Rooms were nice, staff was nice, close to zoo, shopping, and good restaurants. On the down side: the indoor pool area had far too few chairs, we sat on floor. There were no towels both times we went down. The breakfast is the worst I have ever encountered and I mean it was bad. Weak coffee, rock hard biscuits, overripe bananas and no other fruit, little […] attention to health conscious diets, waffle machine was broke and that killed the morn for grandbabies... Les mer

The mattresses and pillows were clean and cozy. The baby crib was spotless. The breakfast was EXCELLENT!

"Clean, Great Breakfast however noisy location"
Overall good hotel but is located right on top of a busy street and intersection. Windows allowed in a lot of street noise. A/C unit did not have a continuous fan option to help drown out the noise and the hotel did not have a circulationg fan or box fan we could use in the room, so didn't sleep well. Very clean and great breakfast though.

Nice hotel, friendly staff. The free breakfast was outstanding. Eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, french toast, pancakes, pastries, cereal, juice....very nice!

"Is the the best Evansville can do??"
Was not at all pleased with this hotel. Hallways were trashed and rooms were not much better. Found out that I could have stayed at the Casino nearby for HALF the rate and that is is very nice!

My family and I have stayed at this hotel every time we are in Evansville to see our family. It has always been very satisfactory. I would like to say the their breakfast menu is outstanding and the service , the same.

Room was comfortable, however, busy road right outside the window. Could hear traffic loudly. On 2nd floor can hear all walking overhead. Shower didn't work well. Would recommend to others but with this input.

rates higher than some places (lower than others), the value is there for what you pay. Be sure to ask for non-smoking when making reservation, if that's what you want - southern Indiana is one of those places where smoking rooms still exist, and you might be assigned to one.

"A Good Stay"
The bed was very comfy, but I still didn't sleep very well, as I could hear everything that went on in the hallway, on the next floor, and the room next to us. Other than that, my experience was great.

Had a GREAT time in Evansville IN, I would highly advise staying at the Holiday Inn. Good people and service and a great breakfast to boot!!! My Wife and I had a great nights sleep..
"Awesome breakfast"
The staff were very nice. The room was average. The breakfast was fantastic! However, we were waken up to a person whom was walking very heavy at 5:30 in the morning. I would not recommend putting a 300 or 400 man in a room above someone else. (Not unless the hotel is going to provide a broom, one with a long handle so that you can pound on the ceiling.) […] That is what it sounded like to us. But all around it was a 4 star hotel. Furthermore, every hotel should serve a breakfast like, "Holiday Inn Express"! Les mer

My husband and I stayed at this hotel on 08/27/2010 along with our dog Missy and it was fantastic! The hotel staff was very friendly. My husband and I both have very bad backs and the king bed/pillows are fantastic and very comfy! We both noticed our backs did not hurt the next morning! The breakfast buffet is great! Typical Holiday Inn Express... friendly staff, clean facilities, decent breakfast options. One minor thing - the room was in excellent shape except that there was rust on the bathroom door frame behind the door (where it wouldn't show to staff). "Evansville West - Holiday Inn Express"
New hotel, nice, clean, convenient. Good breakfast bar, friendly staff. HOWEVER, this building is so poorly constructed, there is no soundproofing at all. I can hear every noise in the hallway, every flush above or next door, every sneeze & phone call on the other side of the wall. Footsteps above are awful. This is my third stay and will be my last. "Excellent location"
Stayed a few days while on business. Located adjacent to major shopping area Walmart and Home depot. Multiple fast and sit down nearby restaurants. Locate 'outside' of the big city of Evansville.

"Watch for hair on the sheets"
They chnaged our room 3 times because sheets were not clean (they had hair and stains). So,...before you go to bed take a close look under the blanket.
