There was nothing really wrong with the hotel, but nothing great either. We saw some ants in the room. Our bathroom light did not work.
"Baymont Inn Columbus"
This was the worst experience EVER !! I had booked this room weeks before the night , and was charged for it . Comes the night I am to stay there I arrive and am rudely told that my credit card was declined and tried to pay their current price after pulling up my payment information along with my card statement online to show them. Again they told me […] rudely that I had to figure something else to do around midnight on a busy Columbus weekend! I would never recommend this hotel to anyone Hotels.com did refund the money but the hotel had already put a hold on another card and still refused a room . Les mer
The front desk employee, was clueless. I booked the room on hotels.com to save money and she tried to charge me more????? Plus when I checked out she would not give me a reciept she stated because I booked using hotels.com I had to get my receopt from them?????
"bad booking"
i was booked into a hotel and charged, but the hotel had no vacancies and i did not get to stay in the building. i was able to receive the refund without problems, but hotels.com apparently has little awareness when it comes to a hotel that is completely booked.
"Baymont in Westerville"
I was comfortable but not happy by choice of rooms. I called the hotel directly and requested a room on floor level and was told I could have one and when I got to the hotel I had to plead with the desk to comply. I also would have like a king room with a pull-out bedor sofabed, having 2 double beds was not comfortable at all.

Hotel was clean and the front desk staff was friendly and courteous. Loved the homemade waffles and breakfast in the morning! Hotel was within walking distance of an assortment of fast food restaurants and a short drive to sit down restaurants that offered almost anything you would want to eat. The hotel isn't fancy but it is a good value for the money […] spent. No complaints. Les mer

Other than some very minor complaints, which I told them about,(loose faucet handle, stuff like that, very few, very minor) and they seemed very willing to fix after my stay, everything was pleasantly acceptable. I've stayed in hotels that cost more, that were very run down. Everything was shiny and neat each day.
Stay was during a cold spell. Room heat was off when I checked in and it took all night to warm up. Parking lot was icy. Room was not as clean as on previous stays. Light outside on balcony was burned out as were most of the outside lights on the 2nd floor. At check in there were no ground floor rooms available even though hotel was practically empty. […] I was told by desk clerk that I could move to ground floor the following day. However, once I got my luggage up, I chose not to move. Probably won't stay at this location again. Les mer

the motel was very nice,we've stayed there before,its close to our son.we came up for christmas,4 nights,clean, warm(snowing and 19 outside).and most important ,pet friendly.
