Grei frokost inkludert i prisen, men den burde vart til 10.00 og ikke 09.30 på hverdager. Lage køer før maten ble fjernet. Vennlig og hjelpsom betjening, men noe mangelfullt renhold. The buffet breakfast was really complete and I enjoyed it.

I stayed at a Embassy Suites in San Diego, CA which was a lot nicer. This one was nice but not as big as San Diego. I would stay again

Loved the interior design of the hotel. Having every room a suite made this an easy choice since we had our one-year old with us too. Fridge and microwave helped a lot, and the rooms are well-kept. Location is everything and this was the best - close to Navy Pier, the Loop, and a few minutes walk to the El. Overall great value with free breakfast like you are on a cruise! Anything you wanted from donuts to made to order eggs! Managers happy hour with premium liquor wine and beer didn't hurt either!

The breakfast, evening drinks and overall stay at the hotel was great. The hotel was near capacity and the staff did an excellent job handling the crowds.

Highlights were the friendliness of the staff and the breakfast is better than expected. However, the entire hotel has a run-down feel, especially our room. Wall paper is old and peeling off in some places. The entire building could use rennovation.

I was so happy with my visit at the Embassy Suites Downtown. The breakfast was delicious, the room was spacious and clean, and the location was wonderful. We as a family of 4 stayed for three nights and enjoyed every minute. While there was a long line for the breakfast buffet and nightly free drinks, the lines went very fast and the staff had everything well organized. There is a Dominick's Grocery Store located on the corner adjacent to the Hotel which is open 24 hours. It is great location for Navy […] Pier and Michigan Ave. Maybe a 20 minute walk either way. We did take a taxi to the Shedd Aquarium but even that was under $20 for the 4 of us. I would suggest this Hotel to anyone who asks and we will definitely look into staying here again for any future trips in to Chicago. Les mer

Our room was very nice and comfortable, however it really smelled like stale smoke in the room iteself and smoke out in the hallway even though we were on a non-smoking floor which was disappointing and the hotel was completely booked and we were unable to move to a different room.

Great location. About 4 blocks from Navy Pier, 2 blocks from Michigan Avenue, 6 blocks from Millenium Park. Small swimming pool. Great hotel for families.

Overall a nice hotel to stay. The room was pretty nice and I liked how it was setup unlike the the typical hotel room. There was a bedroom and then a living area and a bathroom that separated the two rooms. Complimentary breakfast was also nice, didn't need to get out and get breakfast. Location wise, it wasn't to far from Michigan Ave and the shopping […] area. Maybe 2-3 blocks? I'd recommend this hotel and would definitely stay again. Les mer

The location was great and the room configuration very convenient. The only problem was that the hotel struggled to serve the full house of such a large hotel at breakfast. They had three serving lines but there were at least 25 people in each line which made serving yourself at breakfast a significant challenge. The smell of the pool was a bit overwhelming in the hotel lobby. Lots of children in the hotel over Spring Break. Breakfast buffet was excellent.

Large suites, great location. Includes full buffet breakfast, evening snacks, and alcoholic beverages for those willing to wait in line.

Great location with very friendly staff. Close to everything. Movie theaters and bowling next door. Navy Pier a short walk and restaurants everywhere. Great spot.

My family loved this hotel. Best one they ever stayed in. The beds were so comfortable and the view was awesome. Would stay here again in a heart beat. All the employees were very helpful, always smiling and made you feel so welcomed. The breakfast was unbelievable. Very good. Thanks for recommending this hotel.

Family of 5, plenty of room, staff was super helpful and courteous. Tons to choose from for breakfast, loved the made to order eggs station! The evening reception was okay, drinks were fine, but wait was long. Munchies were'nt impressive, same thing each night, could have mixed things up a bit. The view from our room was great! Loved having the separated […] areas, let the kids get away from each other while we were there. Bathroom had no fan and was extremely hot! But overall, had a great stay and would stay there again! It was close to every thing, and very walk-able! We were there with my brother and his wife and four children, and our two grandchildren. What a blast we had! we were there at spring break, so there were a lot of families with children and the pool was very full!

Embassy Suites Lakefront is in a great location. Convenient to all the must see sites in downtown Chicago. The hotel shows a lot of wear and tear which is understandable given the crowds of families that stay there. The hotel seems to be under staffed at the front desk and the Bellman desk. We had to wait close to 30 minutes to get our bags that we […] checked with the bellman on the day we left. We were close to missing our train home. Be prepared to stand in very long lines for the free happy hour and free breakfast. Almost impossible to get more than 2 drinks during the happy hour although the bartenders were doing a great job. The breakfast crew also did good work to keep up with the zoo like atmoshere that results when hundreds of people pile on 2 times as much food as they could/should possibly eat because it is free. Check in front counter was rude. Not very friendly. Hotel was really busy- totally sold out. Hotel needed more employees for volume of customers; pool way too small; long lines for free bkfst and ran out of items; ticket machine for self park was out of tickets and no one was in any hurry to assist us. Our rooms last Dec on the 11th floor were way better than the room we got on our next visit which was on the 6th floor. The bathtub was quite gross- it badly needs regrouting or the old dirty tiles replaced- so we couldn't even take a shower. It was subpar and very disappointing. It was great - only in the city for one night, we couldn't have picked a better hotel. The kids had the pool, the breakfast was a great money-saver, and AMC theaters were right next door. We were also able to keep our luggage there (even thought we had checked out) while we went to Chinatown.

Loved the hotel. The suite was smaller than other locations I've stayed at but still plenty of room for the four of us - 2 adults and 2 kids. The kids loved the glass elevators and the complimentary breakfast. Actually we all enjoyed the breakfast. My husband and I also really enjoyed the happy hour in the evening. This is a great hotel with a staff and location second to none. What a deal.

Great 4 day stay during spring break in Chicago. Although very crowded with families, our stay was enjoyable. The breakfast was convenient even with long lines (no wait more than 5 minutes) provided you were there before 9am. The pool area was constantly crowded with kids, but it was maintained well.

the only thing we found wrong was the drain in the bath tub was clogged and the shower curtain needed changed. otherwise overall awesome place to stay!!!! cant wait to stay again:)

You get what you pay for. A bit dated rooms plus LONG lines for breakfast and the evening happy hour is balanced by a superb location, good breakfast selection (by US standards anyways) and friendly serivce. Lobby and breakfast areas are open and prone to high noise levels due to lots of guests with children, so definately not a relaxing area.

Great place. Lots of kids around (spring break, I guess). if you don't like kids and families I wouldn't recommend it. My kid is late teen so it was fine with us. But no way you're going to find open time at the pool. Exercise area was nice. Movie selection excellent. only hotel downtown that I found has breakfast, and its a full breakfast with lots of options. since you end up paying for parking and internet, which is at all hotels down there, it was nice to not have to pay for the breakfast. pool wasn't functioning while we were there but we mainly were there to shop so not a big disappointment.

We were at the hotel for 4 days and had a wonderful time. The rooms were very comfortable and spacious. The breakfast was fabulous. Everyone was friendly. The thing we liked the most though was our housekeeper, Monique. She was so pleasant and eager to make our room and our stay enjoyable. We feel like she became a friend. This hotel was clean and decent. Nothing about it is going to wow you. The biggest plus about this hotel is the free breakfast - a standard selection of food but it's good quality and included in the cost of the room.
