Vi kom litt skeptiske til Miami. Er dette noe, liksom. Men etter dagene der, er vi hel frelste og det er takket være Ocean Plaza Beach Resort. Du kommer der og blir møtt av folk som tar bilen din og setter den i garasjen. De tar ut kofferter og åpner dører. Inne er det verdens hyggeligste mann som vil ta koffertene opp til hotellrommet. Og i reseptionen er det bare smil å se. En føler seg så tatt vare på av alle som jobber der og når stranden hotellet ligger på er verdens flotteste og sjøen er lyse grønn, ja da er livet herlig:-)

Helt OK, og rimelig hotell ett lite stykke utenfor gamlebyen i Savannah. Hotellet holder en helt grei standard, men med noe gretten betjening. Hotellet ligger ca 15 minutters kjøretur fra gamlebyen i Savannah. Så om du som oss bare skal innom en dag for å se på severdigheter og være turist ville jeg nok anbefalt noe som ligger litt nærmere! Men for all del et greit hotel!

We are wery pleased with the service at this hotel. The reseption clerks was always friendly and helpful if we had any question. The room started to becom a bit worn, but a cheap prise compensate for this. In addition to this, the hotel is wery sentrally situated. I would definitive recomend this hotel.

"Kinda Marriott but not as expected"
Nice reception, good valet parking service. Cleaning crew was very helpful, although I got a smelly room, and the crew was not able to testify. Luckily one other crew member had her nose open and was as disgusted as we were and then we got a new room immediately. The location is fine although still a stiff walk to the center. This hotel is beautiful. Our room was spotless and very pretty. The best part was Bea the concierge. She planned our whole evening and it was fantastic! One of the best travel days we have had, and we travel a lot! We are already planning a return trip and will be staying here. Make sure if you go you ask Bea her advice. "Bait & Switch?"
I paid more to get a 2 bed room. They checked us in, only for us to open the room door and see 1 bed and a sleeper sofa. We immediately went back to front desk, who informed us "too bad. We're booked solid.", despite me showing them (again) my Hotel.com reservation print out After MUCH waiting, a manager came and magically found us the room type we […] had paid for. Meanwhile, we overheard another guest be immediately placed in to a 2 bed room upon their check-in. Shotty service, not representative of most Marriotts I've visited. A real shame, too, since they are very convenient to the SCAD Campus. Lesson Learned -- make front desk staff say out loud the type of room they are giving you the key to because they go out of their way to avoid moving you once they consider you "checked in!" Les mer

courtyards are the first choice of my family when we travel. This is our third stay at this particular courtyard. Previous stays were, obviously, better. Next visit we will look at other choices in the historic downtown area of savannah.

This is an excellent hotel selection if you attending an event at the Civic Center in Savannah. Close enough to walk! The only disappointment was the lack of a restaurant for lunch and dinner.

We arrived about 3:15 in the afternoon, our room was not ready. They said it would be about 10 minutes. After about 25 minutes we gave them our bags and left to explore the city. "Very nice for the price..."
Got a great rate on this Savannah hotel for last minute Bachelorette weekend... The building and grounds are nice, especially the pool and courtyard. Some of the furnishings are showing some wear. It's nothing super noticeable, but as a hospitality manager myself, I tend to nit-pick those types of things. Room was spacious and clean. Valet parking was […] superb!! All the valets were very nice, polite, and quick. Front desk clerks were friendly and helpful, although the management should invest in some new uniforms (only about half of the employees appeared to be wearing one, and those were shabby and ill-fitting... a small cost to make a big impression). My only real complaint was that housekeepers were banging on doors at 9 am on Sunday morning. Checkout is at noon. After a night out on River Street we were still sleeping at 9!! This is a situation that management needs to address!!! Les mer

Terrific location! Although it was $12/ a day to park, you could come and go and that was all you paid for that day. The Valet parkers were very professional and exuded the "southern hospitality" that area is known for. We ate ate several of the Restaurants downtown and happily walked off the calories, well almost all! Distillary a wonderful place for […] a night cap. As hot as it was in July, the location of the pool at this hotel had a constant breeze blowing to make getting outside enjoyable. The queen beds & size of the room was great. Would recommend this hotel as a fine stop or destination for anyone.

"Hotel at the Historic District"
The hotel was great. Having a corner room was awesome. Tour buses left out of the Visitor's Center across the street. The walk to the river was just a few blocks. We walked to eat someplace different every night.

It took about five minutes to walk from our hotel to riverstreet. Even walking back late at night, it was a safe walk, well lit. The hotwl was clean, and the room was spacious. Valet Parking, so it's better if you plan to walk while there.

Very nice facility. Accomodating staff and clean room. Great location for taking in this city that is full of history and beauty.

Hotel and staff were fine and helpful. It's sort of at the edge of the historic district. Closest recommended restaurants were a multi-block walk distant. Big advantage: they charge a one-time very reasonable fee for valet parking but allow multiple in-and-out, so we were able to drive to dinner.

The pool is tiny and the toilet in our room was not properly cleaned but everything else was perfect!

The location is a 10 minute stroll to the water's edge, and it is on a corner of the downtown core. great location for wandering in any direction and making a loop/snake through downtown on your way back. i'll definitely recommend both the city and the hotel. we only stayed 1 night on our way further south, and we'll be returning.

We just stayed here one night while en route to Hilton Head, but it was perfect for walking all over Savannah to see the sites, grab some good food- Six Pence and Clarys were just a few blocks away- Leopolds Ice cream not too far either! Hotel was clean, service was great- parking wasn't too expensive. Would def recommend!
