Veldig bra hotell med kjempefin beliggenhet. Hyggelig, rimelig.

Veldig hyggelig betjening.

"Teeny tiny room."
Whatever you do, don't book the "Cozy Queen" room. It was smaller than most walk in closets I've seen. Super tiny. The hotel was nice. The ice machine on our floor and the soda machine on our floor didn't work. They charge a LOT of money for an off brand bottle of water ($4+) in their little coffee shop. The elevators are slow. The valet people are […] super nice. I would stay there again and be happy, but I'd be sure not to book that room (we thought we were booking a King, I guess we overlooked that it was not). Les mer
"Great Location, but a little noisy"
We stayed the weekend before Mardi Gras. The location was great. Very easy to walk back and forth to Bourbon Street and Canal Street. The parking was a little expensive --about $30/day. Don't plan on getting the car in and out during your stay if you are there for MArdi Gras. They park it at another location. The room was very nice and clean. We had […] a corner room 1 room away from the elevator. In the bathroom, all you heard was the elevator going up and down. And we had a room in between. Also, you could hear a lot of the outside noises like police cars and trash trucks. It wasn't too bad, but would definately bring some ear plugs. The staff was nice and even with so many people the elevators didn't take long. Les mer
"Awesome Staff - High Parking Rates"
Hotel Staff is exceptional. Parking is $29 per day. I felt cheated. Internet is $12 per day as well. Overpriced and sneaky charges for something you get free at the most basic 1 star hotels. The rooms are small but not bad. I wouldn't call them 4 star. We had a broken door lock and a dislodged smoke detector. The TV reception was bad and the aspect […] ratio was wrong making everything look "fat". There isn't any way to adjust the TV with the remote provided. There isn't a program guide either. 2 channels are for the hotel to advertise their condos. The common areas of the hotel are very nice. The bar and pool areas are great. Les mer
"Great Hotel but don't get Room Service!"
The staff was friendly and efficient. Parking is 30 a day though. The restaurant in the hotel and room service is very expensive. Fortunately you are just steps from affordable dining for all meals. Also you are very close to the French Quarter.
"Good beds but that is all"
The room was NEVER clean when returned in the late afternoon to relax before we went out. I leave money on the pillow everyday, and that didn't help. The carpets in the halls really need to be replaced< The beds were comfortable, though and that is a big plus This trip was purchased through a charity auction and they picked the hotel....
"New Orleans French Quarter"
The hotel staff, location and cleanliness could not have been better! My husband and I arrived at 8:30 am, and the staff was able to give us our room right away even though check-in is 3pm. I was suprised how small the rooms were, but the staff made my stay so nice, I will definately stay there again.

"Great Stay!"
Would definitely stay here again. Close enough to walk to Burbon Street but not so close that you hear the noise. Nice room & nice sized bathroom.
"Quality Employees"
Quality service. and a very nice well-maintained place.
"Very Nice"
Beds extremely comfortable

"New Orleans"
The hotel is beautiful. The rooms were lovely. The staff was very friendly and informative. Will stay there again!
"Fabulous Bar!"
Chris McMillan and his wife, Laura, are fabulous at taking care of visitors at the Uncommon Bar! He is a fabulous mixologist!
"Can't go wrong with a Renaissance property"
The Renaissance Pere Marquette is a 5-minute walk from the French Quarter, specifically the top of Bourbon St. Canal St. (lots of shopping) is the street behind Common St (where Ren Pere Marq is located), so easy to walk to shopping, a Walgreens for amenities & snacks is 5 minutes away, and the trolley stop is a 4-minute walk. starbucks in the lobby. […] Room is typical Renaissance (clean, modern), but the only thing amiss was that the wallpaper was peeling in one spot, the light switch cover didn't cover a missing spot of wallpaper, and there was a hole in the bathroom wall that had been papered over but not filled. Nothing earth-shattering, of course, but I'm just used to perfection from Ren properties. Les mer

Had a great stay here. Hotel staff was very helpful. Hotel is close to Bourbon but far enough away that the noise did not bother us at all. I would stay here again!
My wife and I had not been back to New Orleans since Katrina. The room was perfect, everything is in walking distance. The staffs was great, they attend every need we had requested. Thank you so much.
"Perfect place to stay"
Everything about my stay was absolutely perfect. The location was convenient to everything, I barely even needed to get a taxi unless I was traveling outside the french quarter. And yet I was just far enough away from the quarter so if I needed a break from the intensity of the quarter, I found it. Customer service was impeccable. And the rooms were […] quiet and relaxing. everything thing was clean and very comfortable. I never once felt as though I was "just a guest" I will absolutely stay here again and I will not even think about looking anywhere else. Les mer
"Renaissance Pere Marquette Hotel in New Orleans"
This hotel is in a good location within a few blocks of the French Quarter and Bourbon Street. The hotel is clean and modern appearing with very attractive decor. The rooms are ample and very clean. The breakfast was the only meal we ate at the hotel and it was adequate by New Orleans standards which would be good by most standards. I would stay at […] the Pere Marquette again in the future. "Great location, great price"
We booked this hotel for a wedding weekend, two nights in New Orleans. Check in was a snap and our room was great, the bathroom especially. It rained so we were actually confined to our room for several hours, but it was very comfortable. We were bummed we didn't get to use the pool, although it looked small or there weren't many lounge chairs. The […] location is amazing- close to great restaurants and entertainment in the both CBD and FQ. There are a few coffee shops and drugstores around the corner which was also convenient. It's worth it to stay on the CBD-side of Canal Street. French Quarter hotels cost more just because they are in the FQ. One of our friends who stayed at a pricier hotel commented that the Renaissance was the premier hotel in the Marriott brand, thinking we paid a fortune and we actually paid less than they did! We would definitely stay here again. Les mer
We ordered a room with two queen beds and were given a room with a king bed. I was not happy with the hotel.
Great all way across theboard
"Renaissance Pere Marquette"
Hotel was close enough to "everything". Room had a comfortable king size bed, and the air conditioner worked well. Bathroom quite large and linens were replaced each day. Pool very small, but fine for parents with very small kids. Staff polite and friendly. Valet parking worked like a charm, never had to wait for our car - really good service. I would […] definitely recommend this hotel to others. Les mer
"Great Hotel"
My wife and I stayed at Renaissance Pere Marquette for our anniversary. It's about a 5 minute walk to Bourbon Street, just across Canal Street. It was nice and QUIET here. The room was superb....even had a very cool view (RM 415). Whoever designed and decorated lobby, common areas, and rooms was top notch. Well managed.... good restaurant/bar. This […] was a great value. Les mer
"Pere Marquette, NOLA"
We were very happy with the accomodations. The lobby was very nice - with a boutique bar - unfortuately we weren't able to stop by to enjoy due to our schedule. The room and bathroom were very clean. Not too small but not overly large either. The staff was friendly in greeting us upon arrival (valet services and front desk) as were the housekeeping […] staff. I have already recommended to friends. Very happy as well with the Hotels.com website. It was our first time to use them and will do so again. Les mer
"Hotel Renaissence Pere Marquette"
Wonderful excperience at New Orleans Renaissance. Excellent service staff, great restaurant and bar (Mila's) and lovely room with access to concierge floor. Would definitely stay there again on next trip. Thanks you!
"Very short walk to Bourbon Street"
Great staff, very accommodating to our needs. The neighborhood seemed very safe, and the hotel was a very short walk to the French Quarter.

"Renaissance Pere Marquette was a great hotel."
Staff was very friendly and helpful. Close enough to French Quarter to be convenient, but far enough away to have quiet when you wanted it. Lobby and bar areas had a cozy atmosphere.

"Solid Hotel, Close to French Quarter"
This was a clean and friendly hotel. They provide free internet service. The hotel is quite close to the french quarters. It's nothing fancy, just clean, respectable rooms. Very nice front desk. I thought it was fairly close to some rather cute restaurants and bars. I enjoyed my stay.
"OK deal at standard price, amazing deal when cheap"
This place doesn't show well from the outside, but inside everything is clean and new. By the way, I had a Super Saver rate, and the room was still an adequate size (though clearly smaller than the standard rooms). Staff was helpful and friendly, maid service does a good job. I just wish the blinds kept out more light; too tough to sleep in, and my […] stay was not during Daylight Savings time so I can only imagine that it'd be even more difficult in the summer. Les mer

"Pere Marquette- nice and clean"
My visit to New Orleans was for 5 days and I spent all of them at the Pere Marquette. This was a prime location to be for my work and play. The room was very clean and I even got to spend some time by the pool to soak up some sun. It was a great stay. The elliptical machines were broken in the small'ish gym but otherwise this was a perfect stay!
"Getting Around"
Presently the building across the street (Common St.) is under construction. Getting cabs, traffic and parking were issues. The hotel itself was very comfortable.

"Enjoyed Our Stay"
We enjoyed this hotel. But the rooms are small. The pool is nice but they don't have a lot of pool chairs - only 3 lounge chairs and a small couch. This makes it hard if you wanted to spend time at the pool. The service is very nice and the bar is very sexy.
"Low water pressure, bad air conditioning"
We initially reserved a room for saturday night through hotels.com at a great rate but found a baby sitter and left a day early. The hotel would not match the rate no big deal. The hotel lobbey and bar area very nice thanks to hurricane Katrina. The bed was not comfortable, the air conditioner was cold then hot, the water pressure was weak. The roof […] top pool was 15 ft by 10ft and surrounded by bldgs so you get sun from 10am to 1pm. Les mer
"Not a bad hotel...but it is NOT a 4-star hotel!"
I would have been perfectly pleased with the Renaissance Pere Marquette if it had been accurately labeled as a 3-1/2 star hotel. It is a perfectly nice place, don't get me wrong, but in no way does it merit a 4-star rating. Plastic bathroom fixtures, crummy shower, etc. I guess it's a decent place to stay if you get a deal, but I think you can stay […] in a much nicer place for your money in the Quarter. Les mer
"Great Hotel"
Love this hotel! I was in town for a week on business and didn't get the chance to enjoy it as much as I wanted but I would have paid double my hotels.com rate and been happy. Comfortable spacious room, large bath, great common areas, great staff that took the time to resolve my issues. The hotel restaurant (we went for lunch) was good, but overpriced […] for the portions. The only issue I had was with water pressure (it was almost non-existent). Les mer
"Alright Experience, only one problem"
The hotel was very nice and convenient to the Bourbon St. area. You can park down the street about a mile away and save alot of money on parking. The only issue we had was the hotel was way overbooked and it took hours for us to get a room, along with many others. In the end our room got downgraded from a King Deluxe to a Queen Deluxe, but that was […] with some negotiating and arguing with management. First they wanted to put us in a Queen Standard room with free breakfast, when we got the room, it was the size of a hospital room and we didn't even want their breakfast, we had other plans. With a little argument with management we were able to get at least a queen deluxe. However, we had to wait a few more hours to get that room. At least they let us take a shower in the room, before they moved us. Although we had problems checking in, the rooms are very comfortable and nice. After the fact I enjoyed my stay, although I paid more for a room then I paid. Les mer
"Too expensive for the location and amenities"
Hotel is OK, but always had a long line at the reception desk, was a little too far from "The Quarter" (even though it advertises it is a French Quarter hotel), and has no room around the tiny pool. The positives: cool bar (but it was closed at noon on Friday!) and Starbucks in lobby. It didn't help when we read in the paper that the Ritz just across […] Canal St. was offering specials that were cheaper! Very nice staff. Les mer
"A little expensive"
I chose this hotel because of its price, location, and star rating compared to other hotels in the area. I was satisfied overall except for the parking fee (a necessity in this area if you have a car), which was one-fourth the price of the room. In my opinion, the room rate was reasonable, but they creep toward the expensive side when you factor in […] anything extra. The price of room service and the in-room movies were very high, as was the already mentioned parking fee. Make sure to price everything you plan to use before you book with them. If the price is still ok, this is a great hotel. Les mer
"Outstanding Hotel"
This place was great!!! Good price; not noisy. I was afraid it would be being so close to Bourbon Street. Good location for walking around town. Will go back to this hotel on my next visit. Highly recommend... Friendly staff.
"Hôtel idéal à New orleans"
Mon séjour s'est bien passé, l'hôtel est au calme tout en étant juste à côté du centre et des animations de la ville. Le seul bémol est que la piscine était en travaux.
