I spent a week at the hotel and I would return there when in Hillsboro. The room was clean and comfortable. The service was professional. The amenities were sufficient and the location was central and close enough to the friends and family I visited.

I really liked this hotel. The decor was pleasing to the eye and the room, hotel, and grounds were clean. I was disappointed that they didn't welcome pets. Also, breakfast ended at 10 am on the weekend. Ending breakfast at 11 am would have been more appreciated.

Overall good. Unfortunately, my room was next to the room of some HS kids from a marching band. They talked all night long and the walls were thing. I doubt this would happen again in a 1,000 stays

We like the Holiday Inns and Express chain but we will not be going back to this one. It is not centrally located for one. My husband is in a wheelchair and their accessible rooms are not on a ground floor so on case of a fire he could die. And finally that room was not accessible not only did I have to move a recliner to the other side of the room […] the pathway was almost too narrow. Then they had a random water leak at their main entrance that was causing a gross puddle at the door. Les mer

Great place. Rooms very clean and comfortable. We appreciated iced lemon water in lobby on hot summer days and average hotel free breakfast in a spacious lobby area. Exactly what our family needed and made our stay easy and comfortable. Would recommend to friends, especially business travelers.

The room was huge, clean and well-maintained. The AC unit was a bit loud when it was running, but not to a point where it was disruptive. I skipped the complimentary breakfast as it wasn't that compelling, but the room was still a great value. Convenient location with a great grocery store just down the street.

The manager went out of his way to make our stay comfortable. He made sure we could get into our room a bit early so we could get dressed for a wedding, and everyone there was friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was delicious.

My room was wonderful....a little pricey though. The complimentary breakfast was the best I've ever had in a hotel, and I've stayed in some NICE hotels.

Nice Clean Room. Workout area in an odd location and a bit dirty. Didn't try the breakfast, but it looked about how you would expect a free breakfast to look. The biggest bonus is the size of the room. Very spacious and included micro and fridge. Reception staff was ver friendly.

We were very pleased with our stay at the Holiday Inn Express. Our room was very clean and tastefully decorated. The beds were luxurious (we all said "AHHH" as we sunk down into them). It was quiet, safe, upscale and overall a very pleasant experience. We'd stay there again in a heartbeat!

This was our first experience with Expedia and our first visit to this particular area. We booked at nearly the last minute and figured we would end up with leftovers. Not being familiar with this particular area, we weren't sure what to expect, and we were very pleasantly surprised. The staff was extremely friendly, the breakfast was fantastic, the […] building and grounds were very clean and well-kept, and the woods behind the hotel had a certain calming rural charm. The beds were so comfortable we tried to get their brand name, etc, from the label so we could buy one for home! I had to think extremely hard to think of a negative - maybe the slightly strong smell of the pool chemicals??? The hotel was centrally located - only a few minutes from the Hillsboro Stadium where we were attending and event - and very easy to find. We hope to return here again and again! Les mer

The room was great, liked the size, the bed was very large and comfortable, every one was helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good, with a nice variety to choose from. Our only complaint was the refrigerator did not work all the time, they did offer to give us another room but since we were only staying 2 nits we declined. Also I think each day new […] soaps and shampoo should be replaced we ran out of shampoo and only had one soap for shower and washing hands the second day of our stay. Wasn't the best Holiday Inn Express I've stayed at. althought the room and breakfast was fine. Only compalint I had (and my kids too) was the lack of a pool. I didn't read the amenites listing closely enough - in the pictures it looks like there is a small pool and a spa. In reality there is just the spa.

Typical Holiday Inn, which means it was nice and neat and in a convenient location. The desk clerk was a little odd but was not unpleasant. Our room was very nice- two doubles, mini-fridge, coffee pot, sitting chair, desk, etc. The walls are extremely thin, however, and you could easily hear conversations as people walked around the hotel. The hotel was very clean and comfortable. I stayed on the first floor and it was very quiet. Parking was no trouble. The breakfast in the morning was very delicious. They offered a big variety of drinks (tea, coffee, juices) and also had eggs and bacon. The eating area was super clean and they also have a small gym. Good stay, worth the money.

The front desk fellow was nice enough to loan us three toothbrushes, some toothpaste and a comb, we having left ours at home.

We were surprised by the nice accommodations the Hillsboro at the Holiday Inn Express. The rooms were clean and has all the conveniences we require. There were many amenities at the hotel. The buffet breakfast was great. The room was very clean and comfortable. We slept really well because the room was nice and quiet.
