Hotellet ble besøkt i februar og benyttet til overnatting mellom to transportetapper. Hotellet leverte bra på alle punkter for renhold, enkelhet, rask og enkel service, og det var ryddig og pent. Ekstra attributter ble ikke testet. .

Ankom hotellet rundt kl. 10.30 på morgenen etter en lang togtur. Innsjekkingstid på hotellet var ikke før kl. 16. Likevel måtte vi bare vente 5 minutter på å få et rom, og resepsjonisten beklaget faktisk at vi måtte vente, enda det var vi som var tidlig ute. I tillegg ordnet de et rom for oss som lå på motsatt side av bygningen for der de holdt på med bygningsarbeid, siden vi skulle være der i 4 netter. Et par timer etter vi hadde sjekket inn og fått slappet av litt, ringte de fra resepsjonen for å høre om alt var bra på rommet. Hotellet har egen shuttle-service rundt om i sentrum, men det meste er i gangavstand. Restauranten ved siden av hotellet hadde også veldig bra mat, og med 7-eleven og liquor store rett over gata har man alt man trenger, selv om byen selvfølgelig har mye mer å by på. Servicen på dette hotellet er ihvertfall upåklagelig.

Såkalt motorhotel. Vi valgte Grouse Inn pga anmeldelser fra andre på hotels.com. 4 netter. Den var midt i blinken for oss som ikke hadde planer om å oppholde oss i rommet, men trengte ett trygt sted med seng og dusj. Vi hadde to queensize beds som var store for å være den str. Rommet var rent, men noe utdatert. De som jobbet der var hjelpsomme. Frokosten var ikke til å skryte av, men om man er småspist om morgen og syntes toast, frokostblanding og kaffe/ te + litt til er ok så er det de har å tilby. Ellers var beliggenheten bra. 1 min. å gå fra resep. til buss som går ofte og tar ca 7 min. Den tar deg til down town vancouver. Vil ikke anbefale å gå (selv om vi gjorde det) pga Lions Bridge som man må passere for å komme til sentrum. koster ca. $2.45 eller $3.75 (helg) Husk eksakt beløp, bussen veksler ikke. Passerer Stanley Park. Eller bruk sykkel, yppelig lagt opp for syklister i Vancouver!!! Grouse Mountain er like ved. Whistler mountain er en MUST SEE! Tar noen timer fra Downtown, eller bli hentet på hotellet. Hotellet er ikke ett romantisk paradis, men har ett basseng dersom du velger å ta med barna. Det så rent ut og ble brukt av andre gjester. Bensinstasjon like ved. Grei pris for beliggenheten, for Vancouver er ikke billig...

Great stay, centrally located downtown and close to mass transit. Nice staff. 2 room space was perfect for family of 2 adults/ 2 kids. Indoor pool was a treat while it rained and has a great view of the harbor. Parking would have been convenient in the building, but very low ceiling height wouldn't accommodate a car with a ski box on top.

I LOVED the gym - best gym I have ever used at a hotel. Bed was very comfy and the frig, microwave and little kitchenette where great to have and yet did not detract from the high end feel of the room. Toiltries in room were also great. "Hidden Gem near convention centre and skytrain"
The hotel is a hidden Gem at an excellent price. It is convenient to the Vancouver Convention Centre and only 2 blocks from the Skytrain. The View was amazing and overall room quality was superior. Beds were a touch hard, pillows perfect and did i mention the view! Downsides....no convenience store nearby or in hotel. I needed an advil and had to […] walk 6 blocks. Also no in room movies. This is a great hotel for seeing all that Vancouver City has to offer. it is close to Waterfront Sky Train. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Facilities include a Reading room, 30m swimming pool and gym. An ideal place to stay!

"Great hotel"
We were very happy with this hotel. Only thing is that they do not have a bell boy for helping to carry baggage, that was a bit strange. Heating unit was noisy and did not heat up the room well. But overall, it was a great room and we will stay if we visit Vancouver again.

"Just a few steps short of being amazing."
We spent two nights at this hotel and we were fairly satisfied. Staff were friendly and helpful. They were willing to work out our requests or problems rather than just saying "no". The room was quite nice. While it did show its age (like the popcorn ceiling) it was kept clean and the furniture has been updated. We stayed at what the staff called "junior […] suite" which is well over 600 square feet and for the price, we felt it was a pretty good deal. Our one-year-old definitely agrees as he got to run around the room without getting into trouble. The location is convenient. Not too far from Gastown, Stanley Park, or Robson Street. Because it's in the middle of the business district, it might be a little too far from the bars and clubs if you were planning on getting trashed and stumble back to the hotel. Parking costs $36 a night. Supposedly it's not as bad as other places but it's still a lot. The staff also forgot to tell us that we can't access the parking lot after-hours without getting the security to open it. No intercom or phone at the parking entrance which is a shame. Overall, the stay was pleasant though not entirely overwhelming. For the price, it's a decent hotel all things considered. Les mer

The service was outstanding at the TC. They held our luggage before and after our stay. Delivered ice & chocolate to our door in the afternoon. Very nice hotel but expensive. We sprung for the view but it wasn't THAT great. I'd stay there again but opt for the cheaper room without a view.
This hotel was just what we needed - comfortable and central, friendly and the dining room was superb. We loved Sheila. We have stayed with you before and we will stay with you again. Dan & Joanna Australia

"hotel close to public transportation"
The hotel was very close to the train and cruise ship dock which allowed us some very nice plases to walk in the evening for exercise and walk to the cruise ship dock to board the following day. The view of the city was less that expected.

This hotel was recommended for its quality and location and did not disappoint Very easy access from airport to hotel by airport train. Hotel staff very knowledgeable about restaurants and services nearby. We could walk to restaurants for lunch and dinner, take the nearby tourist trolley for an easy afternoon, breakfast in Gastown and walk 2 blocks […] to our cruise ship The hotel lobby is pretty spartan, but I hadn't focused on it mostly being a private club rather than a hotel. The hotel room was spacious and comfortable. Full size coffee maker in room. A lovely facility close to all the downtown amenties. Would stay there again and recommend Les mer

While the location was nice, the quality of the room was equal to much cheaper hotels. The floor to ceiling windows did provide an excellent view of the alley, but that was not what I expected for a "city view". I was so little impressed that I stayed one night out of a five day trip.

We enjoyed the hotel because it offered everything we needed to attend the Pacific Dental Conference. This included a location within walking distance of the convention centre and a Tim Horton's on the way to the convention centre. A very nice room. What more can I say?

Great location, 4 minutes walk to the Convention Cetre and about 10 minutes to Gastown. very convenient!Clean and quite room. The service was prompt and friendly throughout the hotel during my stay. The hotel itself was very easy to find, however their underground parking was a little difficult to find initially. The bathroom felt a little cramped and there was some stains/mold in a very small area, however the high pressure shower heads are a definite plus. "3 nights with a harbour view"
I was in Vancouver on business and this hotel was within walking distance to everything I needed. The staff were fantastic. In fact, shortly after I told the concierge about having my wallet stolen that day, she sent a complimentary fruit plate up to my room with a nice card to cheer me up. Although I didn't use the facilities available, there is a […] pool and hot tub which would be great on those rainy days. The buffet breakfast that was included with my room had good variety, was very fresh and the restaurant staff were very attentive. "The Terminal Tower Club Hotel"
The hotel was clean, the Internet was free, and a breakfast was free. IMO, this was a Holiday Inn with Ritz prices. The free breakfast was also available at $15, it was less than a free breakfast at Hampton Inn. Parking is also $28 a day. I wouldn't stay here again because I think you can get more for the money.
"Double Check Before You Go"
Bad Points: We booked this hotel for it's pool. We stayed over the holiday and it was closed. Very limited hours on the spa and pool. Double check it''s open before you go. Also, we parked in the parking garage and that was also closed so we were stranded there without a car. It was fine because you can easily walk to downtown but we had planned on […] driving north that day. Also, the parking garage attendant told us to take a ticket even though we said we were staying at the hotel. We told the front desk when checking in we had taken a ticket. They said it would be the same price. When leaving we found out we got a ticket for parking there overnight and it was actually $30 cheaper to just pay at the front desk and not take a ticket. Why did nobody tell us? Now we have to mail a check to Canada to pay a parking ticket when we parked where the hotel told us to - in their parking lot! Good Points: Beautiful clean hotel. A few blocks from pacific center shopping. The staff gave us a bottle of wine for the inconvenience of the pool, spa and parking garage being closed during our entire stay. They also gave us a tin with yogurt, granola & juice because their restaurant was closed all day. Good service just call and make sure things are open before you go. Les mer
"Perfect location for Vancouver Convention Centre"
The Hotel at Terminal Club City was the perfect choice for my recent conference at the Vancouver Convention Centre. The hotel was conveniently located - close to the Canada Line train that came in from the airport, with shopping, restaurants, the water front and convention centre right at your doorstep. The staff was great. The room was comfortable […] and had a nice view of the harbour. The continental breakfast that was included with my rate was all i needed. My only regret is not looking more closely at the hotel amenities - if I had I would have brought my squash gear! Only negative is that there was a lack of vegetarian options on the menu at the restaurants... so I went somewhere else. Still - I would highly recommend this hotel! Les mer

What a lovely hotel. The staff were excellent and very efficent. Beautiful room. The price was very reasonable. Downtown Vancouver, close to major shopping area and conference centre. No noise, no children perfect for couples. NIce touches - soft bath robes, chocolates and morning paper.

Enjoyed my stay. Was clean and well appointed but like every hotel, there are pros and cons. It's a different kind of hotel, trying to harken back to the days of the "gentleman's club" (not strip club kind though!). So it may seems a little snooty or impersonal to some. I liked: very clean, new furniture, great location, microwaves adn sink in room, […] unobtrusive entrance, generally empty, quiet lobby. They have a lovely pool and spa, and at breakfast I was served by what had to be one of the nicest waiters I've ever met: cheerful, attentive and polite, we ended up chatting for a while as it was early and there were no customers. And it has a billiards room. Oh, and free wirelesss that worked very well. Different things matter to different people but here's my cons: Their amenities list comes with dress codes which seems a bit earnestly upscale but I did appreciate the no cell phone in the lobby (more calm). But really, at it's pricepoint, do you really need to insult your guests by telling them how to dress for a nice dinner or the billiards room? RE: the snootiness--this apparently once was a genteman's club and they have the pictures up on the wall reminicsing its history. Perhaps nostalgia is not such a good idea when one of the 1920's photos shows a rich white guy goofing around dressed like a cartoonish chinese man with some smug kind of caption--not cool, and I wish I menitoned that to the staff so they could remove that photograph from the display case. Getting to the rooms is confusing as is all the other amenities (muliple evelvators, few signs, everything requires a key), and it feels like a dentist's office building until you get to your actual room. The rooms are nice but small--I don't mind this but others might. I had a nice, quiet stay on a comfy firm bed. Overall you would not regret staying here if you embrace some of its quirks. If this is the kind of vacation spot that needs to "just perfect" than it may not suit, but it would work for a layo Les mer

The Hotel at Terminal City is an intimate Vancouver Central Business District hotel convenient to the Vancouver Convention Centre and Canada Centre. It is also near the historic entertainment area of Gastown. The room was of the expected modest size for this type of hotel, but it was comfortable and not claustrophobic. The best features of the hotel […] besides its convenient location are its quietness and the high-pressure shower head to melt fatigue away at the end of the business day. The wet bar with refrigerator is a thoughtful feature. In-room wireless Internet is free, but there was only a single free electrical outlet near the worktable (we needed to charge two laptops). Parking costs extra (added to your room bill) in the lot beneath the hotel (Note: garage only accessible from West Cordova Street). The neighborhood saw a lot of new construction for the Winter Olympics, and the minor inconvenience of new building continues. One other nit was the lack of close-by, non-hotel fine dining open on this early fall Sunday night. Otherwise, an excellent stay and would definitely go back. Les mer
The rooms were clean and nice size with a mini kitchen, but the overall experience wasn't that great. Front desk staff not too helpful. Pool closed for maintenance on our 2nd day. Elevators acted weird a lot!! Location was good. 2 blocks from the bay and walking distance from shops and restaurants. So if you stay here, don't expect much assisstance […] from staff like other big hotels names. Didn't try the food at the hotel so can't comment on that. Les mer
"Good Location"
The location was fantastic. A few blocks from the harbor and Stanley Park. Very convenient to travel to/from Victoria by seaplane. The bathroom had an odor. It was not anything we complained about and probably a unique situation. I would stay at this hotel again.

Terminal City Club is nestled in a perfect location, 1 block from ocean, 2 blocks from Gastown district, great food and shopping. It was Clean, totally updated from the Olympics, and comfortable. Parking was reasonable. The building houses business and private residences as well. "Good find"
We stayed here for one night before we left on a cruise. It was very convenient to the ship and for a much lower price than the ones next door. A nice location with lots of good restaurants and a nice walk along the harbor and to Stanley Park. The fridge and microwave was also nice. I would defenitly stay here again.
