good value for money - adjacent to motorway - 30 mins from airport - would always consider staying at this hotel on next visit.. Food somewhat expensive in the restaurant and was "unlucky" with a tough steak, therfore eat only once there. Enjoyed very much our stay here. Only one night but will certantly book this hotel again. Didn't go to hotel restaurant but pub/carvery next door was very nice. Enjoyed good food there.

Reception staff on arraival were not particulary warm and welcoming and seemed to be just going through the motions, room was clean and comfortable. I ate in the Verve grill which as usual the food was nicely prepared and the staff were friendly. The food is slightly on the expensive side. Breakfast is the usual 'self service' avaialble at so many hotels […] these days with pre cooked vaguely warm food. The wifi is ineffective and not suitable for such a large hotel as during the evenign yu will have trouble getting an acceptable signal. Les mer

Excellent hotel for business travel in the surrounding area. Good motorway links, rooms are comfortable with free wifi, gym is well equipped, food good quality and reasonably priced. Would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in the local area.

bury is home to the famous market & black pudding. The hotel is directly off the motorway so easy to find. The staff were helpful, rooms clean, fitness facilities easy to access and it was a pleasent stay,

Ideal location for exploring or commuting into Manchester . The hotel has pleasant friendly helpful staff all helps for a very comfortable stay

we stayed here just one night for a wedding. the room was adequate - unfortunately our room was next to staircase so could here noise from this/opening/closing of doors. didnt bother to ask for room change as only for one night. the hotel itself was great with very good leisure facilities - pool was fantastic - and of course we had free use of this […] whilst we stayed there. the only thing yet an important was that let it down was the breakfast. i STAYED IN BURY AT THE VILLAGE HOTEL TO SEE BURY MARKET AND SHOPS AND ALSO VISIT MANCHESTER.THE HOTEL WAS FIRST CLASS BUT THE STAFF WERE A BIT SLOW. I HAD TO WAIT 15MINS AT THE BAR TO GET SERVED.RECEPTION WAS ALSO SLOW.IT WAS GREAT TO STAY AT THE HOTEL BUT HAD TO GET TAXI'S INTO BURY.THE METRO WAS A GREAT WAY TO GET INTO THE HEART OF MANCHESTER.

Nothing to complain about here, well maybe the price of drinks in the Victory Pub!! Other than that the food is excellent in the Verve restaurant, even in the Victory. Great atmosphere and the staff are fantastic. Love it!!

This is a very busy, vibrant hotel. Accommodation good value for money. Gym facilities outstanding. Downside was noise from other guests continuing after 2am.

Very handy for the motorway & easy to park. Newly refurbished, clean & good-sized room - comfortable but could do with a second chair. Breakfast buffet excellent - fresh fruit & healthy options as well as traditional freshly cooked food. Staff friendly & helpful. Very vibrant hotel. Good prices for food and drink. A lovelly breakfast.

I found the hotel extremely pleasant and very well set out. The gym is absolutely amazing and just what I wanted. It's was a nice touch providing the ladies with their own gym, although they could also use the bigger gym. The breakfast was fantastic and the best I've seen out of my own home. If the location suits you, 100% stay in this hotel!

it was a lovley stay and i would tell all my mates and other pips about the hotel if thay very need one it was all good had two good night sleeps and it was cleen and tidey every where and for breckys that was good to and i would stay at the hotel again

This hotel is extremly busy with guests and locals visiting the enormous leisure facilities, classes and gyms and a good meeting place at Starbucks cafe at the entrance of the hotel. The room was clean and modern. Service in the restaurant was excellent and the meals delicious. Reception staff were courteous.

i went to a friends wedding which was held at the village hotel , a taxi would have been £40-£50 return so i decided to stay over with the wife for just £65 with breakfast and we bought dinner which was beautiful ,it was clean and friendly but the drinks are quite expensive !!!

Musty, dark, miserable room. Panoramic view of a flat roof. 2 lamps not working. Curtains hanging off the rail. Huge, dirty cracks in hand basin. Arranged for a room change and was told this was ok, only to have this denied later that day and told the hotel was full. Had to queue 20 minutes for a basic, warm, less-than-standard breakfast - this also […] included huge queues for tea/coffee/toast. Outrageous value-for-money - I would NEVER stay here again!!!!!!! The hotel is clean and comfortable. The leisure facilities giving it bonus points, the finer details however are somewhat lacking. There is a lack of t.v. channels on the advertised Sky channels. The breakfast was my greatest disappointment. The dry foods were crammed into a dark corner, so finding what you wanted was difficult and totally unappealing. […] The cooked breakfast was buffet style, was cold and quite poor quality produce. This hotel was a great budget break away including a lovely full breakfast. the staff were polite and helpful, food delicous, hotel clean and rooms comfortable. The ammenities included where also of a very high standard. The only are that let this hotel down was the fact that the rooms are a bit out dated but it didnt effect our stay. overall nice hotel […] and easily accessible no complaints for the price we paid. Generally pleasent stay, excellent gym and spa facility. I was charged £1 for a dental kit, i've never been charged for this type of item before! apart from this the staff were very friendly.

We found this hotel great value for money and all staff really friendly. We stayed on the second floor and the room was newly refurbished, modern, comfortable and stylish. We did have 2 cracked floor tiles in the bathroom however on our last day tilers were repairing the floor on the bathroom opposite us so perhaps this small downside is already rectified. […] Breakfast too was excellent. We booked a double room, including breakfast, and we got a very good price. No problems with cleanliness or comfort, but there were several cracked tiles on the bathroom floor that needed replacing. Breakfast, however, was not very good. I would probably not bother with it next time.

Staff very helpful. Meals in the restaraunt were excellent as was the service. All areas were clean. Nightime entertainment a bit lacking.

Wer länger bleibt sollte nach rückwärtigen Zimmern fragen. Das Restaurant gegenüber dem Hotel ist sehr zu empfehlen. Was fehlt sind spezielle Raten für Langzeitaufenthalte.

It's similar to a Travelodge but with a public pool / gym attached. If you don't need the pool or gym then save your money and book into somewhere cheaper. The rooms are showing their age. Tables in bars and restaurant looking tired and need updating.
