Dette hotellet ligger veldig greit til i Orlando. Det er kort vei til det meste. Hotellet hadde en sånn skranke hvor de ordna med billetter til Disney. Det eneste var med servicen vr at det kunne være i overkant lenge venting for hjelp i resepsjonen. Rommet fremsto rent og greit. The hotel was very basic but I wasn't expecting much more. I was disappointed to find there wasn't a refrigerator in the room but in the end this wasn't much of a problem. Our room faced the pool area...loved that.. room was adequate but seemed dated... did not spend alot of time there... elevator a bit scary. conveniently located but crazy traffic on main drag.. overall okay

It's old but clean. Great location. Near resteraunts. We reserved a nonsmoking but got a smoking room. People who checked in befor us had the same problem. They spryed room to get rid of smell. It worked after a while. Pool is nice.

Only stayed for the night, but overall it's an old, dumpy, kinda' place.. Gotta be careful around the Orlando area, there are a lot of motels/hotels that are not up to average expectations, they may look kinda clean up front, but it all quickly evaporates as soon as you get to your room! The hotel is conveniently located, close proximity to I-4, major attractions, restaurants on the International Dr., and there are a lot of things to do with the family nearby. The rooms are not perfect but OK. The TV was old and took a while to get a decent picture. Yet the staff was horrible - completely unmotivated, inept, and disorganized. As I was […] waiting in line to check in, almost anyone in front of me was having problems of one way or another. People were promised certain things by the staff and promises were never kept. The service was unbelievably slow. Communication was a joke: the right hand does not know what the left hand is doing. The receptionist told me to call them from the pool restaurant (I was waiting to be checked in), and the restaurant people said they did not have the phone to call the lobby. The only thing the room service person did was replace the towels - everything else was untouched. I travel rather much, and usually do not complain - but this is the worst experience I have had in at least ten years. So, avoid at all cost - there are multiple alternatives around. Do yourself a favor - stay somewhere else. In case the hotel owners/managers read it - REPLACE YOUR STAFF PLEASE. Although I will never stay in this hotel again, at least other people will have better experience. Les mer

I was at this hotel for a weekend with my family trying to enjoy my time. the first day I was there to check in I had to wait an hour because no one there knows what they're doing. my second day there i left with my family in the morning and the housekeeper LEAVES my room unlocked all day with on my MEDICINES AND ALL OF MY VALUABLES THAT BELONGS TO […] MY FAMILY AND I. I MEAN OUR VACATION MONEY ARCHIES TO OUR HOME OUR CREDIT CARDS EVERYTHING WAS THERE. once I return to my hotel room i called the front desk they told me there's nothing they can do about it. all I'm saying if you want to have the worst vacation in your life, check into this hotel they will make that happen and don't wait for the general manager to call you back that would never happen I'm still waiting Les mer

Our stay was in March, 2012. I have read other reviews on this hotel prior to my stay and I still booked my stay. All I can say in rebuttal to them is - you get what you pay for. Simple. There are no real bells or whistles. If you want a 4-5 star hotel then this is not the place to go. If you want something that is in your budge, clean, showers work […] (your hardly in your room anyways), this is the place to go. Positive note: awesome location!, hop,skip and a jump to many great attractions (Wonder Works, Riple's, Titanic, liquor store, you name it...lol). Free shuttal to disney and universal (set times for departure and return) or you can book cab service for the week at a set rate (pick your time) if you prefer. Bare in mind the hotel does NOT offer free shuttle to and from the airport BUT I do suggest calling the hotel and speak to the shuttle people and arrange pick up prior to leaving (arrange a package deal). There are booths (lobby) with attendants to serve you with information on all the attractions in Orlando. Any problems I did have were attended to quickly and efficiently. Arcade area in the lobby, pool side dinner that serves alcohol - yay!!!! lol open till 11pm for food, 12 midnight for beverages, vending machines for the late night munchies or just go down the street (1 block or so) to Walgreens. Overall our stay was very pleasant and loads of advice from anyone you asked. I would definately stay again because it was within my budget and I had no problems with the service. Les mer

The hotel is huge and it was sold out the entire trip so they must be doing something right. It is also very convenient to all that Orlando has to offer. I will definitely stay there again next time I am in Orlando

we didnt like this place. we slept on top of our own blankets.

HORRIBLE customer service.... took over 1 1/2 hours to check in (with a sick child in the car)... over 45 minutes to check out!!!!!! Room wasn't very clean and there was a hole in the wall of the shower, tv didn't work and there were missing pictures from the wall.... overall it was a bad experience! I will NEVER go back there!

Very bad! 1 hour to check in to a room vid broken aircondition, and bugs. Made complaints but nothing happened.

The location is excellent and so is the price but I guess you get what you pay for. It took over 40 minutes to check in eventhough I had a reservation. We slept very uncomfortable, the beds were small and the pillows were very uncomfortable. I will pay the extra $10 to go to the next hotel for an improvement.

unfortunatly the worst and long line in my life to make a check inn only 2 hours they need more personal in check in is not my first time in that hotel and always is worts and worst to do the check inn. really bad expirience a customer very hangry two customer fight with an agent that was horrible !

It was a bad experience. No Wifi connection on building 3 & 4 and aldo NO DVD, they only have a few channels. The bathroom light was out. The room had a little of smell. I asked for a Non-Smoking room b/s my kid has asthma and they give me one, the cards to open the door didn't work. I had to go back w/ my kids to the main lobby to get a non-smoking […] room and new cards. Customer Service was awful. (except for one employee during the night shift). It's a really busy hotel and they only have two people working in the front. Will not recommend this hotel at all. Les mer

Very close to everything for a great Mega-Con weekend! However, no wi-fi boooo! Will stay here again though, the price and convenience was well worth it!

This a Hotel has many rooms, a little hard to find lobby even! Ck in-out ok(done late at night-early morning) My room was a little out dated, not quite as clean as could have been, but over all a good value for the area. This was a last minute business stay and we hit it just right for the Daytona 500 and NBA All Star game. The place was packed with hundreds of NASCAR fans... need I say more. Was a mad house with an understaffed front desk.

Non smoking rooms needs to be non smoking rooms. Rooms not comfortable

The location is convenient, about a 15 minute walk to the convention center and steps away from tons of nice resturaunts. Heated pool and friendly staff.

my only complaint .....I booked this hotel because they advertised free shuttle to Universal so when I checked in I asked about it and it was booked ....it was very close to Universal which was great but if you advertise :free shuttle it should stop on their website; limited space book asap. It is a very large hotel with lots of parking and the rates […] were very reasonable. The roms are very old and outdated so if you are looking for average rooms you are OK to book this hotel. When we were checking in the lines were long and the wait was lonnnnggggg. There were 2 people checking in guests and they were working as fast as possible there was a 3rd person behind the counter who walked around and you would have thought she would have helped out the other two employees but she didn't which I thought was unprofessional considering how busy they were. Bed no comfortable...fire alarm crazy 3 times...not happy...

I stayed here a couple of years ago and was happy with it. So decided to stay here again and recommended it a few people coming in for the same thing I was coming in for. Worst thing was the parking. We went out one night came back 2 hours later and had to park on the other side of the complex. People were parking up on the curbs and taking handicap […] spots to park near their buildings. Tried to call to set up wake up calls one of the nights and they put me on hold for 10 minutes thinking they were just busy called back later and I tried calling back a few times and they never answered. this is the worse hotel on the entire international drive strip. i frequently go to the lowest price hotels - but this was drastically worse. i had a cockroach on my bed and 2 other people had to move their rooms because of roaches. - terrible.

nICE HOTEL BUT NEED MORE PERSONAL AT THE FRONT DEST TO SLOW TAKE LONG TIME FOR CHECK IN BUT IN GENERAL IS VERY CONFORTABLE AND RESONABLE

I know why the rate was so affordable now, the condition of this hotel was horrible. Baby roaches all over the table, food pieces and all kinds of stuff behind the bed, and looked as though the housekeeping hadn't taken a broom or mop to the tile in the kitchenette area in weeks. Needless to say, I will definitely pay a bit more next year for other […] accomidations so that I won't be creeped out thinking a cockroach is going to crawl in my mouth while I'm sleeping. Les mer

Please don't waste your time or money here. Beds are not comfortable. Carpet is dirty, bathroom tile old and all bathroom facilities. Lobby was very misleading compared to room. I will never stay there again.

Motel is large, but shady people stay there. I was alone and felt a little uncomfortable. Check in and check out are a nightmare. Long lines with people having problems getting their credit cards to go through. Cab service told me to take their cab to my next hotel, which turned out to be across the street! Sheets and blankets are worn and thin.

Was the perfect fit for a weekend away, the font desk was helpful the room very clean

We enjoy staying here because we can walk to wherever we want for dinner or shopping. Its not a perfect place but slept very good there and close drive to the parks without getting into to much traffic. There was a little mildew in the shower but no big deal. Would stay again.

My third time staying here - the location is perfect for my needs. I arrived 5 hours early and they were still able to check me in. The room was immaculate. The bed was a little soft, but the 3 pillows appeared brand new. The hot tub and pool were both very clean and heated just right. I will be back.

Even though it was a cheap hotel, you don't expect to find and chase around the room the entire night looking for and collecting roaches. I didn't sleep many minutes the first night since my wife made me clear the room. I think i found atleast 10-15 cockroaches.

I have stayed in hotel rooms in Africa with fewer bugs than this hotel had. It was disgusting. There were bugs on the walls, counters, floor and beds. It was disgusting. If you are planning on going to Universal studios (Who should be embarrassed to consider this an official hotel) it is not as straight forward as a Disney hotel where they have continuous shuttles to their theme parks. Here you need to pre-register and get a boarding card. No card, no shuttle. The place you register closes early, so you are gambling to get a boarding card the next morning, when they open at 7:00. If you are going to Universal then pass on this hotel. Spend a little more and you will not have to deal with a dirty bug infested hotel. I spent the next two nights at another hotel that was clean, comfortable and well worth the $10 extra per night. Econolodge has lost a customer. Les mer

The workers totally freaked us out. Following us from our car to our room, looking in our windows! We checked out immediately an went to a different hotel!

I've stayed here twice and at each check in and check out there were only one or two desk staff with more than six people in line. It's unreasonable to have to stand in line for forty minutes. Get some more desk staff please!

The standing in line to check in was about 20 minutes. Far too long for me. Otherwise our room was fine and the location was very good.

My room was fine but my friends complained of itching from sleeping on the bed in their room as well as smell of cigarette despite booking a non-smoking room. Overall, the hotel is not fancy but is suitable for resting at night, I mean... you can't expect 5 star quality when you are paying such a cheap price. We stayed in two Orlando hotels within two weeks. One hotel was very clean, had friendly service, updated rooms with free wi-fi, comfortable showers, and a delicious hot breakfast included for the entire family. At the Econo Lodge, we waited more than 45 minutes for them to deliver and set up two cribs for our sleeping toddlers--cribs that had been […] reserved and were to be ready for out late night arrival. We killed 5 bugs during a one night stay, including two cockroaches (we brought in zero food for this very reason) and what looked like a tick in the bottom of a crib. The walls had small remnants of dead bugs on them. The carpet looked and smelled unclean. The shower was lukewarm at best--not warm enough for my wife to shower. We would have had to go to the unpleasant looking lobby for wi-fi. All this for a savings of around $10--never again!!! Les mer
