Et helt greit familiehotell i rolige omgivelser for den som vil se andre deler av Berlin enn Kudamm! Hyggelig strøk med kafeer og morsomme butikker og med kort vei til U-bahn.

Veldig positiv opplevelse. Relativt nye eiere som gjør sitt ytterste for at du skal trives. Alt inne og ute er nyoppusset. Nye vinduer, nytt el opplegg, ny heis. Moderne stil, skikkelig fresh satsning i resepsjon/frokost rom. U-bahn og båtstopp 100 m unna. Området (Kreutsberg) har en behagelig atmosfære og mange koselige kafeer og restauranter ligger innenfor 500 m.

Hotellet ligger sentralt, i et rolig strøk. Det er rent, men luktet litt maling. Nymalt, antar jeg.Rommet og badet var rent. Kunne kanskje ha vært et forheng foran dusjen. Vannet sprutet ut over store deler av rommet. Svært god frokost.

This Swissotel is comparable to ones in which I have stayed in other major cities. One of the biggest pluses is the great service one gets from all hotel employees. Also, the hotel is conveniently located next to a U-Bahn station and major bus stops. Another major station for the S-Bahn and U-Bahn is only a couple of blocks away. Stops for all the sightseeing […] buses are less than a block away. There are enough restaurants and coffee shops nearby to be convenient and a major department store with a basement deli is next door. The only thing I would change about this hotel is to reduce or eliminate the charge for internet access (virtually no other hotels charge for this) and lower the price a few euros for the full breakfast. On the whole, however, the value received for the price of the room is extremely good for a high-end hotel in the center of a major city. My room was extremely comfortable and quiet, a definite luxury so near major streets with heavy traffic. Les mer

My fiance and i recently stayed at swissotel berlin and it did not dissapoint it was by far the best hotel i have ever stayed in. Great location for all transport links, shopping, restaurants and bars. The staff at the hotel were so pleasant and did not hesitate to help at any opportunity that would arise. It was like a home away from home as i felt […] very welcome and very safe in the hotel as they have fantastic security. I found the reception staff to be excellent. They are responsive and will go the extra mile to get your the information you need. I certainly put them to the test with my requests for information or directions on where to go and where to dine and not to mention helping me determine if I am able to fly on the morning when the volcanic clouds were heading […] towards Berlin. Wake me up at $.45am and let me know the latest news! Room was comfortable proven by my recovery from running nose and raised temperature on my first day but soon put to "rest" within the comfy room and hot free coffee provided! Swissotel is a great choice for a Berlin discovery trip (most sightseeing busses leave within few meters from the hotel vicinity). The rooms are a bit small, but I guess that's normal for a city hotel - I definitely recommend a Ku'damm view room! "Excellent customer service"
We had left our passports and cash in the room safe leaving Berlin in a rush until we found out on the train ride to Praha. We called the hotel and asked them to retrieve the items while we made our way back. And they had done exactly so and we found everything intact, safe and sound. They saved our trip!

Very good service. All the employees were nice and pleasant. We were escorted to our room and received an explanation + hotel orientation. All of our requests were taken care of in a speedy manner. The service at this hotel is top notch, from the bar and restaurant staff to the reception staff. Location is perfect; concierge was VERY helpful. Rooms are well appointed - you can even order your prefered type of pillow from the "pillow menu". Bathrooom included seperate bathtub and shower. A very nice hotel - fairly spacious and good quality rooms, excellent customer service, great location for the shopping. Rooms are very comfortable. Beds initially feel a bit hard but are memory foam so they adjust to your body shape - this may not be to everyone's taste. Bathrooms are not large but contain both good sized bath and shower. They don't […] charge for coffee capsules for the coffee machine in the room, as many hotels do. Cleanliness is excellent. We both suffered with very dry skin during our stay (November) - difficult to know if this was the hotel air con or the city. Never ate in the hotel so cannot comment on that. Bar service was exemplary. Hotel rated as luxury, which it probably is, but in a slightly corporate way - minimalist feel to the lobby and to the rooms. As a result it felt a bit impersonal. The Swissotel lived up to our expectations. Clean, effficient and friendly service. Although located a little out of the centre of Berlin it is a 2 minute walk to the nearest tube station. The hotel feels most suitable for business travellers rather than tourists.

I was lucky enough to be placed in one of their beautiful corner rooms on the 10th floor with a view! The room was a very and comfortable size. "Lovely hotel."
We arrived early (9am). We were aloud check in. Staff were very accommodating and friendly. Room was nice and comfortable and quiet. Very relaxing. Everything was nice. Only negative was that you had to pay for internet 12Euros per day.

My husband and I both have the same birthday. We spent 4days in Berlin and stayed in this hotel. We both were so happy and satisfied. Great location, close to 3 tube stops, lots of good food around, the cheap option of parking for 3 euro's for 24 hours is at the zoo bahn hof park 2 streets away. great turn down at night and your own coffee machine. Breakfast option: all you can eat at Marche just 2 mins away for breakfast, brilliant!

We had a great experince at Swissotel. It is centrally located on the West side - Ku'damm on the U15 line across from the U-Bahn train stop. We were escorted to our room where the nice lady explained to us how to use the coffee machine (which looked kind of like a space ship). We actually tried it out and the coffee was amazing. The bed was firm but […] comfy, the flat screen plasma TV was very nice. There was a Currywurst guy around the corner next door to the Ulrich (i think that's what it was called) grocery store. We bought currywursts from him for very cheap prices and loved every bite. There is a Dunkin Donuts a block away across the street from the square with the church and fountain in it. At the Ulrich store, we got 3 bottles of very good quality wine for less than 10 Euro. We also got vouchers for free drinks in the hotel bar. I'd definitely go back again. If there's anything I could say that detracted from our experience, it was the volume of people in the square one block away from the hotel, who kept asking for money and claimed to be refugees. After giving money away for the sixth time, I kind of felt guilted into leaving the otherwise beautiful square. Despite that, I can't wait to go back. Les mer

"Amazing hotel, but I was not lucky"
The location of the hotel is fantastic, you can reach the airport within 30min in the worst case by using express bus. The location is convenient, it's near many attractions and close to one of the biggest subway stations. When I came to the hotel I was told they were upgrading me to a better room. The room was huge, with a big desk, couch, TV and a […] nice bed. Everything was brand new and clean. The only downside (which is the reason for -2 stars in my review) was that the furniture and the room were so brand new that the whole room smelled on paint. I had an early flight and I could barely stand to be in the room for the night, I honestly thought I was going to get sick from the smell (I think the furniture was either new or freshly painted). Had I stayed for 1 more night, I would have asked for another room since this was the worst experience I have ever had in a hotel. I ended up being sick the next day, I can still feel the smell of that room. I believe that for this class of hotel, this type of incidents are unacceptable. Les mer

Mind, that the reason for the low rating on the comfort criteria was due to the bed. Even though it was a special 'health' bed, it was simply to hard for my back. Rest of the room was very nice.

We booked this hotel as a anniversary treat for a weekend away without our children (the first time ever). We chose the Swisshotel because of the location and because we wanted something a bit special. We wern't dissapointed ! Every thing was perfect, even above our expectations! Ett lyxhotell med riktigt trevlig personal. Bra läge nära Bahnhof Zoo. Trots att vi var för tidiga var det inget problem med incheckning. Bra, välstädat rum med lyxigt badrum och nespressomasin.
