We were very confused in the beginning with the elevators. The front desk clerk didn't explain that certain elevators went to certain parts of the hotel, consequently we took the wrong elevator and couldn't find our room. We went back down to the main floor and there was an employee and she helped us find the correct elevator. It was quite funny as […] I met a few people who were experiencing the same problem....we'd laugh about it in the hallways. When we did find our room, we were very happy with it. It was very clean (the shower was a bit confusing as the hot water didn't come until you were at the blue section and the cold water was at the red section). We ate at the restaurant and were very impressed with the food and once again the cleanliness and pleasant waitresses were also impressive. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we would definitely stay there again. We have already recommended this hotel to a few of our friends. The price reflected good value for your money. We were also very pleased that pets were allowed....that's an added bonus for travellers. Thank you for a very pleasant experience....you made our travels very enjoyable. Les mer

We ended up in the new part of the hotel much to my surprise. It was a long walk from the lobby but was worth the walk. Beds were great, hotel and airport noise were minimal. Shuttle to airport was quick and convenient in the morning. Will stay again, but request newer area of hotel.

Loved the room, lobby, and staff. Sports pub was a great place for a drink after a long day of travelling. Stayed with our dog and was given a room with easy access to the outdoors. While the neighbourhood is very industrial, it was perfect for what we needed for travelling access for the next day. We will stay again and would recommend for road-tired […] adventurers. Les mer

I only slept in hotel during my 13 hour lay overt the other 9 hrs I spent visiting the city of Edmonton.It was roughly 10 min from airport,very convient and fast.Unfortunately the hotel is a long way from city centre

Room was clean, bathroom had Bed, Bath & Beyond products, Air Conditioning was a little slow, pillows high but comfy. All in all a very good stay, will definitely be back and will definitely recommend to friends.

The only issue I found was the length of walk to my room. The front desk person offered to change my room to be closer to front of the hotel but I declined-unfortunately. All staff were friendly and helpful.

Being gluten/wheat intolerent the food was very nice and I did not feel limited.I did find the receptionist must have been quite new, as I had to do a lot of question asking as opposed to being informed etc. But every one starts somewhere, I totally understanfd that. A more senior person stepped in on several occasions. I did ask for milk at the conference […] I was attending for tea as there was none. Thw waitress said we have none. I was thinking this is a hotel, so on a second occasion I asked and I said surely you have milk for breakfast. She came back with milk a short while later.The room was very comfortable and the staff were all very friendly. Les mer

I have always known that to travel the latest you should check in is 1.flight and put on a lateer flight, meaning5 hours before a flight. However on the night of this stay I listened to the front desk staff member whom told me if I left the hotel at 0800 for a 0900 flight I would have plenty of time for check in. WRONG!!!!!!!! I got to the airport and […] the lie up was awful and I was at the check in stage less than half an hour before the flight, meaning I was bumped off the flight and put on an evening flight. I missed one whole day of vacation at my destination. I called the hotel, and I was able to return to my room until the 1400 late check out without cost. I was grateful for that but remain upset that I based a decision on the factual manner of the front desk clerk telling me that I could 'for sure' check in later than I knew was correct for any airline. Also, I did not appreciate that I slept poorly as my room was directly above a outside door and all night I was woken by people going outside to smoke and talking. pretty nice place to stay, good service from the staff except my room the garbage can weren"t emptied and some punks that night got drunk disturbing other tenants I believe no complaints was done about it, beside that I would go back to this hotel.

I was in a room not to far from the entrance, they have a ceiling speaker right next to my room, when I ask to lower the music around 1030 pm they told me they did not have acces to the volume control. At least they gave me $75.00 in compensation.

I was impressed with the rooms and service at the hotel. The shower was amazing and the beds wee very comfortable. The room looked brand new and was very nice. Unfortunately all of the pillows were overstuffed so I couldn't fall to sleep very well because they were too big. I looked around the room for a spare pillow but could t find one. I ended up […] using a towel for a pillow. In the morning we called down to see if we could get continental breakfast or something to eat before our shuttle to the airport but all they had was a restaurant. This would take too long as we had to catch a flight so we left. Next time I will stay at a nearby hotel that offers free breakfast. Les mer

This was the nicest place I have stayed close to the airport. What clinched it for me was the staff at checkin. The fellow next to me was on business and there had been a mix up in his check-in date. The hotel had him coming in the night previous, but he showed up a day late. They had already charged him for last night's room, so they comped him for […] that night! Good for the hotel! I was very impressed. So often these things happen, especially when it is business travel, and someone else makes the arrangements. Good for them for understanding and not charging for the night he actually stayed. Les mer

The Executive Royal Inn is perfect for the traveler who is on business or needs proximity to the Edmonton Airport and does not need anything fancy. The food is excellent, clean rooms and after staying three times I find the staff on the whole to be excellent. However, on checking in this last visit the young man at the front desk (Alexander) was rude […] and messed up our reservation and was insisting on a $250.00 deposit even though our room had been paid for. This is not the usual unprofessionalism we find at this hotel. Our room consequently was double booked and while we were sleeping another guest was given the key to our room and tried to enter. I still recommend this hotel but perhaps Alexander should find employment not dealing with the public. Les mer

Very nice place to stay on the over night if you are dropping your truck off at the Park n Fly, right next door. Great food but lacked a swimming pool for the kiddies.

Rooms are very nice and comfortable. The pool area is very small and there are only spas and steam showers, no larger pool for kids. 1 of the 2 hot tubs was closed and the onle that was open was lukewarm at best.

From the very nice photos on the website we were expecting a much higher quality hotel. It is probably on par with a Super 8 or Motel 6, which is fine if that is what a facility is advertising and what the client is expecting. To be fair, the room was clean, but the mattress had a very unusual "cavern" on one side, making sleep very uncomfortable. We […] tried to let the desk staff know about this, but they didn't answer the phone. The wifi reception was poor (we had to go to the lobby to get reception), and there were no bed side lamps (not a big deal unless you want to read in bed, which we did). When we went to the front desk to let them know about the mattress, there were 18 people lined up and only one staff member at the desk. We also called about a dog that had been barking for over two hours. After three attempts to call the desk, they finally answered but told us there really wasn't anything they could do. Perhaps another room in the hotel would have been quieter and more comfortable. If you decide to choose this hotel, expect a standard budget hotel quality, nothing more. Les mer
