Holiday Inn Norfolk Airport - Norfolk

room was clean and comfortable. Hotel had restaurant and small shop so we didn't have to go back out to eat. The restaurant was not the best but met it's purpose. Close to airport and shuttle was available. Would stay there again.

My stay was excellent. Close to shopping areas and restaurants. The hotel was very clean and pleasant to stay in. This has been my 2nd time staying here and just like the 1st time no disappointments.

With close proximity to ORF, the property caters to those who need the use of the airport most. While the setting is urban and nondescript, it is directly across the street from the Hilton. All the amenities one might need during a stay are close, familiar restaurants and department stores are minutes away. I found the property to be very clean and […] presentable; in spite of the bar area construction. Our room was recently updated and was pleasing with clean modern lines. The floor plan of the room was well thought out and certainly not your typical. The property offered all the amenities a business traveler needs and everything a family on a budget wants: free Wi-Fi, computers in the lobby, fitness center, and free transportation w/in a 5 mile radius, pool, hot-tub, minutes to the airport, and free daily USA Today newspaper at your door. All of the employees made us feel welcomed and as cared for as if we were staying in a Norfolk B & B! Caesar picked us up from the airport and was courteous and professional. He gave us the lay of the land and made a great ambassador for this Holiday Inn. Tameka at the front desk was equally professional yet we felt ‘hugged’ by her pleasant personality and warm smile. This Holiday Inn is a great value and I highly recommend choosing this property if it suits your needs. Les mer

I had quick service, a shuttle to and from the Airport, a great dinner, and excellent service

This hotel was very nice, clean, and close to the airport. I stayed overnight and had a very early flight, but all the noise in the hallways and rooms nearby kept me up until 3am when I needed to wake up at 430am. Great location for me; family lives close by. Easy access off the highway. Breakfast and dinner meals are great. The wait staff and front desk staff were very courteous. I have stayed there several times. I rated room cleanliness low because this time, I really felt like the linnen had not been changed on my bed. I chose this hotel because the Hilton was full. I was not impressed as the beds were uncomfortable (too soft) and the sheets were very thin and old (poly/cotten?). I thought my leg was going to rip the thin sheets. When I asked about the airport shuttle the night prior, I was assured that I just needed to call 15 minuted prior to when I wanted the shuttle. […] When I called that morning, I was informed that instead of the 5:00am time I needed, I could have either 4:45am or the 5:10am shuttle!!! The front desk clerk was not too helpful as he was just repeating the fact that they needed to take a "crew" to the airport at 5:10am. This didn't help at all. We were very pleasantly surprised by this Holiday Inn Select. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable and was decorated nicely. The bedding was extremely comfortable. The kitchenette and bathroom were both nice and efficient.

Good choice for a clean, safe, reliable hotel at a good location for the airport. Rooms were very nice with a nice breakfast as well. Staff was friendly too.

Nice, clean but Very Expensive for what it offered in the way of ammenities; requested wakeup call was not provided; no minibar in room and purchases from "store" at front desk not allowed after11pm. Guest with wine could not get a bottle opener.Unfortunately, I was on the floor with the bus load of travelers who were partying in the halls as well as […] the lobby. Les mer

The hotel was very impressive for the price. Very friendly staff, clean, fresh smelling rooms and commons areas; breakfast was also yummy. The shuttle service - free drop off and pick up from restaurants like Surf Rider was an unexpected curtesy. You're not far from beaches (10-14 min.); Uptown Buffet was a very good restaurant with heart-healthy Chinese/western […] food. I'll definitely be returning... Les mer

The hotel was really close to the airport so that was convenient. They also had a free shuttle to the airport which runs 24 hours. I had no problems getting to the airport. I ordered a room with 2 queen beds and they gave me a room that was supposed to be for people who are handicapped. This hotel is fine for a quick overnight stay while traveling. They have a free shuttle to and from the airport and super friendly staff. I checked in and my room had a toilet that would not flush - not good! But maintenance was quick and friendly and brought up a coke and bag of chips for my troubles (the least they could do). Was a pretty old hotel […] with non updated rooms, but was fine to catch some zzzzzzzzzs while waiting for a connecting flight. I would never pay their full price rate. Les mer

First, they didn't have toothbrushes, which was a minor inconvenience -- I had to go to the store to get one myself. I was wiling to forgive this. Then, there was the "free" breakfast. It took forever to get seated since there were only 2 people working. Everything was picked over. The next morning was even worse. There was only 1 person working. There […] were no silverware or napkins at the tables. There was no bacon. The waiter brought things out piecemeal; first the silverware, then the napkins. Then, we had to ask for something to drink. We asked for orange juice and were told they were out. This was at 9:30 a.m. I still can't believe this was a Holiday Inn. The room was okay; there's wasn't a flat screen tv and only 1 elevator, though. It was a miserable stay and NOT worth the exorbitant price we paid! Les mer

The hotel was very nice and clean. We were greeted when we walked in and assisted as needed til our departure day. The bathrooms were very clean ( BIG PLUS)and the pillows were soft and comfortable. I recommend this hotel to everyone and look forward to staying again.

Good summertime stay visiting in Norfolk. Nice staff, very professional, Very clean hotel. Good security staff. Thank You.
