hotellet ligger sentralt ved en gate der det stort sett var bybanen som utgjorde trafikken. Så det var lite støy. Rommene var ok, betjeningen hyggelig, men ingen spesielle fasiliteter. Det var også det vi var ute etter denne gangen , så vi fikk god valuta for pengene.

Frokost burde være inkludert i prisen, denne servicen kan en stor kjede som Best Western yte sine gjester. På et annet B.W. hotell vi bodde på i Frankrike i sommer sto det en vannflaske på hvert nattbord. Det var kjærkomment etter en varm dag!

Hotellet ligger veldig sentralt til like ved hovedgaten. Frokosten helt grei, og servicen kjemnpebra. Vi overnattet 4 netter før vi dro videre. Dette hotellet vil vi gjerne bo på hvis vi reiser til Nice flere ganger.

Trivelig personer med god service. Hotellet perges av å være noe nedslitt. Veldig dårlig madrass på vår rom som ga særdeles dårlig søvn. Grei frokost.

Hotellet var greit, rent og pent. Små rom med en liten balkong på de fleste. Beliggenheten var perfekt, midt i handlegaten og 12-15 min å spasere ned til strandpromenaden. Trikk gikk også like utenfor døren og direkte ned dit. Bra restauranter like ved. Frokost spiste vi på fortausrestauranten like over gaten, nydelige baguetter og god kaffe. Et tips: […] kjøp en guidet tur "Riverieraen rundt" - en heldagstur som var helt fantastisk. Bestilles via resepsjonen. Les mer

Good convenient location mid way between railway station and promenade. Some tram/ traffic noise but not too bad. We had a standard double but beds not the most comfortable though and no comfy chair to sit on either. Self-service breakfast with good selection of items. Friendly staff

Great position on main boulevard, near tram, train station and airport bus. Short walk to old town. Our room had scaffolding up so couldn't open window/curtains - presumably why we had a cheap rate - would not have been ideal if it had been warmer weather. Showerhead was a bit leaky. The staff was very helpful and pleasing. Great hotel location. Breakfast was a little over priced but the receptionist fixed the price for me with no problems.

Great location and they were able to move my room when there was an issue with the first one. Only problem was the heat, which I could not figure out.

It's a basic hotel, but the location is terrific - walking distance virtually everywhere...

We didn't get to Best Western New York as it was being renovated , but we stayed at Best Western Alba which was just down the street. It was in walking distance from everywhere and staff were very friendly. We had a great 4 day stay.

First of all, the best welcome from the receptionist Christoph. I was only there for two nights and on over three occasions he managed to go out of his way for me and above and beyond what was expected. In terms of the service and staff, five-star all the way!I will come again and highly recommend this place to everyone. The Front desk staff was Great - especially Nuella who has been with you 7 years. Promote her - she did so much to make us comfortable!

Definitively not a three star hotel. It is in desperate need of a major upgrade. The baths were upgraded, that is clear, but there are still plumbing and venting problems; a bad odor would develop in the room. The hotel building -- externally -- would be nice if it was not for a business store installed on the first two floors of part of the building. The […] location is very good though. Close to a supermarket -- actually next door -- to restaurants, to department stores, and in front of the tramway. It is also at walking distance -- 5 to 10 minutes -- to the train station, and at a 15-min walk to the beach. Promenade des Anglais. Location is great. Easy to access by walk both from the railway station and Promnade des Anglais. It is located around the center of Ave Jean Medecine and there are many restaurants and stores around. The next door is MonoPrix (supermarket) and it is very convenient. We had a very comfortable stay here in Nice. Whilst the hotel room overall was a bit "tired" it was a fabulous room, very clean and with a fantastic outlook. The hotel is a five/ten minute walk to the main train station, a half minute walk to the very frequent trams, and a twenty minute walk to the historic centre and/or water front. Great helpful extremely friendly staff, very clean,location idealy great , went out of they way to help us plan side trips & booked then also without a charged, alwas very hot water without waiting minutes on end for it to reach your room. fair price for room. we will be back next year.

This hotel didn't excel any of my expectations, failed a little even because trucks washing the streets at 5AM woke us both days since our room faced the street. Room itself was small (expected in europe), clean enough, and AC temperature is not settable, only fan was controllable. Right next to the tram stop, which is nice. Very spartan hotel accommodation with small rooms, but for a business traveler like me, who spent most of the day out and about, it was perfectly fine. And the price is right for that location in Paris (just off the Denfert-Rochereau).

The carpet in the room is dirty and old. There was a foul smell in my room from the carpet I slept with an open window to get rid of the smell. Definitely not recommend.

The hotel was in a great location. 1 minute from the tram, 7 minutes from the train station. Lots of shopping locally with supermarket opposite. Beach 15 minute walk or jump on tram 5 minutes. We was walking back to hotel at 1-2 am and no trouble at all. Hotel rooms are nice and clean but my only complaint was the a/c wasn't great. Peak summer it struggled […] to cool the room. The Best Western New York Nice is a great value for the money. The hotel is a little worn but staff are friendly and helpful, our room was very clean, and we loved the little balcony with a view. Very glad we found this place as Nice hotels can be very expensive. This hotel was just perfect - it was beautiful, clean, with a friendly staff, and the location was ideal. It was just a ten minute walk from both the train station and old Nice/the Promenade des anglais. When we wanted to go to Monaco and Ventimiglia, they were more than helpful, suggesting buses and trains and explaining the pros and cons of each. […] One of my friends tried the breakfast and loved it (though, it seemed a bit expensive to me). Finding a hotel that is that nice for that price that also includes free wifi, is air conditioned, and with an American-style shower was just wonderful. Les mer

A family of 3 stayed for 2 nights in a triple room. Location is excellent, the hotel is a little bit old but very clean and quiet. The staff is great ( 5 stars for Alina who gave us a lot of info about our stay there and about the surroundings).

We stayed at this hotel for 5 nights in June 2012. Centrally located, it makes a good base to explore the vibrant city of Nice. The staff on Reception were very helpful and polite, nothing was too much trouble. Our only negative thoughts were that the New York could benefit from a lick of paint here and there and some new carpets!! Rooms were basic, […] and no tea or coffee making facilities. Hotel Best Western New York New York is excellently located between Gare De Nice (7 mins walk) & Promonade Des Anglais (the beach at 10 mins walk). Monoprix (Huge Super Market is just bang opposite) + Nice Etoile (Shopping centre) is at 2 mins walk. Hotel Staff (Specially Claudia & Nela at Reception) are excellent - I dint know a word of French but […] they guided me very nicely and managed to explore the French Riviera from Monaco to Cannes. Handly location just off the main tramlined shopping street. Easy walking to seafront, old town and SNCF rail station...a longer walk makes visiting archaeology museum definitely do-able (ask in reception for the best route). I even walked to the airport which took about 1 hour 30 mins excluding stops along for swims. If you do this, think about looking […] round Phoenix Park, almost apposite the aiport on the promenade des anglais. Les mer
