Hotellet lå svært sentralt, bare 150 meter fra Sheaperds Bush stasjonen, som ligger på Central line (den røde undergrunnen). Ved stasjonen ligger også Westfield, et stort, nytt handlesenter. Jeg hadde bestillt rom med to enkelsenger og da de ikke hadde det, fikk jeg oppgradering til et rom med kingsize seng. Rommet var stort og flott, nydelige badehåndklær og badekåper.

Vi er meget fornøyde, men synes at hotellrommet var for lite. Vanskelig å få varme på rommet når det var vind og litt kaldt ute. Vi kunne også tenkt oss en liten minibar på rommet. Ellers er alt til å anbefale. Har vært på dette hotellet før, og kommer garantert til å reise tilbake dit. I hvertfall hvis det går an å få til noen av mine ønsker.

University of London og British Museum gir Bloomsbury et akademisk preg. I Charlotte Street er det mange gode restauranter, mens Tottenham Court Road har elektronikkbutikker for alle budsjetter og gir kontakt med de 300 butikkene på travle Oxford Street. Trendy Soho er bare noen få minutters gange unna. Denne bydelen er full av lokalt særpreg med interessante puber, utmerkede restauranter og et rikt og av og til litt på kanten natteliv.

Vi skulle tilbringe 5 døgn i London, og var ute etter ett hotel i sentrum, nær london coloseum da vi skulle på konsert der. Vi leste div anmeldelser om hotellet, som da ikke virket spesielt positive. Så gleden ble STOR da vi kom dit... for ett fantastisk hotell, super service, nydelig frokost. Rommet var vi heldig med, nyoppusset og med utsikt til Trafalgar […] Square. hotellet har en takterasse, kjempefin - hyggelig betjening og go mat. Vi er svært fornøyd med oppholdet,- kommer helt sikkert tilbake, og vil anbefale det på det varmeste til andre, Tusen takk for ett flott opphold!!!! Les mer
"Midt i byen, men dårlig hotell"
Først fikk vi et rom beregnet på handicapede personer, lav dusj, alarmer overalt, virkelig utrivelig. Fikk byttet dette mot et marginalt bedre rom. Treg roomservice. Hotellet virker slitent, forventet mer av Hilton midt i London. Hyggelige folk i resepsjonen, når man først kom gjennom køen. Anbefales ikke!

"Nice and quiet, yet very central"
It was St.Patrics day outside and a loud wedding in the hotel. Still, we heard absolutely nothing in our room - it was nice and quiet. Room was clean, breakfast good, service great. Extremely central and close to subway, this hotel is recommendable.

The Trafalgar Hilton er et flott og nobelt hotell. Rommene er store og rene. Sengene er myke og delikate. Bra utvalg i minibaren. Badet er stort med badekar og deilige toalettartikler som såper, shampoo etc. Baren i første etasje virker som et populært samlingssted med dj og moderne interiør. Ikke helt fornøyd med servicen til de baransatte.

Perfekt beliggenhet, hyggelig, serviceminded og uformell betjening, flotte rom, kjempegod frokost og flott takterasse. Det eneste som kunne gi et lite minus var høy techno-musikk på terasserestauranten Alt i alt et hotell som fortjener toppkarakter!

Wanted a romatic weekend with my wife in London. This hotel was perfect as they arranged roses in the room, perfect room with a view at Trafalgar Square, staff unbelivable helpful on any question. Tried the room service with dinner in the evening. It was as near perfect as possible...!

The location of the hotel is perfect, close to "everything", but still on a quite calm street. The staff was very service-minded and helpful. The breakfast was also great. You could notice that some things, like the safe and the TV are getting a little old, but it was nothing that bothered us.

The hotel is in a fantastic location! Directly in front of Trafalgar Square. The overall look and aesthetics are beautiful and a great mix of modern on the inside and old and architecturally exquisite on the outside. However, it was the actual hotel room that bothered me. I had paid extra for a bigger and better room (going by the image that was attached […] to the room description) and I have to say, it was severely misleading! The room was small and nothing like the photo. When I went back to the front desk wondering if they may have accidentally put us in a regular room, they let me know that it was supposedly the larger room; I don't even want to know what the regular rooms are like! The inside of the rooms just didn't make sense with the modern and intimately lit hallways; furniture and paint seemed old and unkempt. The worst part was asking for a champagne pail and having it take 30 minutes to bring to our room! We wouldn't have needed to ask the extremely slow staff, but they didn't have ice machines, so we had to. Service was very disappointing for a seemingly high-end hotel. Although we had our issues, the hotel is just so wonderfully located, that I can't be too bitter about my experience! However, if I do decide to stay here next time I'm in London, I definitely expect better service! Les mer

Stayed one night only,family of 6 in 3 rooms.Had been allocated rooms next to each other. all spacious comfortable and clean with nice bathrooms.Friendly, helpful staff. Good breakfast.. Drinks expensive. Fantastic location right on Trafalgar Square.We had travelled to see the da vinci exhibition in the National Gallery which was just across the square.Not […] a great view frm the rooms we had, but that did not bother us as we were out and about to see the sights.Overall hotel was everything I could have hoped for, price was quite reasonable through hotel.com. I have traveled more than 5 millions miles in my life and I have stayed at a ton of hotels. The Trafalgar Hilton is, I guess, and attempt by Hilton to have a boutique hotel in London without the "corporate" feel of a Hilton hotel coming through. If that is the case, they missed that goal by a country kilometer. I stayed here due to the location. The […] staff was exceptional and accommodating. I was traveling with my boyfriend and we needed a full service hotel during our lay over. PROBLEMS: Unfortunately, the designer of this hotel thought that dark hallways and drab brown rooms with light switches the size of push pins would be coming back in style. I am not a complainer, but two grown males spent 20 minutes trying to get all the lights on in the room. For the price of this hotel, I would expect a room to be spotless and in excellent condition. The rooms were a little dirty and the "flow" of the room is difficult to describe. The internet policies and connections in the hotel were awful. They charge per device --- about XX.XX US per day. So if you have 2 laptops and 2 IPads like we did you can easily fork over an extra XXX.00 just to get connected. The service was sloooooow and kept losing connections. Forget about trying to use Skype in this hotel. POSITIVE: The staff was amazing --- very accommodating and eager to serve. The view from the roof of the hotel is not to be missed. OVERALL: Unfortunately, the wonderful staff did not make up for the poorly designed rooms, sub par decor, and terrible internet connections. Les mer

First and most of all, this hotel has the friendliest staff in the world. Breakfast room is cozy but rather small. During the weekends there can be a waiting line. Excellent buffet otherwise and what isn't there you just ask for and it will be delivered with a smile. Try the pancakes! My partner and I really enjoyed our stay at the Trafalgar Hotel, I even asked 2 days before whether we would be able to book into our room 2 hours earlier than detailed on their website, I didn't really expect this to be possible but when we turned up on the day we were wrong, we were warmly welcomed and allowed into our room at 1pm rather then 3pm. Great location, right on Trafalgar Square. Food was v good, only gripe would be the breakfast room was a bit cramped but food makes up for it. Managed to time lunch just right (weatherwise) and enjoy it on the roof - great views and worth a visit in itself. Would stay here again :-)

All I can say is that this hotel was beyond our expectations. the service, staff, room, location, breakfast were fantastic. we loved our first experience of London and The Trafalgar was a huge part in that. I can't stress enough about the amazing service from the hotel staff, blew my mind, I will definitely be staying there again and recommending it […] to all my friends and family or anyone who expresses an interest in going to London. The staff were very friendly and the room was lovely. Just a 4 minute walk to the theatre. Sleeping opposite the amazing view of Trafalgar Square and only a 5 minute walk to Buckingham Palace. Worth every penny. This hotel was good, but not stellar. It is basically a Hilton with a few more amenities. It was a bit overpriced for what it was, although I do conceed that accomodation in London tends to be very expensive. The bathroom was not very functional, with a sink that wasn't the greatest and a bath/shower that would result in water going everywhere. The […] carpets throughout the hotel (including in the rooms) look old and outdated. The rest is fine - beds, public spaces, etc. A particularly positive aspect is the breakfast, which was very good, but also eaten to the sound of a live musician, some guy playing accoustic guitar and singing some cover songs - he was very good and this added a special touch to the breakfast and started th eday off in a nice way! The staff is very helpful. Oh yes, one last thing. About being overpriced...Beware of any telephone calls made from the room. I know this is a common occurence in "boutique hotels", but their rates are just OUTRAGEOUS. I received a 15 pound-bill for a 5-minute call to a local cell phone. Take my word for it, just don't make any calls from the room! That being said, the hotel was fine for a quick stay in London - location is prime to visit the city, very central and close to all must-see's. Les mer
"Beautiful way to spend time in London"
We were greeted with a lovely glass of champagne after a long travel day which set the stage for an excellent stay. All staff were helpful, courteous, and knowledgeable. I must recommend the Vista Lounge overlooking the city, small and pricey (for Americans), but worth it. The view is breathtaking! You overlook Trafalgar Square, St. Martins in the field, […] the National Museum and the giant "ferris wheel." I would definitely stay here again. Les mer
The restaurant never had anyone to serve you both times I went, the lobby is a LOUD nightclub in the evening, guests checking in had to yell to be heard at the front desk...if your older then 30 years old, find another location

The person we interacted with with at the hotel desk was Clueless.. She had our name wrong, gave us a key to a room which was already occupied, and then kept us waiting 45 minutes before she told us it would still be awhile before the room was ready.
"Starting bad but ended great"
The Hotel is right in the middle of trafelgar square, near the charing cross tube station. When i got to my room my AC was broken and my room was scorching. However I told the staff and they provided me an upgrade to my room which was fantastic. Also get the benedict royale for breakfast.

i booked this hotel and was rather hesitant as it was for a romantic weekend away for my girlfriend as a surprise. seen as we are only 18, i was expecting to walk in with all of the staff looking down on us and feel out of place, but when we walked through the doors we were treated amazingly. "Substandard and dirty room"
The night we checked in we were put in a room that had dirty carpeting, mold growing in the shower and an ironing board sitting in the middle of the room. The marble floor in the bathroom was stained. Overall the property was much to tired to be listed as four star. I was very disappointed and definitely would not stay there again, or recommend it to […] friends. To be fair, I have to say that the day manager was a great guy and went out of his way to help. Great hotel, large rooms, a lot bigger than i expected after reading reviews on the size of london hotel rooms. Room was fantastic, very clean and the staff were friendly. Good location to get around london also, walking distance to Buckingham palace and the london eye.
