This was a lovely hotel. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble. We were upgraded to a 2 bedroom apartment which was lovely. It was very spacious and right next to the pools and beach. Soft drinks in the mini bar were free which was a real bonus. It's located in the center of Aqaba which made it easy to stroll round […] the shops and go to a local restaurant. The cafe on the beach did lovely food such a Caesar salad, fish & chips, mezze, pasta etc which were £5 to £10 a main course which I felt was good value. The beach was lovely with plenty of sunbeds and shades. Altogether a fantastic place to stay Les mer

The staff was very nice and helpful. They upgraded me to a beautiful suite and soothed my nerves after a difficult trip to Petra. I had a truly WONDERFUL time at the Movenpick and very much wish I had spent more time there. The facilities are incredibly beautiful, clean, and well maintained. The staff is accomodating, polit, and helpful

Arrived at the hotel early (9am) planning to visit Petra before 'officially' checking-in. Our Petra plans changed, so we sat around the hotel for a few hours. We were given 'towel cards' to enable us to enjoy the pools. I went to reception at midday to see whether a room might be available, even though check-in isn't til 3pm. I was asked to come back […] an hour later, which I did, and we were upgraded to a suite! I made it clear that I wasn't complaining! The staff at reception couldn't have been more helpful or polite, qualities that staff throughout the hotel exhibited. Les mer

Fantastic hotel. Nice private beach and pools. Plenty of restaurants to choose from, staff were friendly and the gym looked nice as well. Loads of Children around when were there - not sure if this a normal thing or because we were there over Eid. But all in all we had a great stay!

Tub is unusally small and the light switch setup is frustrating. I found the internet charges to be quite high in comparision with other Movenpick properties. This chain has always upgraded me to the next level without charge, quite nice.

The staff at this hotel made this trip. The service is incredible. The chefs in the Palm Court took the trouble to explain all of the foods available, the pride in their cooking was so evident. We were spoiled by the staff at the Red Sea Grill as we ate with fantastic views. We never go to the same place twice but may make the exception here! This is a very professional and efficient hotel. Systems work, the staff are friendly and the facilities are modern and well maintained. On arrival at 9 in the morning I was told that, while my room was not yet ready (I didn't expect it to be since check-in is at 3.00), it had been upgraded and, when I inquired about somewhere to eat was offered a complementary […] breakfast buffet. Great customer service! The two-room executive suite was spacious with outstanding views, a fruit tray and personal welcome from the manager. Room service was always timely and the food quality very good. The breakfast each day was full of variety and coffee constantly filled. The only blight was on checkout when I was double billed for accommodation and charged for the complementary breakfast - while this was quickly fixed, the lack of an apology and the fact that such an error could have occurred was surprising given the standards to which I'd previously been exposed. Otherwise, an impressive hotel and one which suits all kinds of travelers, including families. Les mer

Great hotel at an excellent location. A lot more affordable then nearby Eilat and better quality as well. The hotel is in the city centre and provides excellent service. The service element is taken to a level beyond my personal comfort, but I am sure many people appreciate it. Lives up to 5-star rating. Staff bend over backwards to ensure you have a great stay. Hotel is immaculate and the food was excellent. Really lovely stay and would return in a heart beat.

As family of 5, with teenagers we were all very happy with our stay here, comfortable, great facilities including gym, easy access to sheltered beach and pools - very friendly and helpful staff, we had an excellent stay

The quality of service in the hotel is quite poor, we had issues both with the house keeping and the service in the restaurants. It may be that they were quite busy for the new year preparations, but the hotel seems very understaffed in key areas, and some of their staff doesnt seem to have the right training. When we complained, they did make one of […] our meals complimentary and send the house keeping to clean our room again, but it wasn't perfect even the second time. Les mer

We stayed at both the Intercontinental and the Movenpick in Aqaba and this one was by far the better of the two. We were greeted with juice upon arrival, service was eerily fast when calling for something from the room. The facilities were immaculate and opulent. The grounds by the pool and the beach were lovely and quiet. The staff has the sense of […] warmth and hospitality that makes you feel like you belong and they also understand anticipating the little things - like noticing your pool towel is wet from a splash and replacing it without asking. This was our first tiem in Jordan. Our holiday was mainly beach-based, with a few boat trips and a day at Petra and Wadi Rum thrown in. The beach was lovely and the water was crystal clear with excellent snorkelling nearby. There were plenty of activities and excursions available, or you could do nothing and laze on the hotels beach, sipping coold rinks […] watching the boats go by. The hotel staff were all, without exception, friendly and helpful without being too pushy or obsequeious. Aqaba as a town did not have a great deal to offer, but with Petra and other delights only an hour and a half drive away, who cares? Les mer

Not cheap, but well positioned and with friendly, helpful staff, the Movenpick Aqaba is a good choice if you want to stay in Aqaba itself. Closer to the town centre than some of the other top hotels and with its own beach and 3 pools, it has everything you need. Food and drink are not cheap here though so do take advantage of the hotel's great location […] and go and explore the local shops and restaurants, which are much cheaper and very good. It has a complementary shuttle bus which goes back and forth from the other Movenpick down the coast, which guests can use for free which has a bigger beach and loads of pools. Great for a day out, but the other hotel is in the middle of nowhere! Les mer

Great service from the Movempick. Not a whole lot to do in Aqaba, but I'd go back just for the hotel. One knock to note, trying to get checked-in at 3:00 was a hassle. It just took quite a bit of time with the crowd, so my wife and I decided to wait it out and go grab a rum and coke at the bar. But coming from Israel which is known for its poor customer […] service, the friendly and motivated staff at the hotel was a breath of fresh air. Thanks! Les mer

Excellent hotel, service, location with a resort atmosphere. If anything was needed, help was there in 5 minutes. The facilities, even the elevators, were beautiful designed with a luxury feel. I will stay at a Moevenpick hotel again, and again. January was a good time to visit Aqaba. Weather was sunny and shirt sleeve comfortable.

Absolutely beautiful hotel. Heated pools which made a difference in December! Great breakfast. Good kids facitlites- playground, pool, kids club. We are already planing our return trip just for this hotel!

The hotel is very nice and one of the best ones in Aqaba. However, it is a little aged and could use some updating here and there. The pool area is nice, but quite a walk from the main building (across the street in an overpass). The beach is nice and well kept. The rooms are well appointed and the free mini bar and impressive TV Channel selection […] made a great impression. Also, the toiletry items are high quality (Dead Sea Products) However, the cleanliness was questionable, as I found hair in the bathroom, and big dust balls in the corners of the room. The bathtub was chipped and the shower hose broken which led to water spraying throughout the bathroom. There are numerous restaurants at the hotel, but it turned out that the menus are almost identical in all of them. At the breakfast buffet there were so many people that it was nearly impossible to find a table and get the food you actually wanted. All this aside, the overall impression of the hotel is a good one. Friendly staff, warm welcome, nice grounds. I would go back! Les mer

The Moevenpick in Aqaba is nice ... but that's about it. The private beach is very small, and due to its location on the Red Sea, your view consistently includes two to three barges and/or oil tankers. Not the most pleasant sight. Also, the housekeeping was not satisfactory - did not restock my coffee/tea, my towels or my complimentary water each morning. […] They barely even tidied the room. BUT - what saved the trip is the chance to use the facilities at the other Moevenpick in Tala Bay. About 20 minutes away, but amazingly beautiful and relaxing - exactly what a vacation on the Red Sea should be. I wholeheartedly recommend spending the extra money to stay there, unless you absolutely have to be in Aqaba for some reason. You will not be disappointed. Les mer

Hotellet var trevligt, med fräscha lokaler och allmänna utrymmen. De ordande med resor om man ville utforska sevärdigheterna, dock så fick man betala för nöjet jämfört med om man skulle ordnade det själv. Vi spenderade långa sköna dagar vid hotellets privata strand (den offentliga var inte så fin) & pool områden. Överlag en väldigt lyckad semester.

Hotel idéalement située, pas tout à fait le grand luxe 5 étoiles mais largement siffusant. Mention spéciale au petit dej très très copieux, la chambre correct avec qlq défauts, personnel très sympa et hospitalité locale garantie, seul point négatif le wifi payant dans les chambres (incompréhensible pour un hôtel 5 étoiles)

goed hotel, met heerlijk zwembad en eigen strand. Personeel is gedienstig en vriendelijk. De taal blijft een probleem te weinig en slecht engels wat vooral storend is bij de roomservice, ontbijt en algemene vragen.

Mit bedste ophold på et hotel 5 stjerner har de fortjent, men det kunne blive endnu bedre hvis de næste gang havde en top-madras på seng, ved ikke om jeg selv er for godt vant, men forbedringer har man altid plads til :-)

Hotellin sijainti hyvä. Aamupala oli todella runsas ja palvelu pelasi hotellissa todella hyvin. Olimme varanneet standard-huoneen, mutta saimme 83 neliöisen sviittiin samaan hintaan.

Gedateerd hotel. Straalt luxe uit maar is in zijn catering niet veel meer waard dan een upgrade van een gaarkeuken. Grote refters zonder enige vorm van privacy of sfeer. Koud, kil en onpersoonlijk. Vriendelijk personeel. Begrijp goede quotering niet zo. Zou beter scoren dan het zusterhotel in Tala Bay terwijl deze Moevenpick van een heel ander niveau […] is. Bästa tänkbara service, både vad det gäller rumsstädning, frukost och personalen i receptionen. Fint poolområde. Restaurangen är lite dyr jämfört med andra ställen i staden, men trevlig.

Siisti hotelli, palvelut toimivat suhteellisen hyvin. Merenranta- alue oli hieman vanhanaikainen. Saunaosastolla oli ( miesten saunassa ) ummehtunut haju. Hyva ja monipiolinen aamupala. Janoisille oli tarjolla myos muita virvokkeita. Toiseen alueen Moevenpick hotelliin oli toimiva kuljetus. Oppaat olivat asiantuntevia ja ystavallisia. Pikalinjabussit […] esim. Ammaniin lahtivat aivan hotellin vieresta, suosittellaan muillekkin. Les mer
