Best Western Plus Cold Spring - Plymouth

Nice, clean and friendly staff. A great place to stay in Plymouth. Plymouth was in fact a nice little town. Easy to get anywhere in the cape from Plymouth, but the beaches around Plymouth are not the best.

Great Location. Smack in the middle of it all.I wanted to take home the beds and pillows, so so comfortable! Very clean, we Loved it and will stay again!

The hotel is well located, well run, and has a very nice New England feel. For the price we were very impressed. The bed was very comfortable, the staff helpful, the complimentary buffet breakfast good. The beach is a block away so why pay far more to eliminate a nice stroll.

Great place, very clean. Room I stayed in almost seemed like a cabin. I really enjoyed everything except the shower. Very tight and confining shower. Bathroom itself was very small. You have to stand to the side to open the bathroom door all the way. Other than that, great stay

This was a very well-maintained hotel with terrific breakfast included in the fee. All people working for/with hotel were extremely friendly. Wish we were there when the pool was open. Looks wonderful. Back rooms up on hill have view of water from public balcony.

This isn't a luxury hotel, but it doesn't market itself that way. We were there for one night to visit Plymouth and the surrounding sites. The service was friendly and efficient, the room was comfortable, free breakfast was great, and the cost was very reasonable. Also they had free wifi which was nice too. We really enjoyed our stay. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfasts provided were plentiful and much much better than just juice, coffee, and a roll. The location was perfect for visiting all of the museums, historic landmarks, and shops. Would stay there again when visiting Plymouth.

In fact the entire place from the parking lot to the breakfast area was extremely tidy and well maintained. I was questioning the previous reviews , all 4-5. This room was one of the best we have stayed in. Beds were exceptional. Room was good sized and clean. It had a modern flat screen TV which allowed us to connect the smart phone to the TV with a HDMI cable so we could watch a couple of recent run movies. Staff was friendly and helpful. This is a superb family run hotel, configured as a motel by it's history but lovingly run by the management/owners and staff to a very high standard. We were unable to take advantage of the swimming pool because of the season but are sure that it would meet the high standards in the rest of the campus. Room cleanliness and comfort was excellent. Our first room had very little heat so we were moved to another room with the same problem. It took over three hours to get comfortable.

Very clean overall in the room, dining area and front desk. Breakfast was excellent, lots of choices and food quality was good. Attractive landscaping and great location to visit Plimouth Plantation, the Mayflower and Plymouth Rock. Clean and comfortable room that is exactly as you would expect from Best Western. Hotel is within easy strolling distance of downtown Plymouth and the waterfront area and within easy driving distance of Cape Cod. Superb, friendly service from hotel staff. Good selection of items in buffet breakfast.

Great hotel, rooms are clean and big with all the comfort you need (refridgerator, micro wave, A/C, heating....) Only the breakfast room is very small and the offers are not that great. But great, even with kids a good place to stay!

The individual cottage styled rooms were a pleasent surprise.Our room was comfortable and quiet with a lovely garden view. The hotel surroundings were immaculately kept. Staff were very efficient and friendly. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and be happy to use it again.

This Best Western Hotel was a real surprise at how beautiful the grounds were even in Oct. Our room was very clean and furnished with plush towels and comfy beds.

the hotel is intrinsically well maintained but the stay was spoilt by a smell of damp in the room which did not really subside during the 3 days and by smells of sewage/manure outside, which were exacerbated by rainfall.The breakfast room is inadequate for the number of rooms- 2 mornings we could not get a seat and carried breakfast back through the […] rain to our room. this is a motel type hotel with rooms in 2 storey blocks- it is noisy when the adjoiming or above room toilet is flushed and when the bath is emptied. A dark musty cabin. Small bathroom with minimal toiletries. Do it yourself breakfast - and tidy up after yourself. Not my idea of a good hotel I'm afraid.

The hotel was in the perfect place....convenient to Boston by bus or train and easy for travel around Plymouth. The free breakfast was the best we had our whole 2 weeks in New England ! The room was clean and comfortable....beds were great. The staff was friendly and helpful. We will return again without a doubt !

The hotel located few minutes driving from the coast. The room was clean and comfortable however the aircondition was very noisy.

The set up of this hotel was unique-there were different buildings across the property and ours was at the top of the hill that the hotel was on. The room was nice, but it was a bit chilly out and we couldn't figure out how to turn on the heat (there were separate units for the A/C and heat). Hotel has a nice layout, with several buildings that make up the entire campus of the Best Western. Once you check in, you must drive to your designated building. The particular building I was assigned to was at the top of the hill. My room was located on the second floor of the building. No elevator to the second floor, so I had to carry my suitcases […] from the car, to the building, up the stairs, to my room. Once in the room, I found out that the toilet didin't flush right. (Courtesy of the previous guest). Also, if you were expecting a hot shower, think again. The water was barely even warm. I was quite aggravated, but was only there 1 night. The next night, I moved to another hotel. Checkin was pleasant, as was the gentleman who gave us the map to the hotel. Didn't stay long enough to have breakfast. Les mer

1) Loved having the microwave and mini-fridge. That allowed us more freedom to decide whether we wanted to eat food from the local grocery store or go out to eat. Definitely helped with our travel budget. 2)Loved the complimentary breakfast bar. This was an excellent hotel. Room was very clean and neat. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Location was central to downtown Plymouth and a short walk to Plymouth Rock and the Mayflower II. Just one small comment , though. The second floor decking felt a bit punky, maybe they will replace the decking during the winter? Otherwise, would definitely […] stay there again ! We stayed in room 11 in the original section of the hotel that dates back to the mid 1900's. From the outside, the original rooms ( rooms 5-18 ) are nicely updated to blend in with new rooms in new wings. Unfortunately, when we opened the door to room 11, we were met with an overwhelming old, musty smell. The odor permeated the room regardless of opening […] the windows and doors. The hotel was booked or we would have moved to a new room and it was too late in the day to start looking for another hotel, so we spent a very unpleasant night. Les mer

Good location to the sights of Plymouth. Helpful information with map provided by the front desk with a recommendation of a nice cafe on the harbor for lunch. Clean and very comfortable. Great breakfast included. My only suggestion - the room had a stale smell that a good airing out would have helped. I would easily recommend this hotel, though.
