Hotellet er et nokså greit alternativ for de som ikke forlanger høyeste standard. Servicen var grei, personalet snakka utmerket engelsk, kjøkkenet hadde god, sunn mat, og beliggenheten var like ved en hovedvei. Det tok 10-15 minutter med buss til sentrum, noe som mer føltes som sighseeing. Internettforbindelsen på rommet var noe treg, men da gikk det an å sette seg i et rom i første etasje. Der var det mer enn nok linjekapasitet. Sett i forhold til prisen, så kan jeg trygt anbefale hotellet!
Beliggenhet.
Domina Inn Ilmarine ligger praktisk til nær flyplassen, i hjertet av Tallinn, med gåavstand til Den store kystporten og St. Olavs-kirken. Andre severdigheter i nærheten av dette hotellet er Toomparken og Toomkirik.

"Hotell Domina Inn Ilmarine"
Greit plassert i forhold til gamlebyen, kort veg til det meste. Rommet var litt lite, berre ein stol på rommet, så me måtte sitje i senga den tida me var på rommet. Badet og dusjen var fint. Kunne gjerne vore litt fleire sitteplasser i baren. Litt lite opplysninger om byen på hotellet

If you want a good hotel, for a small amount of money, with almost no walkingdistance to the center of the town, this is the right hotel! A quite new hotel, with good staff, specially in The Restaurant/Bar. This hotel bringes you comfort in soo many ways! Really good Air Condition, SPA, Close to the Sea and the City, Excellent Restaurant and free […] WiFi all around the hotel! But... one of two Elevators where out of order, The WiFi was of bad quality, the minibar was fast empty, and kept soo, the view fast straight on the the shell of the old factory that this hotel is built inside, the staff didn't know how too smile and you couldn't get anything after 22:00.... "Nice hotel, but..."
This hotel is located just a quick walk away from the Old Town gates as well as the ocean. Public areas and rooms look nice, but could use some maintenance. Our bathroom door was very squeaky, the toilet seat was loose and taking a shower required a lot of patience as the water would suddenly go very cold. "Domina Ill Marine, Tallinn - Godt for storfamile"
Vi hadde et flott opphold. Vi, mor og far, barna, fire i tallet og besteforeldre, to stk, storkoste oss i de store rommene (eller mini-suitene), store rom, med soverom i andreetasjen og stue og kjøkken i førsteetasjen (begge etasjene i samme rom). Vi leide to slike rom. Det var kjempebra å ha mulighet til å ha en egen stue og kjøkken å rådslå seg på […] med en langhelg i Tallinn. At det i tillegg var gå-avstand til både gamlebyen og russe-markedet var bonus. Vi gikk flere ganger til både russemarkedet og gamlebyen. Når det gjelder hotellets service-innstilling, må vi si oss fornøyd. Vennlige og serviceinnstilte ansatte. Spesielt hyggelig var mannen som styrte med frokosten. Han var alltid blid og hjelpsom, men det var forøvrig alle på hotellet. Det var vårt andre opphold på dette hotellet, og vi var kjempefornøyd alle sammen. Eneste minus var kanskje at det kostet 400 EEK for en time i badstuen. Det synes jeg var dyrt. Men så mener da også jeg at badstu bør være inkludert i hotellprisen, noe mange andre hotell i Norge og Estland også gjør (men ikke dette). Terningkast 5. Sekseren glapp pga prisen på badstu og ikke helt oppdatert trimrom, og fireren ble passert for den positive opplevelsen barna hadde. Det er ikke alle hotell det er like hyggelig å være på med fire barn. Les mer

For a foreigner in Tallinn, using public transportation and walking, Ilmarinen is a good fit. During Holiday travel season, prices are extraordinary (for the Russian tourists in mind). In the years past, I stayed here for a lot less.

Stayed three nights and was very satisfied; the hotel represents good value for money, it's a walkable disance from the Old Town and public transport as well. I normally don't eat in hotel restaurants but would definitely recommend this one - the food was delicisous!

Hotel was very good value for the money. Nice, clean and quiet and quite close to the old town. One of the nights we tried the hotel restaurant and were very impressed with the food. Almost as good as the food in the Bocca restaurant (another Italian restaurant in Tallinn) but at a much lower price. Just returned from a brilliant 4 night stay at Domina Ilmarine. Found the hotel to be superb value for money. Excellent ambience and spotlessly clean. Staff were polite and very helpful. Breakfast was good and plentiful and all tastes were catered for. Location of the hotel is amazing. Only a short walk into the beautiful old town and close to the port […] for the ferry to Finland. A real must visit restaurant is the Kohvik Moon situated only 3 minutes walk from the hotel. Can't wait to visit Tallinn again. Les mer
"It's ok."
all in all a good hotel with nice staff and location, one of the beds in our room had a bad matrass wich disturbed my girl friends sleep. The breakfast was ok, but not the best I've encountered.

The hotel is just outside of the old walled area of Tallinn - restaurants here are significantly cheaper than inside the walls, including this hotel's restaurant. It was very easy to walk to Fat Margaret to wander around the town, or to take the tram from the adjacent stop to the Kunst museum. This is a great hotel for location, quality of the room and service. It is across the street from the entrance into the Old Town and there is a grocery store and pharmacy a block away. The hotel is a short bus ride from the airport. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff were helpful. "Unpleasant Staff but Nice Hotel"
This was a very nice, clean and comfortable hotel. The young lady at the front counter was unpleasant and not very helpful but I spoke to the manager and had that cleared up. They would not check me in until 2pm but had a room to store my backpack. The hotel is only a mile from the ferry terminal and two blocks from Old Town. "Domina Inn Ilmarine - Great Value and Location"
The Domina Inn Ilmarine is a great value. Location is a short, convenient walk away from the Old Town. It's also a reasonable walk from the Tallink Ferry Terminal. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. It was a bit confusing to find the entrance which is not accessible from the main street. You must enter the stone gate from the side street.

Great location, 2 minutes walk to old town and right beside the ferry to Helsinki which is a great day trip idea when in Tallinn. €2 bus from airport stops at train station and hotel is five minutes walk from there. so handy. Plenty to eat for breakfast but don't get down too late as all the good stuff might be gone! overall good value for money, Nothing […] special about the character of the rooms, its not a plush hotel and there was a bit of cracking on our ceiling but was not something to worry about unless you are very fussy. Showers were really big which was great and industrial character of exterior of hotel is pretty cool. would definitely recommend it if visiting tallinn! Les mer
The location of this hotel is good and close to the old town as well as the Linda Line ferry terminal. The rooms themselves are pretty basic but functional. The staff on reception were frosty at best and the breakfast was basic but sufficient. Stay here if you want a cheap option in a good location. 5 mins walk to the old town and ferry terminal D. Across the road from tram stop. hotel staff were very helpful,they were constantly topping up the breakfast buffet which was excellent. There are some fantastic restaurants, bars and museums within walking distance. A bonus for anyone over 65 is free transport in Tallin and local area on buses,trams and trolleys.Abook of 10 tickets from the KIOSK was only 6.95 euros, good value when a single ticket was 1.6 euros. Was a little tricky to find this hotel but once we did we found it nice and close to the old part of Tallinn. View from our room was non-existent as the hotel is built inside another older building, so our window looked at the back of the outside wall, not that this really mattered! hotel was warm, friendly and clean. Unfortunately the sauna, spa etc […] that we hoped to use had to be paid for separately at quite a large cost. Overall though good value for money and a great stay in Tallinn Les mer
Great value for money here compared to Finland/Sweden. Friendly staff, clean comfortable room and good breakfast. Great location, easy walk to ferry, and just outside the old town. Was a little noisy on the Friday night but it was the weekend!

Found the hotel and staff to be everything you would hope for. The rooms were clean and modern, the hotel had a lot of character being a converted factory (parts at least) and it was very peaceful and relaxing. Our visit was in October so it was relatively quiet which probably helped too. Good breakfast too!

This hotel is in a perfect location for the 5 minute walk into old town, and tram service to the beach ect... I found the staff most helpful, especially Helen and Kuellke. They were superb. The air-con was inoperable at the time, luckily I missed the heat wave.

Hotel located close to old town and easy access to trams. Standard breakfast. Tastefully decorated rooms. Unfortunately my room had very poor air conditioning and my window was locked. Wi-fi didn't work in room and needed cable. Shower tile grouting in need of good clean.

I have stayed at the Ilmarine before and it is an excellent location and an excellent value. However, on this stay I was very uncomfortable. Amazingly, for such a recently renovated hotel, there is no air-conditioning. 362 days a year this is probably no problem as the climate in Tallinn is fairly mild. During my stay, however, it was unseasonably hot. […] The hotel is not air-conditioned, and my room faced in interior courtyard, so my window opened up to the enclosed courtyard and there was no access to outside air. The temperature cooled off in the evening--but no in my room since I had no fresh air from outside--so I had to sweat out the evening in an extremely warm room with no fresh air. I still like this hotel a lot, but I would hesitate to book a room there in July/August in the future. Les mer

Siisti hotelli hyvällä paikalla vanhan kaupungin lähistöllä. Hotellin ruoka edullista ja maukasta. Aamiainen myös maukas. Henkilökunta ystävällinen. Hotellissa sijaitseva kampaamo edullinen ja todella ammattitaitoinen kampaaja!
Отель очень понравился, находится в пешей доступности от Старого города. Завтраки были хорошие- можно было до вечера о еде не думать. Номера убирались ежедневно и очень чисто. Для некоторых может быть неудобством- половина персонала на ресепшене русскоговорящие, другая половина англоговорящие. Так что надо уметь объяснить в двух словах на английском […] что ты хочешь. Вблизи отеля находятся отличные рестораны и пабы. Рекомендуем сходить в морской музей-через дорогу от отеля. В целом отель очень понравился, если поедем еще-то туда! Les mer

Kaikki muutoin erittäinkin ok mutta aamupala oli vähän onneton. Eniten ehkä aamupalalla tökki huoneenlämpöiset leikkeleet ja juustot.

Hyvä sijainti, rauhallinen, mutta silti lähellä vanhaa kaupunkia. Erittäin maistuva illallinen edullisesti.
Erinomainen hotelli aivan sataman vieressä. Aamiainen oli ennen nykyistä parempi.
