Hotellet hadde glimrende beliggenhet for oss, som skulle til Mounten Brook, et rolig strøk. Enkelt å finne, 15 minutter å kjøre fra flyplasse. Rommene var fine, men som familierom litt små. Meget god service og personlaet var imøtekommende. Rommene var rene og pene, men som sagt litt små for 4. Fin og god frokost. Anbefaler absolutt dette hotellet. Vi lå der i 7 dager, tre dager lenger enn planlagt, bla fordi vi likte hotellet. Rundt hotelet har du det du trenger av butikker, enkle spisesteder etc. Med 10 minutters kjøring har du enda flere alternativer. Litt å kjøre til sentrum.

"Not so good this time"
We have stayed here before and it was very nice. This last time the bath tub was dirty and I had to clean it muddy prints on the shower stall . Two groups was above us on the 2nd floor and kept us awake til 3:30 am. It was Saturday and we had to get up the next morning for church. They must be remodeling, there was a dumpster at our door.

"Basic comfort"
We slept well. I like it cold, but my son does not. The thin bedspread was not enough for him. But the beds were comfortable, the bathroom in good shape, items in good repair. We would have liked eggs with breakfast, but otherwise it was plentiful.
"A Smokers Hotel"
Asked for a non-smoking room was put in a smoking room. When we asked to change rooms the lady came to the room and said this is a non-smoking room. I pointed out the obvious ashtray at bedside. She sniffed the ashtray and said it didn't smell like cigarettes.

"DO NOT STAY HERE"
I rarely give a negative rating. The rooms here are not worth it at all. I am out of town more than I am at home. I have learned to not be overly picky about my hotel. The first room they put me in was awful. It was dirty and had an awful smell. The 2nd room wasn't much better if any. I didn't get in town till late and was tired of moving so I stayed […] there. Didn't get to sleep till after 1am because the people on both sides of me were up late. I can't say they were being overly loud, but the walls are so thin you can hear someone having a regular conversation perfectly clear. There was a wet spot near the bathroom sink that apparently had been there awhile and probably accounted for some of the smell. I was suppose to be there all week, but checked out the next day and stayed across the street. I will be in this area for the next 6 weeks and will sleep at the office before I stay here. "Early Flight-Great Location"
I had an early flight & its right at the airport. The room was nice (single king, couch, fridge & microwave) POOL WAS "DOWN FOR REPAIRS"!!! under new management, maybe they'll actually fix it... bar/lounge with some food was ok too
"Nice place to be while away from home"
Hotel facility was clean, room comfortable, and hotel staff was very friendly. Good valve for the dollar.

I had an enjoyable stay with the hotel and would recommend it to any of my friends. Hopefully I will be back to visit friends again and be able to stay at the hotel when I do again.

"CHANGED RESERVATIONS"
The Jameson Inn, Bessemer Alabama did not honor the confirmed reservations, even after I personally confirmed my reservations with the hotel staff the morning of the reservation. Jameson Inn did have a room available, a King Size SMOKING ROOM for 1 adult. GREAT, except my confirmed reservation was for 2 Double beds for 2 adults, NON-SMOKING. Close wouldn't […] you say? Since it was NOW 2:30AM after the Alabama Ole Miss football game, my friend and I were extremely tired. Since we had NO acceptable rooms available we had to drive approx 4 hours home. Not a SAFE event after being up 24 hours. Based on this event I cannot offer any positive comments regarding the quality of service provided by either Jameson Inn nor the booking organization (third party) I will avoid using either organization in the future. "Room was small & problems"
Few negatives of this particular hotel - Rooms and Dining Room was small compared to other Jameson Inns - Toilet was clogged; had to go to front desk for plunger - Pool didn't open at 10 like sign stated; had to go to front desk again and ask them to unlock gate - Room key didn't work on last day; had to go to front desk again to get it reset - […] Dining room was so small and full, we just skipped their breakfast and went elsewhere. Too crowded and had to wait forever. They need to expand this room. Les mer

"Good room for the money"
The hotel was convenient to the interstate and in a good area. The room was nice enough for the price we paid. However, there were cigarette burns in the drapes and one on the bedspread. We only stayed one night. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who was just passing through, or needed a room on a budget.

All of the rooms are entered from outside and the weather was not friendly when we arrived late on a Friday night. The front desk clerk was difficult to locate and was attending to several other jobs outside the lobby. The breakfast was minimal and left much to be desired. "Great for the money"
We were plesantly surprised to find the deal we did last minute. The hotel was in good condition but could use a face lift, i.e. the fabric on the footstool in our room was wearing quite thin. But overall it was a GREAT stay for the money and we got some much needed rest. Would consider this location again if we are ever in the area.

Rooms were very clean. Staff was friendly enough. Soundproofing was not very good though, could hear cars starting, doors slamming, and people thumping on the walkway outside. I am a light sleeper so that caused a problem.

"clean and cozy for a overnight stop"
The rooms was nice, sheets was clean..the carpet was clean but needs a shampoo. The sevice was good, and the staff was great I was looking for things to do with our family while we had a extra day, they helped out alot. Breakfast was better than a most donuts and ceral places, at least you had a hot meal if you wanted it.

"needs improvement"
the hotel was in a great spot with park ,wal-mart,great eating places all around but thats as good as it gets. the rooms were worn out and needed up dating badly the bed was worn out and hurt my back. the pool was hot and nasty. dont leave any money out it will be gone when you get back , a few bills and change laded out to use for drink and snack machine […] and it was taken by the clean up crew. have to admit breakfast was good and ac worked buts thats about it . "Great value for your money"
It was a great stay. Perfect for my visit with a friend and a visit to UAB. The floor could use a good steam-cleaning. And breakfast was your typical continental. Great night's sleep. Totally loved the bed.
