Fint hotell rett ved Highway1 og 7 minutter kjøring til Santa Barbara sentrum. Flotte rom, utrolig gode senger, flott badebasseng-område (med fisker, skilpadder og ender) og god continental-frokost til å være i USA (spesielt vafflene..). Veldig hyggelig og 'serviceminded' betjening. Kan anbefales dersom gangavstand til sentrum/strand ikke er viktig.

Beliggenhet rett utenfor sentrum av byen. Hotellet har store, komfortable rom og et fint svømmebasseng i en hyggelig hage. Vi fikk rom ut mot bassenget, noe som vi likte godt. Butikksenter i gåavstand fra hotellet, bl.a. med en stor dagligvarebutikk.

Helt ok hotell med hyggelig personale. Kjekt med en enkel frokost inkludert, noe som ikke er så vanlig i USA. Litt langt å gå til sentrum med restaruranter og butikker, men mer sentrumsnære hoteller er også dyrere.

"Glimrende lavbudsjett i Santa Barbara"
Billig og bra hotell i Santa Barbara, Ikke vedig sentralt, men greit nok avstand til sentrum. Det er uansett for kaldt til å bade i havet i S.B. i slutten av juli, så avstanden til stranden betyr ikke stort. Hotellet har et helt ok bassengområde for å sole seg og kjøle seg ned. Meget serviceinnstilt betjening. Frokosten er ikke stort verdt for en europeer, […] kun søte kaker, men pluss for gratis kaffe og te hele dagen. Anbefaler suitene, kun noen få kr ekstra, men vesentlig mer plass. Anbefales for barnefamilier. Les mer

Anbefaler ikke dette hotellet. Air condition var meget støyete og virket dårlig, i tilegg luktet det mugg på rommet. Dusjen var dårlig. Det var veldig lytt imellom rommene. Hotellet generellt var meget slitt. Området rundt hotellet var heller ikke noe vakkert syn, og bassengområdet kunne vært mye bedre ivaretatt. "Satisfied and will return"
The room was well maintained, clean, and well appointed. The price was acceptable. The continental breakfast was the weak point with coffe, no juice, and only a modest selection of pastries. That being said, the price is good enough that a short walk to a good cafe will net a good breakfast and still beat the competition.

"Good location; bad hotel"
The hotel is very conveniently located to downtown State Street, and the highway. However, the walls are paper thin, the continental breakfast is barely edible, the front desk staff is not very helpful or responsive to complaints about noise. I will not be staying here again!

A somewhat worn motel. Staff was helpful. Parking was included in the cost. The "continental breakfast" was really just coffee and rolls but the rolls were really quite good.

"Unimpressed"
Supposed to have wireless Internet but it didn't work. Went to the lobby to tell guy at the desk, he said he would have someone check it in the morning which was no help. He said I could just use the computer there in the lobby' which I had to It was soooo slow. Beds were mushy. Wouldn't stay again.
Location is good; free continental breakfast is just coffee, tea and wrapped pastries, nothing exciting. Had to ask for towels again and again even though someone tried to note it on our room record. Price for Santa Barbara is good.
"Complete Misrepresentation * Can't be a Days Inn"
Days Inn you should review this property and jettison it ASAP. RATE it ZERO but not on the scale. As a commuting Airline pilot I stay in DAYs Inns' 50+ times per year. THIS PLACE IS WAY BELOW YOUR STANDARDS. I was guaranteed "balcony with pool view".. I got a one story motel built in the 50s with a view of a crappy alley. ! Managment said "too bad" […] . You should not patronize this place. The furntire was from a boy's room from 50 yrs ago. the beds worn out, bathroom had no window shades so you're up by 545am with the direct sunlight where you liked it or not. The entrance door had 3/4 inch spaces all around it letting unabated noise dust and light in. BREAKFAST INCLUDED>> funny, they had 6 individually wrapped sweet rolls and instant coffee packets.. That's breakfast ??!! NOW THE FINALE. Since it was an old MOTEL, the parking is literally 10 ft from your door. TWO one ton Diesels idled for 30 mins at our front door at 0445am and again at 0520am, !! This after the 0100am partyers' were slamming doors in the paper thin walled building for half an hour. ! Don't paint and clean the place, TEAR IT DOWN and quit misprepresenting yourselves as something you're not. Les mer

"Bedding"
The blanket on the bed was VERY old and used, it was pitted and looked dirty even though it was not. The bedspread was old too. The personel were very nice and the AM coffee and pastries very nice.
My husband would have liked having a table in the room with another chair.

We are talking Santa Barbara! This place is safe,clean,great location,right on the main street, mostly friendly staff, and the price is right.
This hotel was a few miles from main shopping area. It was very clean and well kept . Price was a bit high . Overall we we're satisfied with our stay

The desk clerk was very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. It was walk-able to the downtown area on State Street, though it would have been nice to be 3 blocks closer. I'd stay here again.

Hotel was ok, but just. There was a hole in the bedside lamp's shade. The furniture was old, scratched and stained. the bedding was old and tired. But, all in all, it was clean, conveniently located and was fairly quiet. The rate was low average for Santa Barbara, but high for much of the rest of the country.

Days Inn should be called the Pig Pen Inn. I'm a single man who lived in a fraternity house so not much bothers me. This being said, when you have to walk around the room in sandals and the water markings on the shower are in Sharpie you know you have a problem. I kept pictures and may post on Facebook. Came up for the day on the train from San Diego. Staff was nice room clean and comfortable,basic room, no frills all though did have small refridgerator

Great room for the money - plenty of space for all four of us. Great value for this area! We were up on the 3rd floor (top) so road noise was minimal.

I chose this hotel because it was less than 2 miles from the SB Bowl and I wanted to be able to walk to the concert. The location was great. We were in walking distance from great shopping and food. The hotel was clean...no bells and whistles but we didn't spend too much time there anyway. The bed was comfortable and the traffic noise was not noticible […] and we had a room that faced State street. I will stay here again the next time we come in for a concert. Les mer

"Good and Affordable"
We spent the few nights right in the centre of town for more than double the price. But to be honest, this hotel has everything you need, it's clean, its a good price and it's just a stroll to down town santa barbara. Lets face it, you hardly spend much time in the hotel really. "Comfort Inn -Santa Barbara"
Wish the pool would have been open a little later. The parking places were very small, but it was nice having covered parking. Our room could sleep 4, but there were only two cups by the coffee pot, and none in the bathroom. Very clean, which we liked. I would go there again when I attend a concert at the Santa Barbara Bowl - great location!

Nice location downtown within walking distance to restaurants and museums. Fresh coffee and muffins for breakfast. Their is a small market across the street.--which was convenient. Old facility--we stayed in one of the "cottages" that was dated, but clean. The bathrrom looked like it was recently updated. Hotel staff could use some customer service […] training. When we arrived for check in, the desk staff didn't acknowledge us for several minutes while they finished their conversation. Les mer

Check-in was quick and the room was very clean with no signs of wear for such an established hotel. Main attraction was proximity to all the good restaurants/shops/nightclubs just 3 to 7 short blocks away.

shampoo bottle was so small not enough for two people. shower no tub. I can tell it had been a smoking room at one time. The bed was nice and it was clean good parking nice pool.

"Great location, room dusty in need of renovation"
Great location near downtown Santa Barbara; walking distance to shops, restaurants, and the Arlington Theatre. The hotel itself is not in the best condition. The lobby is decently renovated, but the rooms left MUCH to be desired. As my boyfriend sat in one of the two old chairs in our room, I noticed a literal PLUME of what appeared to be smoke, it […] was DUST! I'm not joking, it scared me! I'm sure the room was as clean as staff could manage, but with such old furniture, it was pretty nasty. Good location for the price, just don't expect too much. Les mer

"gute lage - zimmer ok"
sauberes bad, zimmer scheinen allerdings überaltert. preis-leistungsverhältnis ganz ok - zimmer lag an lauter strasse - es gibt aber auch welche, die sich zum innenhof orientieren - lage war gut - direkt an der haupt-einkaufsstrasse - freie parkplätze vorhanden

Ældre hotel med gode store værelse (op til 5 personer). Fin pool og gå-afstand til centrum. Elendig morgenmad.

sehr zentral gelegenes, aber trotzdem relativ ruhiges Hotel. Feundliches Personal. Für ein Stadt-Hotel sehr schöner, im Innenhof gelegener Pool. Kostenlose Parkplätze.
