Veldig stilig hotell, tøff arkitektonisk og pene rom. Små minus på rommet er en dusj som lekker slik at man må tørke en vannpytt etterpå, samt en lite kald minibar. Altså bare bagateller. Bra rengjøring. Grei service på hotellet, men intet mer enn hva vi ba om. Noen ganger er jo det helt ålreit. Frokosten er dyr og asketisk. Varmretter må man betale tillegg for. Men den er likevel å foretrekke fremfor de elendige restaurantene og frokostmenyene på la rambla (hold dere unna all mat på la rambla). Beliggenheten er upåklagelig. Kort oppsummert et hotell som absolutt er fire stjerner verdig. Stilige rom. Anbefales.

Jeg og min mann overnattet på Alexandra hotell i forbindelse med 4 dagers miniferie til Barcelona. Hotellet hadde ypperlig plassering i forhold til både serverdigheter, shopping og restauranter. Kan anbefale restaurant Cervecería Catalana som ligger 1 minutt fra hotellet (Mallorca 236), her har de nydelig tapas! Ellers var personalet strålende, både i resepsjonen og i baren. De kan mye om byen og snakker godt engelsk. Rommet er moderne inredet og vi fikk en liten balkong der vi kunne nyte morgen solen. Dusjen er herlig, med stor "overhead" dusjhode. Eneste minus må være at sengen var litt hard. Barcelona er en fantastisk by og et opphold på Hotel Alexandra kan absolutt anbefales som et godt utgangspunkt.

Kjempefin tur med 3 venninner. Sightseeingbuss, shopping, fortauskafeer, gode måltider og avslapning på hotellets tak og basseng. Fortauskafeene utenfor hotellet er også veldig ok med hyggelig betjening.

Very clean, quiet, close to La Rambla and metro stations. A little difficult to find as it is on a quiet street, but overall, a good hotel at a great value.

The Hotel is located right in the centre close to Las Rambas in a very quite street. Hotel staff very friendly. The room are simple but with a modern decoration. We found it a bit small for a double and a single bad. The toilet very modern and clean Breakfast included with a very good selection of products. Parking space is available near by for a […] 25 euros per day however the hotel street is only allowed for taxis. if you drive with a car, you would have to park and walk with your bags on. "Excellent Location"
This Hotel is in an excellent location, minutes from the Ramblas and Plaza Cataluya. Shopping everywhere, and stores all arround. Easy to public transportation and one block away you find a local supermarket where you can buy all your needs at an affordable price. Would stay here again. the only draw is that breakfast is very expensive.

Perfectly situated on a quiet street directly off Las Ramblas, couldn't find a better location, very friendly staff. The hotel itself was very clean and comfortable, we would definitely recommend this hotel as it is in walking distance from everything, even the beach!!

The street name is not correct and it was hatd to find but once we found it was wonderful and very confortable after traveling for a full day. Calle Duc is the name on the street sign, right next to the square they found roman artfacts.

I stayed at the Victoria on August 4th, 2011 for a pre cruise night . Wonderful location just a few blocks from La Rambas. They got us checked in when we arrived on Thursday morning at around 10:30 AM. It was wonderful after a long flight from the states. Great location. Didn't eat there so I can't comment on the food. We were very pleased with this hotel. Family stayed at Hotel Colon and we decided to stay at a less expensive but nice place. They ended up with problems and we had a fantastic stay. The hotel was perfect for what we wanted - it was right by Las Ramblas and literally a 5 minute walk to Catalunya. Excellent location to see Gothic area of Barcelona. We took a cab because we weren't sure of the trains and other transit available. Be prepared to walk in about three blocks because the area is pedestrian traffic only. Signage is very discreet, so check the walls! The breakfast was excellent if you wish to stay in the hotel to eat, but you can eat […] for less from local shops. Don't expect a N. American breakfast, but they will cook eggs to order if you wish. We found the staff helpful and friendly and would certainly stay again because of the location and ease of access to public transit. Stayed over the night at this hotel in Barca, it is quite a distance from the airport so will cost you a bit if travelling by taxi, although the bus stop is about a 5min walk. Bit difficult to find the hotel is not familiar with spain as it is hidden between the many shops and there is no real road names. The hotel is very conveniently located. It's only minutes from the Cathedral, Los Ramblas, Placa Catalunya, and many other sites. It was clean and quiet with a good breakfast. The only complaint was the air conditioning which kept the room cool but so humid (when it wasn't outside) that the sheets felt actually wet.

This hotel was very good in a central location. 5 mins walk from Place Catalunya and just off Las Ramblas in a very quiet pedestrian area but difficult to find. Some taxi drivers don't know they can drive to the hotel and we were dropped on Las Ramblas. As the name of the street was not on our Booking Confirmation and no prominent sign outside we had […] great difficulty finding it. Even the police had difficulty. This hotel is located just off La Rambla, about a 2 minute walk, but it's tucked off on a smaller street so that it's quiet at night. It's located about 3 minutes walk from Placa de Catalunya where you can access a metro station with several lines and where the Aeroport bus drop-off. From the metro stop here or at La Rambla you can easily get to all […] of the sights in about 15 minutes. The front desk staff was very helpful and spoke fluent English. We didn't eat the breakfast at the hotel but the front desk was able to suggest good places. The room was comfortable, the beds a bit hard, but fine. We were able to look out onto a quite street. It was a good size by European standards. The king bed is two twins pushed together but this was fine as I was traveling with a friend. The bathroom is well updated, a bit small to have two people at the same time, but fine. We didn't hear noise from any of the other rooms. Overall, I would say that this hotel is in a perfect location and very convenient to restaurants, the metro/bus lines and the sights of Barcelona. It's also very easy to access from the airport. This hotel is in a prime location just a couple of blocks from the Placa de Catalunya and right in the center of the old town. Staff is friendly, helpful and they speak very good English. Rooms are small, but more than adequate with beautiful wood floors and updated bathrooms. This is my second stay and I would definitely book there again.

This hotel is great, it is in an ideal location (not even 2 minutes to Las Ramblas) and is clean, comfortable, and affordable. The only thing i would have to say about it is that is on a very quiet side street - great as its quiet at night time but bit of a scary walk in the early hours of the morning! We went here in January so i can imagine that the […] street leading up to the hotel would be quite busy in Spring/Summer. Also, no tea and coffee making facilities - but loads of cheap coffee shops around! I read reviews prior to coming to the hotel about it being hard to find, my advice is to check it out on Google maps before you go - we found it instantly! if you get off the shuttle bus (or taxi) at Placa Catalunya and walk down the Ramblas (left side) its the first left and then the second right as far as i can remember! NH Duc de la Victoria is located just 2 min from Catalunya Metro Station & a min walk away from La Rambla, the hottest tourist strip. Many attractions are found along this strip, so its a good choice to stay near the strip to venture around. It is also near the Catalunya bus stop where you can take bus no. A1 to & fro El Prat Airport, so you can save […] on taxi fare. The only con is that they don't provide you with a kettle. We got to ask for it as we longed for hot tea at the end of the day from the cold weather. Everything about our 4 day stay at this hotel was excellent. The location is on a quiet street a block from the La Rambla and two blocks from Catalunya where the bus from the airport makes its last stop. Room was great with a small balcony. Free wifi but only if you have a laptop. Computer terminal available for a hefty fee.

The location is tough to beat, and the hotel was extremely quiet - my wife and I slept very well. It would be nice to have free wifi in the room but at least it's available in the lobby (maximum 30 minutes per day though).

The hotel saved my trip home. I left my passport on the desk in the hotel room. I called from the Barcelona airport and the hotel put it in a taxi and brought it to me in plenty of time! Great service! The hotel is in the best location in Barcelona! It is a quiet street right in the middle of the old district and a few blocks off Las Ramblas.

Une des très bonnes surprises de ce weekend, c'est l'emplacement de l'hôtel: à 150 mètres de la cathédrale, la localisation est idéale et très centrale! L'accueil a été très bon lors du check in.
