Veldig bra hotell med kjempefin beliggenhet. Hyggelig, rimelig.

Veldig hyggelig betjening.

"Clarion on Canal St in New Orleans"
Pros: Bed was very comfortable. Bedding was nice. Room was clean, and was aesthetically appealing. Staff was courteous upon check in, and hotel overall, had a nice updated lobby and hallways. Cons: Room was extremely stuffy, and air conditioning didn't work well (in the hallways either), which made the room/hallways smell old and stale. I was lucky […] to have taken my trip in December, and although it was fairly warm, I can't imagine how hot/stuffy the room would have been in the summer. Hot water took a LONG time to reach the room. The shower probably ran for about 5 to 10 minutes before it warmed up enough to get in. The view from all 3 windows was of a brick wall of the next building over, which was unfortunate. One of the elevators was very nice, but one definitely needed to be updated, as it looks like it had never been done along with the building. Les mer

"Clarion Inn & Suites New Orleans-Great Location"
Great Hotel! Its right on Canal so the french quarter is in walking distance..I would definitly recommend this hotel. Has a modern feel to it and the staff was very nice.
"Small Outdated Rooms"
Staff was not friendly, Room was very small and from the 1970's. Bathroom was the size of a cruise ships bathroom...tiny! All at the low, low price of WAY TOO MUCH per night!!! JOKE!!!

"Descent Hotel, Not so great neighborhood"
Hotel was nice, Rooms are descent, Bathroom is small. Neighborhood, not so nice. Even though it's very conveniently located between Bourbon St and the Superdome, I just didn't feel safe walking to the hotel after dark. Parking was cheap, but for a reason. Only 1 VERY small parking lot that is security gated, which happened to be full, so we had to leave […] our vehicle at the OPEN lot BEHIND the hotel on the next block. Les mer
"Would be great in a different location."
Friendly people, clean room. Terrible noise, one of two elevators kept acting up. Night watchman sits at the door with a gun as it is about three blocks too far up from Bourbon street and way too far from the convention center. I would not reccomend unless you are desperate or don't care about the neighborhood. Don't take a family there. I was very […] impressed with the friendliness of the staff, especially compared to the lack of customer service nearly everywhere else in New Orleans. Les mer
"parking"
There was not enough parking. I drive a very nice car and did not want to park on the street or an unattended lot. Since I had already been charged for parking the guard allowed me to park in front of the hotel where he was sitting.

"Hotel stay in New Orleans, LA"
The air condition did not work properly so my nights sleep was a bit uncomfortable and the worse thing was I got up to make coffee and there was something so nasty in the pot where you place your filter/coffee. It was totally disgusting. I took a picture of it and showed the girl at the front desk which didn't truly seem to be that concerned about.

"WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE TO EVERYTHING"
OUR ROOM HAD MOLD ON CEILING NEXT TO A/C VENT. PRETTY BAD.
very small rooms but updated and cozy. Hotel staff was very nice and swift to solve my noisy neighbor problem. I was upgraded to a suite :-). i will definitely be staying again.
Lack of elevators for the number of rooms, not equipped to take large group, which they had during our stay. Mostly children running around, playing in halls and elevators, could not get moriing breakfast due to large crowds of children playinf with food. Noisy at night, only one towel for two of us. complaint ot mag regarding lack of elevator working […] only one out of the two. Response very non chel.ant Les mer

"Good Hotel for the Price!!"
The Hotel was clean....rooms walls a little thin!!! If you plan on partying only at Bourbon Street its a short quarter mile walk!!! But if you plan on going to Harrahs prepare for a 1.5 mile walk.....Overall a good hotel for the price!
"Good Mardi Gras location"
I expected a dated hotel near downtown and the Quarter and that was accurate. The location is only about 4 blocks off the parade routes and a couple of blocks from the NW corner of the Quarter (about 6 blocks from Bourbon Street). Quite a few vacant/derelict buildings in the area, but being on a main street we didn't fell unsafe. It is older, and deserves […] about a 3 on the facility scale. The room was quite small and the only one I've had with a 10 inch sink in the about 5 by 5 bathroom. It did have a tub/shower however. The bed was firm which we prefer and pretty much filled up the room. The weather was cool, so the lack of A/C was not an issue, but just a fan could be an issue. Kind of noisy, but guests do have a good time and come and go at late hours during Mardi Gras. The continental breakfast had a good varied of hot, and cold foods that I think had something for any taste and caloric preference. Not much seating available. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The only problem we had was with the valet parking. There are only about 4 spaces available on the Canal Street main entrance side, and the divided street and no ability to turn around the corner of the hotel because it is a wrong way street make the in and out difficult, especially when the traffic is heavy and many streets are blocked for the parades. I had to park the car myself because there was not a parking spot and no valet to take it even if I could have double parked. The worst experience was on Fat Tuesday morning when we waited an hour to get our car while I saw only only three others delivered. It served us well, but I'm sure many of my friends would not have stayed there. Les mer

no hot water told it had just broke reyiews to 2008 show same problem terrible neighborhood scared to walk the street checked in room unavailable sayed they would call me 3 hours later went to hotel and they were checking in people that were just arriving
"Nice but Loud!"
We really liked this hotel and thought the staff was nice. The only problem we had was that it was very loud seeing because it is right next to a hospital district. There are sirens at all times of the day and night
"Terrible!!!"
Worst Customer Service I have ever encountered!

"The Clarion Inn and Suites conveniently located"
We were only in New Orleans for 2 nights, this hotel really suited our needs. Three beds to one room helped us keep the cost down. Room very clean and staff very polite. Easy walking distance to Bourbon Street and the tram which we used to get around. Parking the car was easy and parking lot was secure at night.Complimentary breakfast was a bonus.
"Clarion Inn & Suites - New Orleans"
I've stayed here previously but I had never had a corner room - very small and crowded for two people. Older hotel with limited views and baths that need updating. The surrounding area is often congested in the evenings and is about a 6 - 7 block walk to Bourbon Street through some shady areas. Parking at the hotel is expensive but there are lots nearby […] for as little as $3/day. Use the transit system to travel around it's much cheaper. The hotel is OK - clean and friendly staff just stay away from the corner rooms!! Les mer
"The Clarion New Orleans"
Very clean older hotel. You can hear all the noise in the hotel from running water to the elevators bells down the hall clearly in the room and we were located at the end of a hallway.
"Cheap for a Reason!"
I've been to New Orleans many times and stayed right on Bourbon Street - this hotel was a hefty walk just to get to the activity on Bourbon. Very poorly maintained and customer service was not great. The morning of checkout 1 of the 2 elevators was broken and it took some in our group more than 30 minutes to finally get on. Many people had to walk down […] over 10 flights of stairs. If you just need a cheap hotel with no other expectations of service or cleanliness, this is your place! If not, pay the extra $20 or $30 a night and stay somewhere else!!! Les mer
"Nice Hotel"
Very nice for the money.
"Great room for the price"
The room was quiet and clean. Good location: 5-6 blocks from the French Quarter and the main part of DT. The area was a little sketchy, but since it was on the main road, Canal, it was safe.
"Sprucing the place up would make a significant difference."
The reception area was clean and looked impressive, staff were very courteous and help. I sated on the 3rd floor and as I walk down the hallway, I noticed that paint was peeling off many doors. Inside the room was relatively clean, bathroom was a bit older. In the current condition, it should not should not be regarded as a hotel. I would recommend […] staying elsewhere. Les mer

"great room for the money"
Very nice comfortable bed, the walls were a little thin, the room was a bit small. Its a great deal for the money. The hotel staff was wery friendly.
"21st Birthday Party"
About 4 blocks from bourbon. Surrounding neighborhood walking down canal was a little shady, but for the price we paid wasn't a bad hotel. The 3 doubles was definately a good idea!!
"Good Value"
The hotel staff was friendly; the room was clean; and the hotel is located within convenient walking distance of Bourbon Street. Minor complaint: some of the equipment in the fitness room was out of commission. Overall, an excellent value.
"I Would Never Stay at this Hotel Again and Wouldn't Recommend it to Anyone !!!!!"
This hotel is located on Canal Street in not far from the Superdome and Arena. We thought it would be a good place to stay due to the advertisement on hotels.com. It was horrible. The people at the desk gave us problems from the start. They told us that their parking lot was empty and we would need to let them park our car in an offsite garage for $22, […] even though it was advertised as $14. Then they wanted us to sign a waiver that even though they were parking our car offsite they wouldn't be responsible for any damages if anything happened while it was parked by them. Then we were assigned to what was suppose to be a Queen Suite, but was actually a Queen Closet with a TV. That smelled like fresh paint. That looked like the maids just put clean linen on the bed, but didn't do anything else. We happened to take a look out the window only to find that our view was actually the top of roof with a big air conditioning unit 2 feet from the window. The toilet ran so loud we couldn't take to anyone on the phone. The room didn't have a iron/ironing board. We called for one that didn't work properly and damaged my husband's one shirt that he brought to wear so we had to go out and purchase another prior to attending the functioned that we drove to New Orleans to attend. We were finally able to get enough attention to talk to the Hotel Manager. I can't remember his name, but he did come to our room to see what he could do to help. He explained that he would move us to another room so after our function, we gathered our belongings and moved to two other rooms that were much nicer and comfortable. However, because of all the confusion at the beginning, I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone. Les mer
"great for the money"
hotel was great for the money. I paid cash for car being parked they charged my card but I did get a credit for that. breakfast was ok. overall was a good stay
"Great Room for the Money"
The staff was young, but eager to please. The rooms were clean with a little kitchenette and the beds very comfortable. There seemed to be some ongoing renovations, but they did not in-convenience the guests. The location to all NO venues was great. Their no smoking policy is great: $200.00 addition to your bill if caught. We'll be back.
"Perfect Stay"
The location was great. The room my family sayed in was immaculate. It was was so clean. Parking cost $14.00 a day, but ur vehicle is locked up @ night. You can still get your car out @ night if you want. The fridge was clean. Microwave was clean. Bathroom was clean. The staff was very friendly. Not far from the French Quarters. Hotel smelled nice, […] not the usual stale smoke and murky smell. Elevator was clean. LOVED IT!!! Will only stay @ this hotel from here on out when in New Orleans. Les mer
"Great"
The staff is very polite and prfessional. The room and bathroom was clean. The room is small but its perfect for a little getaway for you and your honey. The only problem is the walk to the French Quarters and Bourbon St. is a little long especially in the New Orleans heat. Overall I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel and for the price it was better […] then I expected. Les mer
"Under Renovation"
The room was okay. Could have been better. The curtains were falling and there was no toilet paper in the bathroom. Needs improvement, but was a clean place to lay our heads after a busy day at the zoo.
"Good for the price"
Hotel is on remodelation by Jul 2009. Breakfast area is small, has two elevators that are not available when a lot of people trying to go down. Other than that it is a good hotel located close to the attractions. Hotel has parking only in open lots, but they have security.
