Dette er et godt hotell, rent, bekvemt, ikke altfor dyrt, og med hyggelige ansatte. Vi ble begeistret over å oppdage at det lå bare ett kvartal unna Nicollet Mall-stasjonen på Light Rail, slik at vi lett kunne komme oss til og fra flyplassen og Mall of America.

Et bra hotell med god standard. Store rom med gode senger. At Starbucks og Appelbee´s er integrert i hotellet er helt utmerket.

Fantastisk at de bringer deg til og fra flyplassen gratis! Ikke nok med det, de utfører samme gratis-service til Mall of America. Hyggelig personale, fine/komfortable rom og gratis wifi bidrar også til at jeg definitivt anbefaler dette hotellet.

"Quiet and convenient"
Stayed here because the SpringHill Suites next door was full. Not quite as good because the bed in the suite is only a Queen and the sofas are not comfortable. One advantage is the full kitchenette. Complimentary breakfast is adequate (though not as good as SpringHill) and staff are friendly and helpful. Would stay again if the price is right.

"Sister's Weekend!"
Perfect set up for what we wanted. 3 Sisters had a wonderful weekend. Perfect amount of space. We had space to play games, space to eat, loved the kitchen area. Beds were so comfy!

"I complain about everything and I got nothing"
This hotel is conviently located 10 minutes from down town Minneapolis at half the price of down town hotel's with more ammenities. This hotel is located near a Mall/Prominade with fun bars like Toby Keiths. Upon arriving at this hotel we were greeted with a friendly hello, cookies, and a coffee bar. It was NYE and being from outta town we didn't know […] were to go. The same friendly helpful desk attendant printed off some phone #'s to some local clubs. When we picked our spot to ring in the new year, we phoned the front desk and a different employee set up a lincoln town car for our transportation to downtown as well for only $15. The room was spotless and it came with a kitchen. Fridge, stove, microwave, dishwasher, plates, bowls, glasses you name it. Free WIFI access with a comfy office area and a nice sized flat screen TV. By far the best hotel experience I've had in a long, long time. In future travels I will be sure to check for a Marriot Towneplace 1st over any other hotel. Les mer
"Towneplace suites is a super location"
A group of us came to the cities to Christmas shop and see my daughter at college in Minneapois. There were 6 of us total, so it took a lot of looking around to find accommodations to fit all of us at a reasonable price. I actually got to talk to a real person when I called hotels.com. They were very helpful to find us this great hotel. We have stayed […] in the area before, but not this hotel. Love the hotel and love the area. Close to downtown, college campus, fun shopping. And just generally a central location. The hotel was more than adequate for our needs. The only complaint I would have is that the pullout sofa bed was terrible. But it is hard to find a good sofa bed. Even after putting the mattress on the floor it was terrible lumpy. Great time Les mer

I would recommend this hotel for long stays, however the kitchen area was not very clean when we arrived, the cooking pans are HORRIBLE and the stove burners are so crooked we could hardly cook. The room size was good but the full size bed for a couple is not that comfy. The neighborhood had so many places in walking distance so that was nice. The room we stayed in was the Studio Queen Suite and it was the most perfect room! We loved it! Had everything you would need, including a little kitchenette! Very comfortable!

Be sure to book early for this hotel! I was in Minneapolis for a family reunion. When I mother wanted to extend her stay the place was completely booked! (she was able to move next door to the Springhill Marriott, though...). The full kitchen with full-size fridge and freezer is great. The 24-hour workout room is great. This was a super nice hotel. I loved everything about it. I wish the breakfast had more warm foods, but overall not bad A wide variety of cereal and juice.

This was our 2nd stay at TownPlace. Check-in was fastest I've had in 20 years. Only minor complaints are: (1) add a few items to the "breakfast" (2) join this decade and do away with the 27" TVs....time for a flat screen and (3) fans are needed in the bathrooms since you do not have vanities outside the bathroom area. The hotel was located close to shops and restaurants. The area was safe from what I could see. The hotel is a newer building and clean. Staff was very helpful and friendly and handled our problem very fast.(we needed sheets and pillows for the sofa bed.) For the money I would consider staying here again when in that area. "Had to come to Minneapolis for family business"
I actually had the wrong hospital listed when we searched for a place to stay, but it ended up becoming a happy accident, for we never would have ended up staying at Towneplace. Restaurants, a movie theater, and a grocery store is close by so we could put some food in the fridge and save money. Definitely will stay again.
"Convenient Location"
This hotel is located close to restaurants, shopping and easy access to I-394 to head into Minneapolis. The suites are spacious, and clean. Good exercise room with multiple cardio machines plus dumbbells. Breakfast was skimpy -- cereal, yogurt and muffins.
"Great for the price"
Room was clean, quiet and comfortable. The location was within 10-15min from our destinations. There is a PC available in the lounge to look up directions or get a map - that was very helpful as we didn't bring ours along.
"Rude front desk guy"
Guy at front desk was rude, I did not bring any credit cards to check in but had cash and he would not take cash for a $20 deposit on incidentals. He simply said if we did not have a credit card then he could not check us in.

As mentioned above the stay at Towneplace was wonderful. The room was clean along with the other facilities were well maintained. The staff was very helpful and willing to assist whenever it was necessary. Snow removal was timely and parking lot was accessible. Continue the good work and customer focus.

The studio suite - very reasonable rate- had nice L-shape desk with shelves and cupboard area; complete kitchen; sofa and easy chair area; good mattress on the bed. Located at the Hwy 100 and 394 interchange behind a major shopping area, it was still pretty quiet at night. Very clean, good coffee at front desk. "Clean, Comfy, and Classy"
Although it's a little difficult to get to the hotel, it was well worth it. The price was wonderful especially for the quality and breadth of amenities we got. The bed was comfy (5 pillows for two people!!), bathroom clean with a very nice shower. The furniture was all clean and not at all dated or overused. On a nice day, restaurants/stores aren't too bad of a walk, but still nothing less than probably 4-5 blocks. If you know your way around the area, you'll be fine, but we found ourselves making circles getting on and off 394 following the GPS directions just to get somewhere a mile from the hotel. Again, no fault of the hotel, just the area itself. If you and your sweetheart bring some stuff to cook and are up for a low-budget, romantic weekend in, this is the place to do it. "Great for the price"
My husband and i travel to Minnesota to visit family yearly and this hotel was better than anyone we stayed in. For the price you cant beat the size and comfort. It was by far cheaper than any other hotel for the ammenities. Definitely would stay again.

the location was great. bed was super comfy (best thing for me). staff was helpful. when i checked into my room it smelled awful. the front desk gave me really good airfreshner though.

"needs improvement"
I had a late dinner meeing on Monday night. Leaving for the airport at 10:45am Tuesday. However the cleaning staff started pounding on my door at 740am! and again at 8:00am and again at 8:15am I guess they don't know or understand that check out time is 11:00am!
