The stay was ok but didnt have a microwave any where to use the room had a fridge but no microwave also some channels on the tv were not working. The ice machine wasnt working
"Worthless"
I am in a wheelchair, and the room they put me in (after conirmin THREE TIMES that it was accessible) was not an accessible room, so they finally realized they did have an accessible room and moved me to it. It was about 75% accessibe but I could live with that for one night The parking lot and guest entrances were TERRIBLE and very dangerous. 4-5 days […] after a major snow storm, the walks were covered with ice and were treachorous, to say the least. Ihe only entranc that was good was the entrance to the bar, with that entrance and approach being constantly occupied by smokers from the bar. DO NOT GO TO THIS HOTEL!! Les mer

It was close to my designation for the first night, and was a reasonable distance to my designation the morning after. The only complaint I have is that they barely had enough towels in our room for 3 people; they stocked the room as if only 2 were staying, even if I had 3 on the reservation.

Stayed here during a pool tournament that I attend every year that is always held at the New World Inn. I got the room that I requested. There was a standing lamp in my room that any time you went to turn it on, the lamp would fall over....very unsteady and broken. My room had a fridge and microwave which was conveniant except the microwave did not […] work. I called the fromt desk to let them know and they said that maintence would come up right away. Nobody ever showed up. To make things worse, the hotel does not have a public microwave or kitchenette and luckily, another person staying at the hotel was nice enough to let me use their microwave that they had in their room. "Crappy Customer Service"
The hotel was empty and now I know why.....Service is very poor. Was a little late to breakfast on Christmas day and the girl was rude. Offered coffee and went to get some....She walks around me to take the pot to poor it out. No compassion for holiday visitors. I was very disappointed with the staff at this hotel. I waited for at least 20 minutes in the hotel lobby before anyone even came out to help me get checked in. The lady who was supposed to be working at the front desk was in the hotel bar!
"Family Wedding"
The room was clean enough,but the maids did not clean our room and we stayed for 2 nights.We went down to the hotel bar to eat and they were out of a lot of food.There just seem to be a lot of little things that went wrong.When we checked in I had to wait for about 25 min.because the people behind the desk were in the back talking,I kept saying excuse […] me but I don't know if they didn't hear me or if they were ignoring me. "New World Inn-Worth The Price"
My husband and I had a wedding in Columbus and spent the night at the New World Inn. The outside of the building was somewhat run down. The rooms however were very pleasant. Halls were a little worn but rooms clean, comfortable and we even had a frig and microwave. Service in the lounge was a little slow but not bad. In order to get to the lounge from […] the inside though, you had to go thru the hall where they have receptions or other celebrations. "only out of convenience"
I went to my sisters wedding and most of the family stayed at this location since it was close to the wedding hall. It included a bar where the family could congregate and have something to eat with a few cocktails. The check in for everyone was not easy and there seemed to be a lot of confusion. I understood that problem since we all saved $25.00 per […] night by using Hotels.com instead of direct reservations. However then there seemed to be no bar service at first and when I complained I got the defense comments instead of how can I help you question. By this time I was frustrated and it showed so the frustration seemed to catch attention to someone. I was able to order a steak that was well over cooked with a baked potato. They never gave me anything to put on the potato and I had to find someone to get butter but by that time my food was cold. Now I am ready to leave the establishment however, someone actually asked, can I get you another one. I can honestly say I got some of the best service after that. So I highly recommend ordering a pizza and do not eat there. But if you can find someone in the bar you will get good service. The rooms were clean, and the maid service was great. All in all I would recommend the location if it is convenient as long as you bring your own food or order out. Les mer

"Hotel Needs Some Help"
My wife and I stayed for one night at this property due to its location. We had some initial issues with our reservation, but the front office staff was quick to correct it. Everyone working there was great and quick with a smile and offer of assistance. The property is in need of some serious renovation. All of the public space was tired and seriously […] outdated. The hallways were dimly lit and smelled stale. The room was comfortable, but a bit worn and outdated. I would recommend this property for one night, but not for any longer.
