very comfortable. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

Convient location, prompt service, and better than average breakfast. Only con might be that it is a fairly busy hotel. We had to keep our fan on during the night to drown out the people tap dancing or whatever they were doing above us.

This hotel is located with walking distance of many fine restaurants, Woodfield Mall and is only 20 minutes from O'Hare.
"Great hotel, needed a couple minor things"
Great hotel with very helpful staff. The breakfast was a little bit busy, but good quality for what was offered. The only real complaint was that like 3 light bulbs were burnt out in the room and the cover on the wall AC unit fell off when we tried to turn it on. Overall though, a very clean and nice hotel with only some minor issues.

The hotel was great--clean, comfortable. The hot breakfast both mornings was very nice with different menus each day. There is a bar across the street that played their music so loud we had to turn on the fan in the room so we couldn't hear the music.
