Middels hotell. Fortjener ikke 4-stjerner - 3* er nok! På badegulvet lå håravfall fra tidligere gjest(er). Mye knirk i golvet, samt halvslitt teppe (rom 119). Pent oppusset bad. Dyr internett i resepsjonen, mens 15 min gratis i frokostbaren i nabolaget.

Hotellet er 4* - kunne også vært 3* - men jeg veit ikke hvilke kriterier som ligger til grunn for slike tildeleser i utgangspunktet. Uansett, hotellet ligg veldig praktisk til i gangavstand til sentrum 20-25min fra setrum, Handlegaten Marihilf leder deg dit. grei standard på hotellet - fin pris.

Meget bra beliggenhet. Kort vei til knutepunkt på U-bahn, trikk og gåavstand til sentrum og diverse severdigheter. Prisen er slik 3 og 4-stjerners pleier å være, kanskje vanligvis i dyreste laget for min del, men denne gangen valgte jeg å bo fint og angrer ikke. How nice to come into Vienna by train and find I could walk to my hotel, which was literally around the corner. A four minute walk got me there. The bathrooms are spotless and well-equipped. The staff at the desk was unfailingly friendly and helpful. More I could not have wished myself at the price. We found the hotel very good value for money the location was very central to all amenities -.public transport the three day travel ticket was very useful.The staff were very friendly, the room was very comfortable with a large bathroom -we enjoyed a very good breakfast every day we enjoyed our stay there very much.

The location of this hotel was excellent! , two minutes from the main train station! the staff was friendly and helpful, she spoke many languages and helped us get our suitcases from the airport. This hotel was lovely and clean, all high ceilings and magnificent staircases. The staff were helpful and friendly and the hotel was (although down a very long street) a short distance from the museum district and everything else you may want in Vienna.

The hotel was exactly as described near to main shopping street , not far from old vienna town ,near to bus , rail and underground . The pillipano gentleman on reception was excellent and helped us arranging travel to mauthausen Thankyou we are planning to stay in Vienna again in May and will not hesitate to use the hotel again

Great place. Wonderful staff. Clean. Room 103 had some noise carry from people talking in the lobby, but not a big deal (but that is why I rate comfort as 3). The surrounding hood isn't great, but you are at Wesbahnof. The subway in Wien is awesome, fast, on time. You can go to all of the tourist sites extremely easily. Plus, you're closer to some non-tourist […] "local" cafes when you stay near Westbahnof. The hotel was incredibly cheap, probably because of location, but it was just as nice as hotels inside the city that are "tourist hotels." Les mer

I wish I can recommend this hotel because the location (close to the train station) and front desk was quite good. However, there are quite a few things the hotel needs to improve upon. First the room could definitely use some remodelling as I notice the decor looks quite dated. Second, I could have sworn housekeeping did not change the sheets as I […] notice long strands of hair on the pillow and bedspread. This hotel is quite amazing. It has kept an old style with really high roof, wood floor and very big rooms with nice windows... The decoration of the rooms is really cozy and you feel very comfortable and in a luxury hotel for a nice price...It is really close to the center. The people there are really nice and helpful, whatever your need. One should […] also get the breakfast, it is quite cheap and it takes place in a bar-cafe close by: so amazing!! It has a lot of food, all you can eat, and a lot of specialties of the country... And I should not forget, the city is beautiful, especially in December... Was really easy to get to the hotel, using the tips online. We did the bus and walked around and was perfect. Great location in Vienna. We walked everywhere but public transport options are plentiful and on the doorstep. When your exploring in a new city all you need is a bed and a base and this is what you get.

Hôtel room was ample and very, very comfortable. Excellent modern bathroom with large shower and separate toilet- quite rare! Only a few minutes walk from railway station and metro. Staff were friendly and welcoming. No wifi in room but excellent, fast Wifi in lobby with comfortable seating. A home away from home.

This was a lovely hotel - the staff were nice and helpful, the room was spotlessly clean, and it was quiet. It was a half hour walk to the Kunsthistorisches Museum and Hofburg, but only a 5 minute walk to Westbahnhof station, so a good base to explore from. The only downside I would say is there wasn't a fridge in my room.

Overall the hotel was ok, but there were some specific details which were quite annoying. First of all being a 4 star hotel one should think that it had quality service and comfort, unfortunately the latter fell short. my room---and of course I can only judge my room---was very ordinary. I had dingy linen, and the decor was old tired and cracked. you needed to sit sideways on the toilet as there was abig column in the way. staff were very friendly it turned out; but a dour sort of first impression was given----a bit of a low blow at 0700 off the krakow train. the […] position is great---the number 58 tram ouside goes directly to schonbrunn palace, and the 3 min walk to westbahn hof gets you to the transport hub for almost anywhere. basic but plentiful breakfast at the local bar, 2doors and one street away. with luggage you need only get the 58 or 52 tram from the staion to save your arms, or walk. Very convenient location at the Mariahilf "shopping" street in Vienna. Relatively close to the West Banhof train station in you which you can take the Vienna metro or the Eurorail train. There are several places you can obtain basic groceries or shop for clothes in this street. In Vienna there are many sandwitch shops (the bread is great in Austria) […] where you can get quick but not junk food. You can find alos super-markets to get milk which does not need preservation, fruits bread, sandwitches so that you can keep a healthier diet. Good hotel, great location and big clean rooms with a huge bathroom. Helpful staff, free WiFi in lobby and a plenty of cafes and restaurants right outside on the street. Tourotel Mariahilf has everything you will need for an enjoyable city break in Vienna. On downside, the room we stayed had a creaky laminated wooden floor and some room lights needed […] attention. Neither a mini bar nor tea/coffee making facilities provided in the room - huge dissappoint to a British traveller! Travel Tip: from Vienna airport, take S-7 train to Wien Mitte (Landstrasse) and then U3 to Westbhanhof - this is the cheapest way. It costs only 4 euros for S7 and 2 euros for U3 to complete one way journey. Exit from Westbhanhof station on to inner Mariahilf Strasse, the hotel is just a five minute walk from station on the same side of the street. Les mer

A relatively small hotel with friendly staff and large clean rooms. Located approx. 5 mins walk from West Bahnhof Station, and therefore easy to get to from the airport via. the Vienna Line bus service (8 euro). Our room overlooked the main road, but this did not cause us any problems as the traffic was relatively light in the evenings. Cleaning staff […] were exceptionally good, with replacement soap, towels & floors cleaned every day, even our clutter left on a table was tidied up. Easy access to Mariahilfer Strasse, the main shopping street, and the U-Bahn for easy travel anywhere else within the city. (London Transport take note - 2 Euro to travel anywhere within the city!) Down side? There is no bar or restaurant within the hotel, and tea/coffee facilities are not provided within the rooms. Guests are asked to use the cafe around the corner, inc. breakfast at an additional 8 Euro each. Overall, this did not cause us a problem, but you don't expect this of a 4 star hotel, and it would have been nice to relax with a refreshing drink after a day out. Also, it's approx 3.5km walk back from the city centre, therefore a bit tiring after an evening meal or being on your feet all day. After all, you won't see much if you use the U-Bahn every time! Given the price and location, tourotel Mariahilf is a very good value. My only caveat is free wifi in the lobby only, not in room, but it's a minor quibble. Everything was very clean, the location is great (get a transit pass, the whole city is wide-open to explore) and we didn't want to leave.

The receptionist was very rude and inconsiderate at check in. The hotel itself is OK but our room lacked windows, very large long room but just one window. The decor is very 'Viennese.' Located close to U3 and on the 52, 58 tram track ideal for sightseeing.

This hotel was ideal for us as we were travelling by rail from& to Munich using the Westernbahnhof......less than 10 mins walk from the place. The excellent links using the Ubahn meant we could visit all the main sights from central city to the Prater & the Belvedere & the tram outside the hotel took us to Schonbronn in less than 15mins.Altho' the decor […] is dated our room was spotless & the ensuite sparkled. Poor quality bed, strange room layout (My bed was adjacent the non-soundproof wall that separated the main hallway from my room, so I heard everything), the hotel had little in the way of amenities, and no in-room internet access. I could go on, but I'd stay away in the future.

Lovely hotel with very helpful staff. Apart from the lack of tea and coffee making facilities in the room, our accommodation was perfect. Handy for the Westbahnhof and Schoenbrunn and good value for money. The nearby Mariahilferbrau restaurant served an excellent breakfast.

Stayed here in July 2012 and it was an excellent place to stay. Staff were fairly friendly. The rooms where huge and had laminate wooden floors which helped with it being a lot cleaner. The bathroom also was super clean and lots of space. Comfortable beds. Free WiFi in the hotel reception area or by the stairs was great. Not far from WestBahnhof station. […] about 3 minutes walk. There are shops and takeways just outside the hotel with a couple of great ice cream places. Some of the independent shops that sell fruit and other things are open later than the supermarket but they are also a lo more expensive. Beautiful building. The Vienna Card offered by the hotel was a few Euros more than what you pay at any station for the same 3 day card so we bought them at a underground Station. Muy bueno hotel. Our room was HUGE with a spacious balcony overlooking Mariahilfer Street. The location is ideal -- the train station and nearest metro station is just a five minute walk away and there's a trolley line at the front door. There are some good, affordable little restaurants surrounding the hotel, including Asian, Turkish and the what we would rate to be […] the best gelato shop in all of Europe -- Zanoni's located on the north side of the street halfway between the train station and the hotel. The hotel could use some updating and the room door entry system is a ridiculously complicated German-made system that requires a demonstration from the check-in staff -- I kid you not. Good hotel in a very convenient location for Vienna, easy to get into the city centre (25 minutes by foot, 10 minutes by underground) and 5 minutes away from Westbahnhof for travel to other parts of Austria and further afield. Helpful and welcoming staff and we were given a large comfortable room that was very clean and well kept.
